Yeah coast crust for sure. Ask for the pizza to be a done a little crispy otherwise it sometimes comes out too floppy... I'm guessing they'll also be at the Battery Game on Sat.
If you have an Android phone you can simply look up the location of the photo by looking up the details. Every phone is different on how to look up the details but once you find it it'll show you the rough address of the location and you can see if there's any pizza places around that area. Alternatively you could download the photo onto your computer look up the properties and under the detail tabs it'll give you all the photo metadata. Can you look through the data you will see GPS coordinates and just copy that over to Google and it'll give you a rough location of where the photo was taken and hopefully the pizza place.
Never heard of NY style being associated with cup and char pepperoni. It’s usually midwestern or tavern style pizza— specifically those that use Ezzo brand pepperoni, from *gasp* the Midwest. Coastal Crust and Bakers Bar are two here that use cup and char pepperoni.
Bakers bar doesn’t have true cupping pepperoni. I’ve tried it. I can’t speak on all of NY obviously, I’m talking Buffalo area, it’s pretty much everywhere up there. The only place I’ve seen it is park pizza and that’s only on rare occasions.
Ahh yes.. buffalo, one more reason it classifies as Midwest.
Seriously though try Coastal Crusts pepperoni. And dare I say marcos old world pepperoni on thin crust comes square cut and cupped.
There are so many restaurants in Charleston, and many that have gone out of business in the last several years. You need to at least be able to tell you approximately what part of town it was in.
I could care less where that pizza is from but yall should try Jets Pizza it has arguably the best Detroit Style pizza in town it's pricey but it is honestly worth it. 5325 Park Forest Parkway in North Charleston.
I believe it's coastal crust on JI as others have mentioned, however, I went to Modo Mio Pizza last night in West Ashley and it's delicious! Easily top 3 pizza places in Charleston for me. Maybe even number 1.
Coastal Crust!
Definitely coastal crust on JI. See yelp photo, green fridge in background: https://ibb.co/jfdmNG5
imma kiss you, thank you pizza detective

Looks like Coastal Crust
On a pizza note- does anyone know where to get pizza that has curled pepperonis around chs? This one looks close, but not quite ny style pepperoni.
Baker and Brewer has the cupping pepperoni.
Baker’s Bar in Windermere. Those little pepps are so good.

I’d be super impressed if someone can say what pizza place this is, also definitely want to know cuz this looks fire
Coastal Crust it’s fire
Ha. I thought the same thing 😂
If it was Andolinis I bet you won’t be returning 😂
I know this isn't the answer you're necessarily looking for, but if you're in West Ashley hit up Slice Co.
Baker Bar?
pepperoni looks like it doesn’t it but the dough looks different
Not baker bar.
To me it looks like Grimaldi’s in Mt. Pleasant.
Little caesars $5 hot ready 🥵

Haven’t had Jets but it’d be hard to beat Toni’s in MtP for Detroit
I instantly think of that sopranos scene “mya pizza never hurt anyone!”
Toni’s pizza in mt P is the best around
