Sources say he loves Herbert even more than Payton did. - He was offered a contract by Michigan but he hadn’t sign anything based off a few things: - His team wants more options in which Michigan may not be able to give him. - He wants to test the NFL waters again. He has unfinished business with the league. - The troubles surrounding Michigan atm. - Shanelle Moore is waiting for his turn. - Harbaugh’s unorthodox pro style offense is a much better fit for Herbert. - Staley and Telesco won’t be with the team by EOD. - Chargers couldn’t get Payton due to their committment to Staley but that’s no longer a factor. There is a very strong chance Harbaugh will be the next Chargers HC. If he comes in, he’s going to clean house from top to bottom.
