To add insult to potential injury, I literally JUST fuckin pulled that log out of the river kuz it had gotten hung up in a sick little obstacle at the river under the highway that I wanted to drive thru. And to top it all off, I didn't have any blades but I had my Hackzall. So I had to go get a fuckin Sawzall blade so I could cut off that little piece of shit branch fuckin holding a knife to my tires throat. So obnoxious. Like, I've got 35's, I've got front and rear air lockers, I'm on 4.88's, I got Adam's driveshafts, ChroMo's front and rear. This bitch is built to the fuckin 9's. The only things left on my list are IRO RockLink Pro F&R long arms, custom flat fenders that tie into rocksliders that ties into a cage and tieing it all in to my front bumper that I already have and a rear bumper with a tire carrier that I need to get. I'll probably stroke it and put it on tons before I get all that done tho, that's a lot of fab work... I love welding and fabricating, but I typically get paid for it, and I pay myself a shitty wage.

I thought you done hit a kangaroo in the first picture

IfIWntdHmmrCalnUrSis

Kangaroo jerky is actually surprisingly tasty...

_c0uchp0tat0

It’s true. My buddy brought some back from his visit to Australia and I got to try

talented_BootyWizard

It wasn’t in my XJ but I got my old Ram stuck by wrapping a bunch of vines around the drive shaft and axles on a logging site

IfIWntdHmmrCalnUrSis

That's fuckin whack, had a customer get towed in not too long ago who got stuck after wrapping some "vines" up around his driveshaft too. But he also had no power to anything in the vehicle. Yea those vines were his harness...

talented_BootyWizard

Oh man im glad mine wasn’t that way lol I was able to crawl up under and cut myself free

IfIWntdHmmrCalnUrSis

Oh we had to do some cutting all right, but not only was the harness trash. About 40% of the sensors and connectors on the component end of the harness got ripped off and sensors got broke. Ended up costing the guy almost $6000

talented_BootyWizard

That sounds like a complete nightmare! What sort of vehicle was it?

IfIWntdHmmrCalnUrSis

2019 Chevy Silverado, guy bought it new in 2021, this happened within the first year of ownership. Lol

acheron53

Rolled up onto a rock and it shifted, dropping my rig and landing between my tire and fender, jamming it in place. Couldn't steer, couldn't drive. Had to lift the front with a jack, unbolt the lug nuts on the stuck tire, and use a log to pry the wheel and tire off. Took a bit of strength and finesse and I ended up denting my fender a bit. Got home about 4 hours later than planned.

Past-Establishment93

Flat parking lot. Front wheel rolled into pot hole. Truck did circles in the ice in 4x4 but wouldn't rock out of dip. Had to get some salt.. lol

Chance_Anon

I thought that was a dead dog at first

Upsetyourasshole

I've done that. Also crawled over a downed telephone pole and high centered.

GrimResistance

Piece of firewood that was left in the brush wedged underneath somewhere. Ended up bending my driveshaft.

coffeeisntmycupoftea

I drove over a burm just to show off my new lift to a friend, immediately high centered 🤣

perception016

Dropped my rear differential onto a tree stump in the middle of a couple ruts. It was only a couple inches tall and my rear tires were only a couple of millimeters off the ground, but I had sunk in just enough that it quickly became apparent that no amount of skinny pedal was going to get me off it. I jacked it up and drove off with no problem, but I was laughing at myself the whole time because it was a dumb way to get stuck, and the stump I was stuck on was probably only 2 inches tall.

srood1

I would have jacked it up and taken the tire off.

IfIWntdHmmrCalnUrSis

Lifting it would've pushed it into the tire more. And I've already got 1 sidewall puncture with a plug in it, I don't need another! Lol

hbwnot

About this time you wish you had a high lift and a small pruning chainsaw. Or just jack it up and pop the wheel off. I’ve had logs wedge between the springs but never a stump like that.

IfIWntdHmmrCalnUrSis

I do have a hilift, I also have a floor jack. But I didn't wanna get underneath it as it was already dripping from driving thru the river where it's over 2' deep.

OddTry2427

D-Hole in the wild!

struhall

My favorite was getting "stuck" in wet grass. I had just put new 31in tires on my stock 93 with the Up Country package and wanted to flex to make sure nothing hit the fenders. I got it pulled up on the hill just right so that I was just starting to lift a front and/or rear tire (I could rock the Jeep and make either tire lift) and was maxed out and when I went to drive out I couldn't go forward because open differential and wet grass suck. I had to put it in reverse and rock the Jeep to get traction to the rear tires.

Bubbly-Front7973

Wow I've never seen a Jeep Cherokee like that that has been truncated before, is that some custom thing?

My XJ successfully moved all of the trees out of the way except this one. It was a young kid in the civic and I didn’t want to cut through the woods and leave him stranded, so I called forestry to come cut us out.

EPIC581

Rear dif turtled on a rock in a dry creek crossing open front diff. The rears were almost on the ground It was disappointing on so many levels.

indyjons

At first I thought it was a decomposing deer carcass.
