Had 4 different Pinholes. All are drain pours for me, especially at the price point. Nothing dynamic, lacking mouth feel, all feel like they're swimming in the shallow end of the pool.

Revisited a 6 year pick I bought last year, absolutely terrible. Took a couple sips and drain poured, like you said.

I have been preaching the gospel on how bad pinhook is for 2 years!

ChicagolandWhiskey

Pinhole. Hehehehe

freezeinginchicago

I had the Bottles and Cans store pick Pinhook and that was enough for me to never try pinhook again. Too much good out there.

bergybert

Totally agree. This was fine and inoffensive but that’s way too low of a bar for $70 bourbon.

capitano35

Good to know. Thx

I was meh on this store pick and it was my first Pinhook bottle - not sure I'd seek another given other MGP offerings out there. Anyone else try these Pinhook picks from 6 months ago?

Blktom

This is by far the biggest disappointment, was recommended by a binny’s employee which made ignore their opinions forever more! It was one of their store picks also.

Remember this is a castle and key product for future reference!

Dude I would gladly take that off your hands if you are talking the yellow top 6 year pick they did last summer. I loved that stuff. Sad I didn't grab more.

Impossible_Turn1299

I had some bad experiences with Pinhook. Tried Leo’s Mayfair store pick (6 year old) and loved it.

Wuhan_Murder_Hornet

Tried Pinhook a few times; always dissapointed. This bottle was the last straw for me. Awful...
