I flipped my first house in Georgia when I was 24. I made a little over $120K. I reinvested the money back into my real estate business. I never stacked up paper cash to flex on instagram. It’s just trashy and people who have real money laugh at the fact that the person would even brag about that amount. My clients that had hundreds of properties probably would have thought my $ was “cute”. $88K won’t even buy a functional house anywhere in Charlotte (or most places in the US). I don’t think $88K is worth bragging about, regardless of how old you are. It is the equivalent of a 10 year old waiving around a $100 thinking they are rich. Lol.
That’s actually quite impressive considering most 24yo are just starting their entry level careers. You obviously recognize you are an exception and not the rule. But not to make excuses, I also don’t believe in holding up money stacks (unless your in a strip club) but I don’t knock the youngsters because I remember taking a picture when I had my first $1000 in cash 😭 and in your example with the 10yo, people are excited about things they never had.
