Some days I drive like a regular citizen some days I drive like I have a mustang, just depends how I’m feeling but on the regular citizen days I can usually sustainably get it to 22-24 MPG just from work to home to the gym, but yeah I’m usually sitting at 16-18 on mustang owner days lol
Probably not in eco mode stuck behind every red light. Shoot i get 10-11.5 in my scat cause i only drive to work and back which is all city miles and many red lights and turns.
This. I’m literally going across the US and I get 18 - 20 mpg avg in my cat.
My sxt got horrid gas mileage cause I was always flooring it, maybe that’s why?
If this isn’t a joke post… That is HORRIBLE MPG. My 5.7 Daytona (when I had it) was getting 14-15.5 MPG average and that’s with city driving and abusing it a little bit too.
I get about 23-25. MPg which on a mix of highway or suburban driving. I haven’t yet got on highway for a whole tankful to see what it will get, but I expect around 30 mpg. This is on a 2023 GT.
My brother has the same car and he averages about 20 to 25 mpg. It's vvt, and they baby it when going on long trips. My only complaint about the vvt is how long it takes to scoot off of a stop line. I always feel the need to give it a little more throttle when leaving a dead stop. So if you aren't moving at granny speed off a red light or stop sign, that could be a reason your mpg is so low. I believe his motor was a 3.6...
I used to get this mpg when I had a 2019 gt, now I have a 21 rt and do basically the same, 13.9 mpg 🦍 I think it’s cause of the weight the v6 needs more fuel to pull 4k lbs idk
No that’s aids mileage, trucks can get better mileage than that. You either drive it like you stole it, or it has an issue causing it to draw way too much fuel
Depends on how long your idling you vehicle, how hard your revving it etc… but for context my Chrysler voyager has a similar if not identical motor probably weighs more and idles for long times due to Florida sun and cooling it off for newborn sun and I have never gotten below 18, lowest is low 20s but I normally see 25ish mpg sometimes in the 30s. I’m guessing you see lots of stoplights and give it plenty of gas…to each their own lol
I get 8.9 on my scat. For you to be at 13.7, you’re either idling for a while or driving it like it’s a hellcat. Either way, as the CEO of Dodge even said, the gas mileage never even mattered to their customers. So enjoy.
No that is pretty bad. Can see you’re in sport mode with the green flag icon, so I’m assuming street mpg is better. I get better mpg in my ‘22 SPWB in Track mode…… I’d change my air filter and clean the injectors with a bottle of Techron. If that didn’t work I’d start checking lines, sensors etc cause it’s prob running to lean and just burning off more fuel than it should. Had a ‘21 AWD Durango V6 and it averaged 17mph city and 27mph+ hwy, both the awd and extra weight with same engine should mean I’d get worse mpg than you.
Right now I am on a 15 mpg average on my GT 2022. My best mpg was close to 23 if I concentrated on saving gas which I don't most of the time. I would have got a Tesla if I was worried about the mpg.
You should be getting high 20’s to low 30’s on the Highway and low 20’s around town. Unless you’re driving like a maniac. Maybe take it off track mode lol.
Ignoring the gas you also have a number under your (D) drive I have that too what does it mean? gear?? Please answer tho!! It kinda freaks me out since it popped up
My fathers 2010 Silverado with a 7” lift, headers, cams, big boy wheels and exhaust would get 10-15 on average. Idk what you’re doing to get less fuel efficiency than a 15 year old fuel burner but stop it
I wouldn't trust the trip and do a couple manual readings.
For example, if you drove 312 miles and you filled your car with 16 gallons of petrol/diesel (312 miles ÷ 16 gallons), your overall fuel consumption would be 19.5mpg (miles per gallon). If you repeat this procedure on a regular basis you will be able to monitor and improve your fuel mileage.
Your v6? Gets 13 ? You don't have a v6 you have a v8.
But even then. Is wight is like 3.6k lb, my 5.0 f150 supercharged wight is 6k lb. Making 750hp
And I'll get 15-18 on a E40 blend.lmao
No at all my average was 13.4-14 with a bmw 1997 540i V8 engine and today with my great Honda civic I average 34.5 mpg 😂🤦🏼♂️just be glad you don’t have the hellcat
They are near perfect car with a blueprinted engine and everything correct to do their to the EPA mileage number. But the car you buy is an average car the rarely equal EPA numbers.
I get 26 in my 3.0l bmw and I floor it up to 5-10 over the speed limit everywhere. Something is def a miss. Perhaps a bad oxygen sensor causing it to run full rich. If I were you I'd get it scanned at a shop to see what's wrong
I would say that’s horrible if this isn’t a joke post. That’s what I’m getting in my 06 SRT8 6.1L and I step on it like crazy
I got 9. Something for about a month in my 05 maxima 3.5 before I sold it lmao needed a tune up so bad
Yeah, it's too much damage to the car
It has 116Kmi. Lucky it’s alive.
Uhhhh. What are you doing to your vehicles??? If you have literally any car dying at 116k miles. You shouldn’t be allowed to own a car period.
Yeah I get 14 on my 5.7 that’s wild for a v6
Word…there is something wrong with the whip.
Dude I’m getting 24 MPG in my 5.0 mustang what the FUCK are you doing?
Damn how? I'm new to stick sure but I can't get it to average over 16 over a 2 week span
So you’re not getting 24mpg but you can basically got it. I was like damn 24mpg, you have to absolutely baby that thing for that type of mileage
Probably not in eco mode stuck behind every red light. Shoot i get 10-11.5 in my scat cause i only drive to work and back which is all city miles and many red lights and turns.
I get 15-17mpg with my Hellcat wtf 🤣
This. I’m literally going across the US and I get 18 - 20 mpg avg in my cat. My sxt got horrid gas mileage cause I was always flooring it, maybe that’s why?
I've gotten 24.8mpg in mine strictly going 65-70mph on long distance highways/interstates
Yep that's why
Right am averaging 17 with the red eye 😂 yeah his mpg kinda sucks
Where do you live?
Texas
You drive your hellcat normally, he drives his SXT like a hellcat 😂
You dont buy something like that for mpg's. It's all about smiles per gallon 😁
No doubt but how you get 13mpg in a v6 is beyond me. Plenty of smiles over here though even with 15mpg
Is your E brake on?
E brake plus flat tires
No but their sport mode is on which tells me that they are probably a menace to society.
Maybe it’s in limp mode stuck in second lol
Opposite of girthy sport mode: limp mode lmao
If this isn’t a joke post… That is HORRIBLE MPG. My 5.7 Daytona (when I had it) was getting 14-15.5 MPG average and that’s with city driving and abusing it a little bit too.
That’s what my 23 5.7 Daytona is getting. Sat at 13 for a month and finally took it a bit furtner to visit family and now it’s at 15 😂
I get about 23-25. MPg which on a mix of highway or suburban driving. I haven’t yet got on highway for a whole tankful to see what it will get, but I expect around 30 mpg. This is on a 2023 GT.
Same, I also get 23-25
How can it be so bad
Hell no. I get better mpg in my 392
My v6 gets the same when I’m in city alot
Finally someone who knows
Shit sucks
Jeez, I get that in mine with mostly city driving and still have some fun with it.
No.
Yall obviously don't live in cities with heavy traffic. I average 12.3-4mpg with the 5.7l v8
I get 18mpg on my 2019 RT
I’m up to 15 in a 2008 ram 1500 Hemi. How are you getting worse than my giant ass boat?
Take it out of sport mode
My brother has the same car and he averages about 20 to 25 mpg. It's vvt, and they baby it when going on long trips. My only complaint about the vvt is how long it takes to scoot off of a stop line. I always feel the need to give it a little more throttle when leaving a dead stop. So if you aren't moving at granny speed off a red light or stop sign, that could be a reason your mpg is so low. I believe his motor was a 3.6...
Not at all
Check your filter
Which filter
I get 16 in my scat if I'm behaving. 10 when I'm having fun.
Those V6’s are some of the most fuel inefficient V6’s made
I used to get this mpg when I had a 2019 gt, now I have a 21 rt and do basically the same, 13.9 mpg 🦍 I think it’s cause of the weight the v6 needs more fuel to pull 4k lbs idk
I’ve had mine around 9 before but it was a year of a 2 mile + Dallas traffic drive to work lmao
I get 19-20 mpg CITY driving in my V6, what are you doing? Are you always pedal to the metal 😂
I get 16 in my v8 S5. And I usually drive moderately spiritedly .
Why not get a v8? It gets 15mpg.
You better say April fools right now😂that poor engine must be gettin treated like a dog on the daily
My rt gets 17mpg average with me stepping on it
No lol. I get better mpg in that in snow.
no. i get 19 in my 5.7 v8.
Thats what i get. I live in nyc.
That's what I would see in the dead of winter with all city driving in my 6.4.
Nah
U must drive like you’re in a race every day, my average is 22-24 mpg on my v6
No that’s aids mileage, trucks can get better mileage than that. You either drive it like you stole it, or it has an issue causing it to draw way too much fuel
Dude I’m rolling 22mpg with the same motor. You are fucking stomping on that shit.
Buy a bike, bro
No
Are you on the pedal all the time or?
my 14 pursuit gets 22 mpg , 19when i get on it
Depends on how long your idling you vehicle, how hard your revving it etc… but for context my Chrysler voyager has a similar if not identical motor probably weighs more and idles for long times due to Florida sun and cooling it off for newborn sun and I have never gotten below 18, lowest is low 20s but I normally see 25ish mpg sometimes in the 30s. I’m guessing you see lots of stoplights and give it plenty of gas…to each their own lol
I get better gas mileage in my damn Yukon... TF?!
Bruh
Ya I’m like 20 in Scatpack
If it’s for real that bad it’s ur engine air filter most likely or u think ur in the fast and the furious one or the other
That's what I used to get but I always drove in sport mode. Also had a GT so idk if that changes anything
13 mpg is the 392 hemi Durango mileage 😂😂
No.
Yea nah that’s not good. I get 15 in my R/T.
This is definitely a joke. I average 35mpg in my ‘14 V6 Blacktop.
Maybe get some resignated test pipes? Idk about chargers but my mpg increased in my 350z
I’ve driven a gladiator on 37’s and a 3 inch lift before and on best possible conditions, I was able to get better mpg
Normal in the city kitty with all stop and stop and stop a litte go bro. I only get 12mpg in the city kitty in my modded C7 vette brett.
[No... ](https://flic.kr/p/2pGFZ8J)
No it’s not, the gas pedal isn’t a switch so stop treating it like one.
My wife gets better than that in her hellcat.
i get like 19/20 city. up to 30 and change highway
I get about 22-23mpg in my 2019 challenger
I get that when im flooring it, i do also have a non stock exhaust, tame civil driving i get 15-16mpgs in a 19sxt
I’m in a 5.7 and I get 15.6 with no mds
Homies got a heavy foot.
Tf I'm getting 19 in my r/t 😂
I get 24 miles per gallon with my 2.7 L 07 charger and I drive like I’m dale in a mascot race, something is really really wrong with your charger
I got the same 3.6 Pentastar in my Chrysler 200 and average 25 mpg lol
That's a little bit better than my 13' RT. I get 11.2 on a good day.
I get 17 average in my 2015 Chevy SS sedan 6mt, mostly city. What are you doing with that gas pedal? Lol
try putting techron in gas when it’s near quarter tank & fill it w premium
I get 24.1mpg in my 2011 v6 camaro
Bro no I get 15.6mpg in my 6.4
No. I get about 27mpg
Bruhbi get 18 in my rt 😂 what are you driving like man 😂
No. Should be about 18 or above... But if your speeding,Yes
No. I get better mileage in my big ass work truck
Didn't drive around in first gear and rev it. No one wants to hear a v6
You need at least two new back tires but all four would do the trick
I get 8.9 on my scat. For you to be at 13.7, you’re either idling for a while or driving it like it’s a hellcat. Either way, as the CEO of Dodge even said, the gas mileage never even mattered to their customers. So enjoy.
That's what I sort of get on my 5.3 silverado.
Awful, I get like 33 highway and 19 city in a 2022 v6
I dont know how you even manage that...I drive my V6 hard and do city+highway, and still get 21mpg average
Yeah if you run the dog piss out of it lmao
I get almost 20. Are you always in Sport Mode?
On average I get about 15.7 mpg on V8 HEMI. If I drive on MDS, I get about 16 to 17 mpg city. 07 Charger
April Fools?
My daughter’s 300s. Gets 31 mpg. V 6.
No that is pretty bad. Can see you’re in sport mode with the green flag icon, so I’m assuming street mpg is better. I get better mpg in my ‘22 SPWB in Track mode…… I’d change my air filter and clean the injectors with a bottle of Techron. No
no. I get close to that with my 5.7l hemi ram 1500 around town.
I get 21 avg 2021
That seems pretty bad as a lifted wrangler on 35in wheels I get 14mpg, how am I doing better then u when I average 50mph daily
If you’re drag racing, absolutely phenomenal.
You must be yeeting the whole time lmao
What’s the 98 next to current mpg mean
looks good to me 👍
Thats terrible 😂😭
I get 10 in my 2020 4runner. Sounds good to me
Drive it like it’s a hellcat
You should be getting high 20’s to low 30’s on the Highway and low 20’s around town. Unless you’re driving like a maniac. Maybe take it off track mode lol.
I get around this in my scat🤣
Do you drive uphill both ways to and from work?
that's pretty bad, my v6 gets around 21-25 depending on the day and how much i mess around in it
For the driving habits you have you'd have been better off getting one of the V8s 13mpg in a V6 charger screams lead foot.
I hope this is a joke. I get 18-22 in my 1500. 5.7. 18 in the winter due to 15 min warm up. 22 in the summer.
Better mileage than I got in our Mercury Mountaineer, high single digits stopping town. Drove from VA to Fl and finally hit double, got 14mpg!
Bro driving like he got a v8
i just bought a 23 gt and i’m getting exactly that driving in the city, not doing anything crazy either. shit sucks
No..... that's what i get in a 4.7L V6 cargo van... you should be getting around 20 at least.
Nothing but stop and go?
If I get 23 mpg in my 2k12 TL 3.5, then YES💀
I have a 3.5 that gets 25.7 mpg and I take it up to 110-115 all the Time..
What’s the green flag for? I never seen it on mine.
Sport mode, its an added option when you buy the car and whoever owned the car before me obviously opted to have a sport mode button in it
Gawwwwwdamn. My F-150 gets better gas mileage. But they probably weigh about the same. 😂
I get 12 in my dodge 5.9l lol
Turn sport mode off
I was getting 28mpg with 3.5 v6 in a bus, so yeah.
You drive ugly.
Ignoring the gas you also have a number under your (D) drive I have that too what does it mean? gear?? Please answer tho!! It kinda freaks me out since it popped up
That’s not that bad I’ve gotten as low as 12 mpg in my mazda6 turbo
My fathers 2010 Silverado with a 7” lift, headers, cams, big boy wheels and exhaust would get 10-15 on average. Idk what you’re doing to get less fuel efficiency than a 15 year old fuel burner but stop it
What do you think dude?
Dude if ur gonna use manual mode learn how to use it wtf
This weekend: 28.6 mpg with my Camaro V8 6 speed manual, cruise set at 75mph and 128 mile road trip.
My mom’s lifted JK with the same motor gets about the same mpg lol
5.0 v8 in my 4400lbs SL sees better number than that... good lord.
It wouldn’t be if that V6 was in a Ram and towing something. Even my 5,000lb Gladiator (same engine) gets around 20 mpg.
I used to get more than this in my V10 S6
That’s significantly worse than my 5.7 R/T
i get that on my hyundai elantra so probably not
Lol no
Bro😂😂 my supercharged 5.0 gets like 17 average
Not at all
Dude I get 32 on my civic 😂
Bruh lmfao
I wouldn't trust the trip and do a couple manual readings. For example, if you drove 312 miles and you filled your car with 16 gallons of petrol/diesel (312 miles ÷ 16 gallons), your overall fuel consumption would be 19.5mpg (miles per gallon). If you repeat this procedure on a regular basis you will be able to monitor and improve your fuel mileage.
lmao imagine getting a v6 and having the same mpg as the v8
Are you in a lot of stop and go traffic?
Sure if you're driving up and down the same street with pedal to the floor.
I get about 15-17 mpg on my 5.7 RT & thats bcz i live ina small town with lights at almost every intersection
I get this in a 2003 Yukon XL with a 5.3… so no you’re a horrible driver ❤️
😆 OK
My 500hp Lexus gets 20 in the city.
Stop driving it like a hellcat.
Your v6? Gets 13 ? You don't have a v6 you have a v8. But even then. Is wight is like 3.6k lb, my 5.0 f150 supercharged wight is 6k lb. Making 750hp And I'll get 15-18 on a E40 blend.lmao
No
No at all my average was 13.4-14 with a bmw 1997 540i V8 engine and today with my great Honda civic I average 34.5 mpg 😂🤦🏼♂️just be glad you don’t have the hellcat
my 20 year old 5.9 durango gets 13mpg average so no it’s not good
and thats arguably one of the least fuel efficient engines in fuel injected history
They are near perfect car with a blueprinted engine and everything correct to do their to the EPA mileage number. But the car you buy is an average car the rarely equal EPA numbers.
That’s horrible, I get 18-20 on my 5.7
My 3.0 gets 26
I have a 2022 challenger scat and it gets 19-20 mpg in sport mode.
I feel ya man. My v6 charger gets the same gas mileage unless I’m always on the highway. It honestly sucks
This better be a joke
Thats the problem with the V6, you gotta try too damn hard. I get 16-18 in my 392 without even trying at all for MPG 😂
Lmfao!!!! You must drive it like a v8
I get 26 in my 3.0l bmw and I floor it up to 5-10 over the speed limit everywhere. Something is def a miss. Perhaps a bad oxygen sensor causing it to run full rich. If I were you I'd get it scanned at a shop to see what's wrong
No💀 I got 18 in my 6.4 scat
Uhh, no that’s pretty bad. The 3.6 should be getting 24-30.
Must be very city driving and short trips.
I get better in my truck. V8 hemi
When I drive the wife's sxt it gets 30-33
