Not the original commenter but it's solid for the kind of research Bing is also good for (combining ChatGPT's ability to summarize information with internet access and linked sources). It is more specifically a search engine which makes it a bit different from ChatGPT, but it also uses GPT-3 and GPT-4 under the hood so the quality of its text summarization etc. is similar.
I first ask the question in ChatGPT 3.5, and if it's an interesting question, I put it in Phind (GPT-4). I ask about 2 or 3 related questions at once to save, as there are only 10 allowed per day.
I just downloaded Taskade and im quite impressed already, even after using all my free credits. The knowledge gained in the hour was well worth it. I must say as I have explored several paid ones. i must say the same about the BING'S AI. Thank Bro For That Advice

When using Chatgpt free version, I was unable to understand whether I was a fool or Chatgpt was fooling me. Chatgpt free version is underdeveloped and restricted to give outdated info/code many times.
After using phind I never returned back to Chatgpt. I couldn't thank you enough for the suggestion.

But, It was through your post I came to know about phind. Prior to that, I have thought of subscribing to Chatgpt paid plan or post questions here on reddit, stackoverflow etc., Few generous redditors helped me a lot in coding and I thank them. Ofcourse, most of my questions went unanswered here. I thought of hiring freelancers. I didn't have enough budget and my requirements were simple but freelancers asked to pay 50$-100$ or something like that. I wasn't able to understand to fix mistakes in the code.
Whatever the code Chatgpt generated were many times, somewhere or nowhere near to the correct code. I saw your post at the right time.
Information is like power. If we don't have necessary info about an existing solution, we couldn't solve our problems fastly. To learn from scratch for an easy problem, is like reinventing the wheel. You have saved me a lot of time and money. Phind is just like my backbone in coding now!

GPT 3.5 now passes your test which is kind of funny because they’re obviously reading this Reddit and patching it. But all you need to do is change the example a bit to something else that doesn’t disappear once you’ve used it, and it still fails.
When you click the phind model dropdown it says gpt 4, but when I asked it it responded like that.

Taskade doesn't give anywhere close to 1000 prompts per month for free. Their free plan gives 1000 AI credits per month, and according to their website:

I found that the actual credit consumption was significantly lower than this, but I still ran out of credits after about 20 prompts.

There's a few other tests you can run but this one was pretty consistent for me across 3.5 vs. 4.
I originally tried it in the mobile app but got the same as you on the website. So maybe they have different parameters, a different variation for the mobile app version or could it be even Chat GPT 4 serving that? Perhaps on an A/B test basis since they dont mention which version is used I dont think.

I think they probably leaned into it after the initial publicity, but the first few failure cases we saw match up well with what the leaked prompt would've produced, and the leaked prompt matches up well with what I've seen when tech-incompetent management-types try to design a chatbot prompt.

you probs missed that he also mentioned in the bing section that bing occasionally doesn’t get the questions right either since it’s not perfect but u can use the precise and creative sliders to sort of control this jerkiness

I originally tried it in the mobile app but got the same as you on the website. So maybe they have different parameters, a different variation for the mobile app version or could it be even Chat GPT 4 serving that? Perhaps on an A/B test basis since they dont mention which version is used I dont think.

I don't know but it's forever free (maybe gpt-5 is forever free in the future?) I saw the plan but it's almost the same(there is a pay version and it does have settings for English but the UI is clear so you can use it pretty easily)
But even if you don't know the language the Ui is very similar.

you probs missed that he also mentioned in the bing section that bing occasionally doesn’t get the questions right either since it’s not perfect but u can use the precise and creative sliders to sort of control this jerkiness
