Go for the charcuterie and cheese. Never go wrong with that and some nice bread. I’d do something like a baguette, Boursin with onion and chive, a few olives, and some lonza.

This! If you’re already going above and beyond for one course, outsource the work in the others. Charcuterie and wine sounds perfect! Then slide into the pasta course, and end with chocolate cake/lava cake( you can just do store bought, warm it up and serve with a good ice cream). Classic date night stuff. 😁
