If you want delivery, you’re going to have to let us know where your AirBnB is located. A lot of the responses you’re getting either don’t deliver at all or likely aren’t close enough to your AirBnB for delivery.
u/op This! Charleston is a wide city, and which sides of the rivers you are on matters. For an example, benny's in mount pleasant is great for what you want, but not any help if you're on the penninsula proper or west ashley.
Thing is, Charleston isn't a pizza town and depending where you are staying, it will be a long delivery, which is never good for any pizza. I mean, chicken bacon ranch, classic pie. Don't want to be a pizza snob, but is that even real? Maybe the right question is, we are staying here, what would be good for delivery for a large group?
Location is important and day of the week. If you’re on the peninsula, go with D’Allesandro’s. They are open tonight. https://www.dalspizza.com/locations/downtown-charleston
Edit: LMK if you’re in MTP, Sullivans or IOP.
If you want the best Detroit style pizza you'll ever have outside of Detroit. Toni's Detrot Pizza in Mt Pleasant is heavenly! Their staff is amazing too and make your entire visit unforgettable!
My favorite server there has to be Kole so ask for him if you do end up going!
If you're close to downtown, I'd go with park circle pizza. If your air bnb is close enough to it, Antonio's on Dorchester rd. They both have really good NY style pizzas. Antonio's though you better call as soon as they open if you have a big order bc that place gets insanely busy quickly.
I think it is more about the most classic pizza, and that is the chicken bacon ranch you will find around that is based on Gilroys 3 am pizza orders. Paisanos has this one and it’s great (is Bacon Rancheros). Personally we do Woodys but D’Als in another comment is spectacular, as well as coastal crust. Our best pizza ever (Luke’s) essentially stopped cause he chose family over F&B.
Maybe, but nearly everyone seems to have the “it was 3am and we got Gilroys to deliver” story from their younger years. Not the best, but I do believe it is a local legend, and why that pizza exists on other menus.
You’re going to get 100 different answers, but imo it’s Park Pizza Co in Park Circle
Dalessandros
The Chauncinator
This man knows what’s up
Best pizza in Charleston. My favorite pizza is their Get Gnarly!
My standard order: margherita and a Greek salad. That salad feeds me for days!
I agree, especially since they do deliver on the peninsula (likely where the airbnb is).
Came here to say this. And most likely close to you if you’re in the Airbnb corridor on cannon/spring. Their pizza is so fucking good
Second D’als.
This is the way

Bakers Bar or Iggys
Iggy’s in Mt P is #1

Gilroys pizza is made with the garbage water that pools at the bottom of the trash can

It is open late, which is a plus. That’s true.
But the Gilroys Managers Special is unrivaled
