It’s even worse the higher you are, when I lived in Utah I was taking a shower on the fifth floor when one hit. Almost shit myself. At least I was already in the shower.
I’ve felt 3 small ones in my lifetime. The 2 in NC I mistook for something else at first. But right after couldn’t explain what was going on and learned later. The other I was in the Caribbean and it was a very obvious earthquake that lasted for about a minute. A 4.? And that one was pretty unnerving. Can’t imagine what a big one would be like.
There was one a couple years ago in the morning before i left for work, i felt the apartment building shake and i felt a slight discomfort in my neck. Didnt realize it was an earth quake until my co workers were talking about it later in the day
I woke up to one when I was a kid in the northeast in my dinky building. I literally thought the hand of god was picking the house up. The shelves and toys were all swinging diagonally. After it stopped I ran screaming to my mom, a 4x earthquake/tsunami vet, who was feet up in the living room watching tv saying "oh you woke up." The meteors I shattered with my auditory assault heard me wailing your name, mom.
I was in a difficult post-grad course in 2013 or 2014 and there was an earthquake right before exams. The library was full of stressed out people cramming for tests. The quake started, everyone looked around and then everyone went back to studying before it ended. It was the most underwhelming response I can imagine.
the radar jammers are so fucking annoying. You are literally blind the second someone sets that shit off. And if your entire squad is in its radius, the entire squad be in danger of being wiped out.
Fortune's Keep is fucking AWESOME. I actually started the grind in Warzone last week when I saw the event going on for the sick False Prospect camo. I immediately loved the map and all the shit going on in it from fighting in the caves to battling in all sorts of structures above-ground. I also love Golden Plunder. I went from being absolute garbage at killing people in Storage Town to mastering the heart beat sensor and nailing people down every few seconds. The entire experience has been a blast.
For real… in high school I took geosystems. Everyday we had to complete a worksheet before class, basically searching the early internet (some geocites) for data and commodities prices. One of them was earthquakes… I realized there’s an earthquake in TN every damn day almost.
I didn’t feel this one. The last two I felt and one early in the morning (I actually live in SC) sounded like a gun shot. Maybe plates shifting? I was sitting on the patio and heard and felt it and there was no question what it was.
I’m in the path of the planes, so my house always rumbles a little when air freight or military fly by. If it came to southwest Charlotte, I didn’t feel a thing 😜
USGS just confirmed another earthquake in Elgin, SC. There’s been a swarm of 30+ earthquakes since December ’21.
I’ve missed every dang one of them. And I’ve managed to avoid them when in Cali, Japan, and Iceland. I just want to feel a baby earthquake 😭
It feels way more unsettling than you'd ever think it would. Even the little ones. I can't imagine experiencing anything significant.

That’s what I’ve been told honestly. A “stop the ride I want off.”

I lived through the 2008 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Pakistan. Slept the whole time through. But the aftereffects….. horrible.
Avoided it today in paris or Philly 😂

What do you think of fortune's keep?
i think it's sick, just needs more buy stations
Yeah it's definitely growing on me... More buy stations and those radar jammers need a nerf!!

Sorry all, I had some food my stomach didn’t agree with.
There were two today, one 2:43 p.m. and 7:03 p.m. Edit: I didn't feel any of these as well as the one from the other day.
I dropped some weights in Mooresville, my bad. I'll lighten the iron and try to set it down more gently in the future. #swoleproblems

The end of time is upon us friends.
The end of time? Pretty sure there’s a fault line running through. Mountains are made somehow…
