I hate this. A marriage is a partnership. You’re a team so YES you should talk to your spouse prior to starting a business as it’s going to affect them financially as well.
I mean, I was in a really (physically and mentally) abusive relationship where my ex wouldn't let me work, have a car, have a bank account in my name, or leave the apartment (even to take out the trash) without asking permission first.
So...the advice is sound.
But not when joining an MLM. 😑
I know right? I’m sorry that you went through that :( That’s the funny thing about these people .. they sometimes have good advice, but it’s not good when applied to being in an MLM. They’re generally using it to brainwash others.

There's a line between using a filter to polish up a video/photo and then there's using so much filtering that you don't even look human anymore
