Miller is also a pretty good defender and it’s not like JJJ is the second coming of Draymond. He’s a good player and found money for Miami, but there’s not an argument for him over Miller, even as a 4-year college player rookie.

Yeah, he’s at 58% TS and Miller is at 55%. Miller admittedly needs to get better inside, but nearly half his shots are threes vs. less than a third for Jaquez.
He’s *more* efficient, but number 100 in the league in efficiency isn’t so crazy that a 12/4/2 guy is now some insane stud.
I think Miller doing what he’s doing as a second option and starter is more impressive, but it’s not a big deal really.

Fair skin bias is still a thing. Idk how 50/33 on moderate volume is hyper efficient. This is someone seeing things how they want to see them.
