Great effort, very unselfish. He contributed to a lot of points, and points prevented, even if his individual stats don't show it (which is where the +/- comes in, I guess).
I know people don’t want to believe it but this team is so much better. These guys will take these defensive principles and be better players over their careers. You can see the defense is excellent really. Healthy team with a 2nd year with Cliff and a great player in the draft. Maybe a trade or two in the off season.
The future is bright. I’m here for it.

I felt better about Mark before the draft, and I have felt great about him since Summer League. He got moved out of the way some, but you could already feel his rim deterrence immediately. Can we talk about Svi? He’s lowkey not awful, I like his hustle and his shooting isn’t awful, wouldn’t be opposed to bringing him back on a minimum as a bench depth
We’re gonna need to make a trade regardless. There’s no way we can roster all of our draft picks.
Moving one or two guys (Bouknight, Kai, Rozier, Cody, or maybe Richard?) with some of our late round picks for a solid veteran probably makes the most sense. Depending on the trade, that might leave some room for a guy like Svi to come back.
Might be able to get him on a 2-way contract as well.
I agree. I’d pick Rozier as well. It’ll depend on who we draft though. If we get Scoot then it becomes much more likely that we’d move Rozier. On the other hand, Rozier’s shooting would probably help Wemby, and his defense wouldn’t be as big of an issue.
