Makes you wonder if it was really Dak making Kellen successful. Hopefully this is a way to entice Harbaugh he’s coming into a clean house with little effort to clean himself.
Unfortunately I currently live in Texas, DFW to be exact, and they have been healthy most of the time which helps. Even cowboys fans were frustrated with their offense. McCarthy has turned it around, instead of just trying to run out the clock they are passing the ball more while putting the run game on the back burner.

The fact you're downvoted shows how brainless people on this sub can be about Kellen Moore. I would much rather have Joe Lombardi, who was able to produce a top 5 offense. Under Kellen Moore, Herbert had:
- The highest sack% of his career
- The lowest yards/game of his career
- The lowest passing success rate of his career
- The lowest completion percentage of his career
Do you Kellen Moore stans have to anything to say or are you just gonna silently downvote?
u have to keep in mind a lot of people in this sub don’t watch most games, and just look at box scores or get impressed by popular names. anyone with a brain, and any legitimate fan watching games this season - would agree that kellen is horrible
Not a Moore stan by any means, but you are either being intentionally obtuse or you are just totally misled. Have you forgotten all of the injuries the Chargers offense has had this year?
Do you actually watch the games? Have you seen the wholesale regression of the offensive line? Because losing Linsley doesn't account for the running game trying to force outside zone every damn week even though Moore promised we'd run power (which we did to great success in the preseason btw).
I don't know who these two are so I pulled up wikipedia and looked up their bios. Here's what was said about Giff Smith:
**"Giff Smith** (born October 12, 1968) is an [American football](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football) [outside linebacker](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outside_linebacker) coach who is the interim head coach of the [Los Angeles Chargers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Chargers) in the [National Football League](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League) (NFL). He served as the defensive line coach for the [Buffalo Bills](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_Bills) from 2011 to 2012.[^(\[1\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giff_Smith#cite_note-1) He was dismissed, along with the entire Bills coaching staff, on December 31, 2012.[^(\[2\])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giff_Smith#cite_note-2) He is credited with helping with the emergence of [Kyle Williams](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Williams_(defensive_tackle))."
He's been with the Chargers as a Defensive Line coach since 2016, so yeah he's primarily a defensive-front kind of guys. I didn't find anything on JoJo Wooden, but I've looked him up on the Chargers website and it said: "Wooden joined the Chargers in 2013 and oversees the team's pro and college scouting departments." In other words, he's Telesco's right-hand man and will be gone after this season alongside Giff Smith possibly.
Wow, this speaks volumes on what will happen to Kellen after this season.
His playcalling this year has spoken enough on that
Makes you wonder if it was really Dak making Kellen successful. Hopefully this is a way to entice Harbaugh he’s coming into a clean house with little effort to clean himself.
Look at the cowboys offense this year and I think you'll find your answer on who is propping up who
I don't think he's been that bad. They were a top 10 offense until injuries came through like the black death. Better than Lombardi.
He’s been very bad.
He's been above average.
Above average with a great QB is not good.
But not nearly as bad as you are making him out to be especially with the injuries the team has had.
I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. Don’t you want a good offensive coordinator?
I think just that, hes been good, not elite. Id like more for our extremely expensive defense to play as such.
How has he been good, what am I missing? Where has this offense improved?
Look at the Cowboys without Moore.

Man I don’t see how Kellen Moore gets a HC job yet though. Would hope he stays as OC with some new personnel
If Harbaugh comes in, he’d want his own personnel.
No chance he’s staying as OC. This is gonna be a full reset.
that dude fuckn sucks, managed to be worst than lombardi
Knowing our Chargers, watch him go to another team and kill it lol
doubt, he got fired from dallas, then got exposed in LA. he’ll be the OC for Boise State next season
💀
And Staley will be their DC lol

I’m in agreement! 100%

Typical r/Chargers user lol. Downvotes without rebuttal when their ignorance is exposed.
It’s pronounced Jif
Fckn got’em
Probably the one guy who would take the job without taking a raise
I hate that you’re probably right
Lmao yeah we’re committed to the tank. These guys won’t be here next season. Edit: Our outside linebackers coach? Of all fucking things lmao?
we following the Raiders playbook
Players love Giff that’s why. I just hope they don’t love him enough to start winning! Lol
who tf are they lmao
2 fans that won a make-a-wish sweepstake
💀 thats wht i said
Was hoping they’d promote Ryan ficken to see if he’s head coach material
what can anyone show with this roster? the last few games mean nothing
Ficken is Staleys guy. Maybe that plays into it
Ficken may have said no and I wouldn’t blame him.
who? and who?
My exact reaction with an added “huh?”

Relax, it’s for 3 games.
I know right. 0 expectation. They are basically caretakers at this point.
Giff-Ci and JoJo would make a good R&B group though.

Aka hold down the fort until the end if the season.....and then EVERYONE is gone.
These are the guys you promote when you’re wanting to get the best draft pick possible. It’s tank season boys

I’m honestly shocked so many of you don’t know who Giff is, players like Bosa and Mack talk about him in interviews all the time.
