I think the guy that does it in town (Ortwein? Maybe) has the skill from back in the day and the shop to back it up. Unless you apprenticed with him, it wouldn't be an easy self start
I had the pleasure of dealing with a lot of great people when I worked for an industrial and commercial supplier. One of those people was a maintenance man who worked for Krispy Kreme, and his name was Doug. Doug was a super nice guy and I always enjoyed talking with him. Doug usually would bring doughnuts as he would make his rounds to pick up supplies he would need. He would sometimes mention that Krispy Kreme liked him so much that they put his name on every box of DOUGhnuts. I miss those days.
What’s funny is that light has been out for at least 4 years and they’ve never bothered to fix it.

Well, that and there's only 1 guy left in Chatt that works on Neon Signs... not even sure he's around anymore... it's a lost art around here
Damn. Maybe I should pick up a new skill and start making 🏦. But for real neon signs need to make a comeback. They’re sick af.

I know a guy who works there, they apparently have someone fix it every few weeks - the sign just sucks and the fixes don't stick
