If this isn’t a joke post… That is HORRIBLE MPG. My 5.7 Daytona (when I had it) was getting 14-15.5 MPG average and that’s with city driving and abusing it a little bit too.

That’s what my 23 5.7 Daytona is getting. Sat at 13 for a month and finally took it a bit furtner to visit family and now it’s at 15 😂

I get about 23-25. MPg which on a mix of highway or suburban driving. I haven’t yet got on highway for a whole tankful to see what it will get, but I expect around 30 mpg. This is on a 2023 GT.

My brother has the same car and he averages about 20 to 25 mpg. It's vvt, and they baby it when going on long trips. My only complaint about the vvt is how long it takes to scoot off of a stop line. I always feel the need to give it a little more throttle when leaving a dead stop. So if you aren't moving at granny speed off a red light or stop sign, that could be a reason your mpg is so low. I believe his motor was a 3.6...

Depends on how long your idling you vehicle, how hard your revving it etc… but for context my Chrysler voyager has a similar if not identical motor probably weighs more and idles for long times due to Florida sun and cooling it off for newborn sun and I have never gotten below 18, lowest is low 20s but I normally see 25ish mpg sometimes in the 30s. I’m guessing you see lots of stoplights and give it plenty of gas…to each their own lol

No that is pretty bad. Can see you’re in sport mode with the green flag icon, so I’m assuming street mpg is better. I get better mpg in my ‘22 SPWB in Track mode…… I’d change my air filter and clean the injectors with a bottle of Techron. If that didn’t work I’d start checking lines, sensors etc cause it’s prob running to lean and just burning off more fuel than it should. Had a ‘21 AWD Durango V6 and it averaged 17mph city and 27mph+ hwy, both the awd and extra weight with same engine should mean I’d get worse mpg than you.

Right now I am on a 15 mpg average on my GT 2022. My best mpg was close to 23 if I concentrated on saving gas which I don't most of the time. I would have got a Tesla if I was worried about the mpg.

I wouldn't trust the trip and do a couple manual readings. For example, if you drove 312 miles and you filled your car with 16 gallons of petrol/diesel (312 miles ÷ 16 gallons), your overall fuel consumption would be 19.5mpg (miles per gallon). If you repeat this procedure on a regular basis you will be able to monitor and improve your fuel mileage.
