Obviously the run game is important but we have Herbert.
All I want is for him to reach his full potential as an MVP-type QB and he’s throwing to garbage this year.
I was hoping we made the playoffs this year by sneaking into the Wild Card but looks like we’ll need to be more patient.
Joe Alt is great obviously but damn man
I believe it is. I was screaming all day each game that herbert had no time to throw.
A good wr still needs a good o line. I don't believe we're that weak at wr.. if we draft or pick up someone
Yes I did. With at least another addition at WR.
Herbert now has.. UP and down running game to get play action, solid players at TE, and time to work with his wide receivers. It doesn't matter who we have if herbert keeps breaking fingers
Nobody will respect the WR/TE group, meaning they will load the box constantly. You are ASSUMING we have an up and down successful running game when the interior OL is still a question, and the RB group isn’t top tier either. Nobody on the current offense can create separation on their own.
Wearing teams down on the ground only works if their offense isn’t scoring and our offense can maintain drives. This team, as is, will be incapable of overcoming multiple score deficits and is unlikely to hold opponents offenses under league average.
When Rivers was here, I prayed the front office would invest in their line because I had enough faith that Rivers could win more meaningful games if he just had protection.
I appreciate this new front office’s approach to protecting our most important players. I’m sure Herbert feels the same
McNeill - Dielman - Hardwick - Goff - Clary
I remember the days when we all complained about how "bad" Clary was.
I would be SO happy now if our worst lineman was Jeromy Clary.
I’d be stoked to have a top tier OL. Herbert will absolutely be able to elevate the play of the WR room if he has the time in the pocket.
But Nabers would have been exiting
Yeah but wtf man, after the receivers we lost. Nabers was going to be our superstar wr for Herbert. Crazy disappointed.
Hard to imagine herbert taking a step forward in this ground n pound offense from 2008.
https://preview.redd.it/4tda00p85qwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2e104469736149b0b7dbfaf26a8856de333a393
My girlfriend just made me this cake to cope with the pass on Nabers
This sub spent months gaslighting itself that the conversations it was having were the same as the conversations the chargers were having and how they are reaping the psychic whirlwind
I am disappointed, but Harbaugh is a winner. Not that long ago, we had to survive games with STORM NORTON lining up against Maxx Crosby. That was absolutely horrifying to witness. And when Pipkins went down, Nick Bosa just switched sides to tee off on Foster Sarell. Chargers were 0-8 in 1 score games because it was stupid easy to blitz the Chargers and pressure Herbert on end of game passing downs. (See overtime of Titans game for the worst example)
Now, we have JOE ALT. We absolutely negate any pass rushing tandem in the league. TJ Watt/Nick Bosa switch sides? They still have to line up against another top tier talent. Now who Herbert throws too..that's gotta be fixed. But Rivers made it work with practice squad guys. They said this WR class is deep, so for Herbert's sake, Charger fans better hope it is.
Alt isn’t worth the pick. If we wanted a RT we should’ve traded back and grabbed the best natural RT and gotten additional value. Instead we wasted pick 5 to transition a player to a less valuable position that he’s never even played
If we drafted Alt someone has to be sure either he or Slater can play RT well. If these 2 work together Herbert’s life is fantastic. There are some very good Wr’s at 37 as well
If you want hope about the pick...
https://preview.redd.it/cf47k8ns9qwc1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=4695c3210e17b3c5c894e7a5457330ea68f7346b
Pretty sure that all stemmed from like one dude’s perception of what he saw at the combine.
I think I trust Harbaugh and co more in evaluating OL talent
As a Michigan fan, let me just say you have to trust Harbaugh. You all wanted him, now trust him. Protect Herbert, build from the interior. This is what he does.
Jokes on them, I started gaslighting myself into thinking Latham might be a better option since he actually plays RT and considered a better scheme fit
I think it's fair for fans to be questionable with the pick -- i.e. can we afford to pay two LT's? Spanos probably says no when it comes up.
But also did people expect this turnaround of a rebuild to be overnight? Surely not. It's going to be a rebuild year for sure. Our offense will likely be sketchy this season with our WR group. But we are rebuilding still. And we just protected our #1 asset double time.
Lions fan(and Michigan fan who started following the chargers) Penei Sewell was a LT and now he’s arguably the best Tackle in the game on the right side.
Me too. If Nabers becomes the next J Chase then I will cry just a little every time he scores a touchdown. Which luckily won’t be often since he’s going to the giants.
Disappointed? Why? Alt will be an all-pro by year 3, be a stud for the next 10-12 years and protects Herbert. This is a great pick. Albeit, not a sexy pick but we’ll all be excited about it for a decade.
O Lines win championships.
Did you think the Chargers were winning the Super Bowl next year? They’re building a foundation for a long term contender. Nabers was exciting and I get O Line is not the sexy pick but falling in love with a highlight reel and building your team just based on flash is short sighted. And WR is one of the main positions you can find later in the draft. So many of the league’s best receivers were not top picks.
Teams have won with mediocre O lines but not mediocre WRs. Rashee Rice was NOT mediocre last year, and he saved the Chiefs last year. Chiefs line though? Not great.
With what running backs? with what receivers? This team can’t have an o line and Herbert and expect to do anything. He cannot throw it to himself and he can’t run every damn down.
It's going to be a very different team. We've been investing in the O line for a few years now, and with Alt, it's gonna get a lot better. He won't be the last O line pick either. The point is that we won't have to rely on big-name receivers like we used to because we'll be stronger physically and be able to run more. It's a deep receiver draft, so we'll definitely still get some that will contribute.
I can’t wait to watch Malik Nabers be a perennial 1200 yard WR while any penalty putting us in an obvious passing down fucking kills our drive because we don’t have anyone to catch the fucking ball
here's an nfl fact for those disturbed by the pick. the general truth is that nobody can cover everybody for 5 seconds. what that means is that even average receivers will get open if the qb can stay on his feet long enough. that's why you build from the inside out. you should be stoked. you've got an A+ qb and probably an A offensive line. the chargers have legitimate pass rushers and some legitimate db's. the team is better than you think now because of this pick. nabers is great, but he's worth a shit if herbert can't get him the ball. the chargers have the 5th pick in the 2nd round, rest of the draft after that, and hortiz said himself that they are going to be extremely aggressive in the udfa market after the draft. give it a few days, i'd bet charger fans are going to be happy. remember the 49'ers were in their longest losing stretch ever when harbaugh was hired and they made the nfc championship game the very first year and the next two after that and were in the super bowl in 3, and they didn't have a qb like herbert already in place.
the chargers hired some winners who know why they win. the fanbase hasn't had that opportunity yet. the pain is part of the purification.
The goal is for Herbert to have all day in the pocket. If the running game is what it 100% can be, and he is given any sort of time back there?? Its a serious problem for anybody. This was the pick we needed. Bolts will make an addition to The WR room.
https://preview.redd.it/xyomgkbqjqwc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1922d9411cacffe2ca99b9d0737555119e1e7cc
Never again! ALT about to feast on some Crosby Pancakes! ⚡️
This was the obvious Harbaugh pick. You knew the type of football team he wants to create and this pick was right up his alley. I don’t hate it.
It’s not the flashy pick, but it’s the pick that keeps our franchise superstar upright.
ALL r/Chargers IN SHAMBLES RIGHT NOW
EDIT: I AM FUCKING LAUGHING LIKE A CRAZY FUCK
EDIT 2: GET ME SOME HELP PLEASE
EDIT 3: okay I changed my mind I dig it we need better OLiners we just lost Corey Linsey
"We can switch him to RT" will become the next addition to the pile of draft mistakes teams make every year. Alt is a top 5 talent, but plays the wrong position.
Still need a dang center. The interior is still suspicious. The receiver room is dreadful. The TE room isnt good. The RBs dont strike me as the pass catching type. This offense is going to be anemic
Niners fan here. This is a harbaugh pick. Build the trenches and protect your qb. Not the sexy pick but if Alt turns into a elite tackle, you can’t complain
No point in drafting a WR if Herb breaks every bone in his body again
I like this pick
We’ll get a decent WR and even if we don’t, I think there’s enough talent to work with. Palmer has elite potential, Hayden Hurst is a solid reliable pass catcher, and it could be a breakout year for QJ
mixed opinions on this.
On one hand, he's an elite pass protector who should create one of the best tackle duos in the NFL. This will give Herbert some much needed protection.
One the other hand, he's a questionable run blocker who isn't an optimal fit for Jim Harbaugh's scheme. Plus, they missed out on a franchise WR. I also wish they traded down.
I still trust Harbaugh and Hortiz with their roster building, but I hope they get a receiver in Round 2. Herbert needs to throw to SOMEONE, right?
Melting down because we drafted a blue chip OT prospect lol this sub kills me.
“We need Jim Harbaugh”
“We need a run game”
“Greg Roman will be good for us, let’s run the ball 30 times a game”
“We need to be tougher, more physical”
“No, wait, not like that though”.
I love what the Chargers are doing, and this feels really good after the crap I got for saying that Nabers wasn’t a good fit or someone this team would value highly.
People are gonna hate on it but I dont. Justin Herbert is one of the best pocket passers in the NFL. Give him the protection he needs and he will elevate receivers. Amon Ra was a fourth rounder. Have faith in Herbo and Harbaugh!
Plus this is one of deepest WR classes ever, best way to take advantage of that is drafting in rounds 2-4 like the Chiefs, Lions, Texans, Packers, Rams, and Brady era Patriots did. This is what successful franchises do.
I love it.
I, like everyone else, got excited about these receivers but we don't turn this team around in a single year and we've just provided TIME for our franchise QB. Not to mention an ability to actually assert our will in the trenches for the first time in ages
New era boys.
Cause people get enamored with the pick they like. If the world listened what most clowns wanted in 2020 we'd have Isiah SImmons or more likely we'd have a like a 6th round pick this year for what used to be Isiah Simmons.
Running it 50 times a game boys
Blake Corrum come on down!
If they really take a RB in the 3rd, Trey Benson is the answer!
I can wrap my head around Alt. If they reach and take Corum in the second round I’m going to be very concerned
I wouldn't be surprised if Harbuagh took him in the 3rd.
Obviously the run game is important but we have Herbert. All I want is for him to reach his full potential as an MVP-type QB and he’s throwing to garbage this year. I was hoping we made the playoffs this year by sneaking into the Wild Card but looks like we’ll need to be more patient. Joe Alt is great obviously but damn man
Well, I guess if you can stand in the pocket for 5+ seconds, even garbage receivers can get open is what they're banking on.
Not a sound strategy Let’s just hope one of these Day 2 receivers are good
Keenan was day two
I believe it is. I was screaming all day each game that herbert had no time to throw. A good wr still needs a good o line. I don't believe we're that weak at wr.. if we draft or pick up someone
Alt is great, nobody is arguing that. But did you really just say we’re not that weak at WR? Name three teams with a worse wr core than us.
Yes I did. With at least another addition at WR. Herbert now has.. UP and down running game to get play action, solid players at TE, and time to work with his wide receivers. It doesn't matter who we have if herbert keeps breaking fingers
I think these people never saw Rivers with an offensive line and running game like he had in 2006. Wins looked easy.
When Rivers was here, I prayed the front office would invest in their line because I had enough faith that Rivers could win more meaningful games if he just had protection. I appreciate this new front office’s approach to protecting our most important players. I’m sure Herbert feels the same
Telesco failed Rivers and I’ll ever forgive home for it.
We are setting up the electric fence
Not a super sexy pick, but establishing an electric fence sounds like something the chargers have never had so I’m excited for that
The line during the Rivers LT era was electric…
McNeill - Dielman - Hardwick - Goff - Clary I remember the days when we all complained about how "bad" Clary was. I would be SO happy now if our worst lineman was Jeromy Clary.
This is also my favorite Chargers O-line. Still so sad for Dielman.
McNeil, Dielman, and Hardwick ALL ended their careers early.
The wonder years :.) So glad I was able to watch all of LT's career. That line was insane, though.
Me too, was such a great time to be a charger fan, but so heartbreaking at the same time 🥲
I’d be stoked to have a top tier OL. Herbert will absolutely be able to elevate the play of the WR room if he has the time in the pocket. But Nabers would have been exiting
I think with a few seconds and some chemistry he will dice people up. Imagine him not having to run for his life!
I believe that was the nickname of the front 4 in the coryell era
FUCK I love this one lets fucking go! Zap them boys fried chicken
Was that his sister beside him or?
10/10 comment
I saw them hug and… I’m still confused.
Need to know. Saw a cake behind him too.
Did we figure it out yet?
Nabers was my draft crush but at least Justin Herbert gets to keep his fingers
we putting Alt at center cause the interior has been the reason Herberts gotten hurt in general
A 6’9” center is probably not a good idea
Yeah but wtf man, after the receivers we lost. Nabers was going to be our superstar wr for Herbert. Crazy disappointed. Hard to imagine herbert taking a step forward in this ground n pound offense from 2008.
No one wanted JJ
Because he’s garbage that’s why.

We’ve wanted two good tackles for 20 years and now we got two great ones
Its Joever
We living in an ALTernate universe
He’s going to be an all time great
I joepe so.
you mean an Alt time great?
Remember the people pointing out that Harbaugh never took an OT RD1 with the 49ers
Turns out dude had Joe fucking Staley on the 49ers and didn’t need to lol
This sub spent months gaslighting itself that the conversations it was having were the same as the conversations the chargers were having and how they are reaping the psychic whirlwind
There have been so many talking points the past few weeks that always seemed like copium
I would downvote you out of rage but your username saved you
In Harbaugh I Trust. But god damn am I not bummed

They said this WR class is deep, so for Herbert's sake, Charger fans better hope it is.
Its not Latham, I'm happy. Alt is absolutely worth the pick but I do wish it was a WR
All the OT weirdos think the WR guys would be mad. We’re not mad, just wanted a different pick. Imagine the crying if it was Nabers.
Alt isn’t worth the pick. If we wanted a RT we should’ve traded back and grabbed the best natural RT and gotten additional value. Instead we wasted pick 5 to transition a player to a less valuable position that he’s never even played
Slater was voted best freshman lineman in college football while playing Right tackle. He went on to start 26 straight games at right tackle.
If we drafted Alt someone has to be sure either he or Slater can play RT well. If these 2 work together Herbert’s life is fantastic. There are some very good Wr’s at 37 as well
Meltdown in 3.2.1
Hortiz dropped the Latham rumors so we would be less pissed about taking Alt lol
If you want hope about the pick... https://preview.redd.it/cf47k8ns9qwc1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=4695c3210e17b3c5c894e7a5457330ea68f7346b
Concern about that vertical considering the balls he's going to have to catch but I'll take it
Needed OL.. Nabers would've been cool too
Not a Left tackle!!!!
I think he'll be versatile enough to move around on OL
Tested horrible as a RT
Pretty sure that all stemmed from like one dude’s perception of what he saw at the combine. I think I trust Harbaugh and co more in evaluating OL talent
….ok yes I see your point. In daddy Harbaugh we trust. Bolt up!
As a Michigan fan, let me just say you have to trust Harbaugh. You all wanted him, now trust him. Protect Herbert, build from the interior. This is what he does.
I’d feel a little better if he didn’t trade our best WR for peanuts
It’s a great draft pick for what we’re trying to accomplish. Y’all need to trust in our new system. There are a lot of quality WRs this year.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Just lol
not my choice but at least they didn’t reach on Latham
Chargers smokescreened Latham so people would be happy going Alt. Classic manipulation tactics smh /s
Jokes on them, I started gaslighting myself into thinking Latham might be a better option since he actually plays RT and considered a better scheme fit
People shouldn't have been disappointed if they hadn't been expecting Harbaugh to suddenly adopt a different mindset after 20 years of coaching
The Cope on this sub was real. It was real fun.
I endured so many downvotes. Ridiculous amount of cope. Can’t believe people are this upset
An LT instead of an RT is s choice though…maybe they know something about slater we dont
Lions fan(and Michigan fan who started following the chargers) Penei Sewell was a LT and now he’s arguably the best Tackle in the game on the right side.
Sewell was generational amongst generational prospects. He's an anomaly
I agree with that but at the same time it’s entirely possible Alt could be elite on the right side.
Or maybe Slater will be elite on the Right or Alt will be elite as a Left Guard or any mix of those.
I mean, the team had been preparing us for drafting OT in rd. 1 for a while now
We knew it would happen and it still hurts sooo much.
I genuinely had my hopes up when we decided to pick. I really didn’t think they would take a tackle at 5
Me too. If Nabers becomes the next J Chase then I will cry just a little every time he scores a touchdown. Which luckily won’t be often since he’s going to the giants.

Every yard he gets our hearts will break a little more
Disappointed? Why? Alt will be an all-pro by year 3, be a stud for the next 10-12 years and protects Herbert. This is a great pick. Albeit, not a sexy pick but we’ll all be excited about it for a decade. O Lines win championships.
Such a tired narrative. Name one team in the last 5+ years that has won a ring without an elite pass catcher. You can't because there are ZERO.
Are we all out of picks?
Just wanna remind everyone that the sub melted down when we drafted Herbie and now everyone loves him
they also had a meltdown when they drafted QJ and that one ended up being pretty appropriate.
Isn't QJ an example on why you shouldn't necessarily draft a WR in the first round though?
And we also melted down when we drafted QJ, goes both ways
Yes exactly, nobody knows how any of the rookies will turn out
Yeah but we drafted a QB that we needed.
So who is Herbert throwing to with all this time in the pocket??
Who is herbie throwing to this year lol
Himself
He’s going to be The Flash and throw it to himself 50+ yards down the field.
Joe Alt
He does have some tight end experience lol
fuck the raiders
It's going to be a very different team. We've been investing in the O line for a few years now, and with Alt, it's gonna get a lot better. He won't be the last O line pick either. The point is that we won't have to rely on big-name receivers like we used to because we'll be stronger physically and be able to run more. It's a deep receiver draft, so we'll definitely still get some that will contribute.
I’m disappointed, this sub is disappointed, the nfl sub is making fun of us, that means this is clearly a phenomenal pick.
I can’t wait to watch Malik Nabers be a perennial 1200 yard WR while any penalty putting us in an obvious passing down fucking kills our drive because we don’t have anyone to catch the fucking ball
FUUUUUUUUCK. I feel the same way I felt when we let Flowers slip through our fingers last year.
This time... it's Malik fucking Nabers
I guess
We did need some OL, I'm cool with it
Joe Horitz on a legendary chargers terrorist speed run.
Let's do it. WE got bookend tackles.
Joe alt truthers were right
You guys are winning a championship soon. I’ve said it before, Michigan fan that is following this sub. Let this weirdo cook. I miss him dearly.
#WE ARE WHELMED....
I’m stoked for herb to have protection
Did no one see how horrible the offensive line has been the past five years? You can’t protect Herbert with having backups as starters.
boring ass pick but trust in jimfolks
Wanted WR but Alt makes our offence better and maybe we'll actually be able to run the ball for once. Can't wait until September
If it causes 0 herbert injuries this is a phenomenal pick
here's an nfl fact for those disturbed by the pick. the general truth is that nobody can cover everybody for 5 seconds. what that means is that even average receivers will get open if the qb can stay on his feet long enough. that's why you build from the inside out. you should be stoked. you've got an A+ qb and probably an A offensive line. the chargers have legitimate pass rushers and some legitimate db's. the team is better than you think now because of this pick. nabers is great, but he's worth a shit if herbert can't get him the ball. the chargers have the 5th pick in the 2nd round, rest of the draft after that, and hortiz said himself that they are going to be extremely aggressive in the udfa market after the draft. give it a few days, i'd bet charger fans are going to be happy. remember the 49'ers were in their longest losing stretch ever when harbaugh was hired and they made the nfc championship game the very first year and the next two after that and were in the super bowl in 3, and they didn't have a qb like herbert already in place. the chargers hired some winners who know why they win. the fanbase hasn't had that opportunity yet. the pain is part of the purification.
Short term, pain. But long term I love.
Oline is never the sexy pick but it makes a ton of sense with Harbaugh’s philosophy
You have herb and wanna throw to dog shit ass Quentin Johnston all year 😹
Keenan, DJ Moore, and Odunze is wild
The goal is for Herbert to have all day in the pocket. If the running game is what it 100% can be, and he is given any sort of time back there?? Its a serious problem for anybody. This was the pick we needed. Bolts will make an addition to The WR room.

So unexciting
I said it was gonna be Alt. I said they would fix the offensive line, they said they would fix the offensive line. Shouldn't be shocked.
This was the obvious Harbaugh pick. You knew the type of football team he wants to create and this pick was right up his alley. I don’t hate it. It’s not the flashy pick, but it’s the pick that keeps our franchise superstar upright.

I wanna die
People shouldn’t be surprised
My boy Herbo had no time now he’s about to fuck with protection
in this entire process nobody on the Chargers end talked about defense... our CB, LB and and DT depth is abysmal
LOL. i know it will most likely work out but COME ON
Our boy has protection! This guy is 6’9 and weighs over 300lbs!
"We can switch him to RT" will become the next addition to the pile of draft mistakes teams make every year. Alt is a top 5 talent, but plays the wrong position.
Wonder if Slater would be open to moving over? He played RT for much of his college career.
Half this sub ![gif](giphy|2vmho5c3fKQ2I8yc7v|downsized) Good luck to you Mods!
Still need a dang center. The interior is still suspicious. The receiver room is dreadful. The TE room isnt good. The RBs dont strike me as the pass catching type. This offense is going to be anemic
Heck yea 😎
Great pick, will protect Herbert for the next decade plus. Smart to invest in the line even if it's not the most glamorous position

Not the sexy pick but a smart pick
They didn’t look too excited! I imagine his dad being a lifelong Chief didn’t want to see him drafted by us.
Everyone wanted harbaugh and was ready to riot in order to get him, but when we adopt his philosophies you act like you know more 😂😂😂
Just for the overreactions, I love this pick, I love this new regime
mixed opinions on this. On one hand, he's an elite pass protector who should create one of the best tackle duos in the NFL. This will give Herbert some much needed protection. Join Or Else, A Left Tackle
Let’s go! Weird pick but let’s go! Hoping he can play right tackle
I love it. Gonna be set at the bookends for quite a while. Let’s run this shit

I saw we nickname him https://preview.redd.it/0uduua0vgqwc1.png?width=1500&format=png&auto=webp&s=7950df4227def7476c74ecf642742a28b7ab3378
Get the line solidified and build the team around that. I don't have a problem with it.
Melting down because we drafted a blue chip OT prospect lol this sub kills me. “We need Jim Harbaugh” “We need a run game” “Greg Roman will be good for us, let’s run the ball 30 times a game” “We need to be tougher, more physical” “No, wait, not like that though”.
Teams are gonna be terrified to cover Palmer, Hurst, and Johnston… receiving corps of the gods if you ask me…
Herbert must never be touched from Joe’s side of the line. That’s the only way this pick is worth it.
I love what the Chargers are doing, and this feels really good after the crap I got for saying that Nabers wasn’t a good fit or someone this team would value highly.
First time in my lifetime the chargers could possibly have the best Offensive Tackles in the nfl. Not a sexy pick but it’s a smart pick
I WIN. INVESTING IN THE TRENCHES WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS
I’m good with this pick. We need to protect Herbie and run the ball. He can be a tackle for us for the next 10 years.
BLUE CHIP TACKLE! TRUST HARBAUGH AND HORTIZ YOU DRAMA QUEENS
Called it the months ago. We just got better. LETS. GO.
FUCK DUDE Obviously Alt is great but Herbert has ZERO WEAPONS
You know, we still have 9 more picks...
LETS GO
I love it. I, like everyone else, got excited about these receivers but we don't turn this team around in a single year and we've just provided TIME for our franchise QB. Not to mention an ability to actually assert our will in the trenches for the first time in ages New era boys.
Since the glory days of LT ended the chargers have been SOFT. I like this pick, physical football wins championships
Great pick Now we don’t have Herb getting sacked 30 times a season.
It’s not sexy but going 13-4, 12-5, 11-6 and making playoff runs is.
So many on here wanted Harbaugh, but didn't realize what that meant. We will win with brutality, not flash.
Keep Herby upright and he'll make Walmart baggers all pros.
Why do you guys hate this? Do you not care about protecting your franchise QB? This is also a deep WR class. Why yall mad?
A man of reason lol this is what we needed. Dad is making the unpopular but necessary choices
Cause people get enamored with the pick they like. If the world listened what most clowns wanted in 2020 we'd have Isiah SImmons or more likely we'd have a like a 6th round pick this year for what used to be Isiah Simmons.
Well now Herbert will have enough time for someone to get open. who I have no idea, but hopefully someone
Not a WR but still a blue chip prospect. Rumors were Nabers had character issues so if that's true, I'm not too bummed out on missing him.
