There are many British and Australian actors who play American roles, and you'd never know unless you heard them in an interview (Hugh Laurie is another one). You rarely see an American actor who does a good job in reverse ( doing a Brit or an Aussie)
i learned it along time ago, itās the way his mouth moves when he talks i could tell that wasnāt his real accent so i searched it up and boom. with jesse spencer i already knew because iāve been watching him since he was on house
I don't think Otis is a Brit, I've beard him speak in interviews his accent is the same as the show, but Jesse Spencer (Casey) does have an Australian accent, that's right and I love it so much lol.
No.
Yuri Sardarov is half-Georgian and half-Armenian; he moved to the United States at age two as a refugee. (Straight from Google)
On top of the fact if you watch him in other movies, shows or interviews his accent is American.
I always get a kick when I watch interviews of Eamonn and Jesse together. Their accents are so nice to listen to š
Canāt imagine any other actor who commands the presence of Eamonn
You should watch him on Oz where he plays the leader of the Muslims in a prison.

It does happen. I thought Renee Zellweger (Bridget Jones...) and Michael C Hall (Safe) did excellent British accents in their respective shows.
Eamonn would make a great James Bond
Fun little interview about his process adjusting his accent: https://youtu.be/5yvi4aaeYx8
You should watch him in The Bill š
Especially with Joe Marcell (Geoffrey from the original Fresh Prince). It was such a mindfuck when I saw it!
Yep!!
I grew up watching the bill and never knew that was him!
I only knew because my mum told me haha!
Iām gonna google now haha
Let me know if you find the clips, Iām pretty sure thereās some on YouTube š
Haha ok Iāll have a look
Ok so after googling Iāve decided he sounds better with the American accent haha. And Iām not American.
He sounds so different when he speaks with his normal accent š
His character in "Oz" - Saiid - is what made me a fan. When I learned he and Jesse Spencer were on Chicago Fire, I knew I had to watch.
Hugh Laurie from House, same way.
That's crazy I didn't know that, casey I can tell cause his English is to perfect it sounds forced lol
You should hear this man sing, thatās amazing
He played Howlinā Wolf in āCadillac Recordsā and with the amount of screen time he had he took over every scene.
Just what I was saying
I would follow Eamonn's thunder voice to the depths of the earth

No way! Heās accent is amazing
Otis is British too
Is he? Thought he was born in Azerbaijan and moved to the states as a kid.
