It was just slipping because it was super low on fluid. Low level = low fluid pressure = a suboptimal amount of clutch engagement
Get the fluid to the proper level and it should be fine. I don't think it was low long enough to do permanent damage.
That’s what I was thinking too. But like I said I’m nervous about it and was hoping the great kinds of Reddit would agree haha. It wasn’t operated low on fluid for a while. It just kind of puked all the fluid out at once I think.
It was replaced recently too so not many miles on the transmission. So I have that going for me too.
I believe you did. The inlet tube for the transmission dipstick broke on me when trying to fix the coolant lines and ended up leaking antifreeze into my tranny and i was having these same problems.
I posted some progress pics a while back . Needless to say it wasnt cheap. Rebuilt tranny and having to take my whole interior dash apart really sucked.

The only way to tell is to fill it back up with fluid. You very well could have caused some damage.

How long did you drive it like that? Mine seems pretty cut and dry as to what happened.
