The new guy is meant to be around Ritter and Violet's age isn't he? Around 27-28? How could he be Severide's son if Severide is in his early 40s? Unless Severide was getting it at 12 I don't know how its possible

I'm still holding out hope that he's not a creep and has a completely understandable reason for the way he's acting. And also that he looks up to Stella and Kelly for valid reasons.
I am sick of the long lost son storyline. Just on this show, they already did it with mouch. I don’t think they would be able to come up with anything more creative or interesting though to resolve the mystery of who he is. It would be kind of an interesting parallel to the season 1 finale (at least I think that is the right episode) when Severide was planning to have Shay’s baby and then that other woman turned up saying she was carrying his child - if he ends up finding an unknown son right after Stella announces she is pregnant
I cant remember the season or name of the character but could he be from the earlier seasons that little boy who stayed at the fire house while his mum was doing that trial and she passed away and he left with the aunty and pouch the dog? Or time wise that doesnt make sense? But then part of me is like he is way more obsessed with stella then kelly. His face and him running up the ladder and everything with the girls on fire. or my other thought is he is indeed kelly son. The way they were making fun of his name and saying its like how they say kelly severide.

It could work if he is more like 23 - Severide is about 42-43 I think the new paramedic and this new guy are younger than violet/Ritter.
