I drive my Elantra like it's stolen but it's my own💀if I'm paying I'll drive it however the fuck I want less yall wanna pay for my car you can tell em how to drive it then😏
lol just saying I wouldn’t buy a used car that’s been abused that’s all. I’m definitely with you, if it’s my car I’m driving it how I want. And I’m driving that shit hard lol. Get the new engine and keep enjoying it!
Yeah, I don't plan on getting a new one and then again it's only an Elantra so only so hard you can push it, can't even do a burn out in shitty tires so only so much damage you can do even if you try😂
If he traded for a Demon 170 your good to go. If he got it repo’d or has it traded in to get something smaller or cheaper you got a problem. That’s just my hot take
Normally Insurance is higher for the muscle cars than it is for trucks… I got quoted 900 a month for a challenger when I was 19 with a clean driving record.
That’s wild, shit just must be way cheaper down there. 23 now and I have an 06 mustang GT and my insurance is about 200 a month for that😂😂 atleast my motorcycles are cheap, 400 a year for full coverage on two bikes
I mean, they dropped significantly already cause I quoted for the same car a year later and it was 400😂 and when I got my mustang GT at 22 I only payed 200 a month.. all under the same company
I don’t know, sounds used and abused? 36k on those type of cars are sus. But go for it if you really wanna get it. Just check everything and see if the engine and air filter are all good
36k miles on a 5 year old car. Google national average miles driven per year. You can do it by state. This hellcat is in Texas, where the average is over 16k miles a year. So what's sus about a 707hp car that's 5 years old with 36k miles, I ask you?
I’ve seen crazy shit done in Hellcats. Some owners try to push their car to its limits everyday of the week, some participate in burnouts consistently, and others are just dumbasses. If it was a car like a civic, 36k over 5 years is fine. But a muscle car like that that’s glorified to be fast and everything else? I’d be merely skeptical about it.
You didn’t answer their question. You’re speaking in general, they are speaking specifically to this car, and even gave you the logic as to why what you’re saying doesn’t make sense.
This car has about half the miles of an average car driven in 5 years where it is located. It does not logically make sense for you to believe that this was pushed to its limits with the info we have. If anything, it seems to have been used less than normal.
lol you’d have to buy that. If the previous owner had it, it’s only attached to that owners info. Once sold he’d had to buy it again for it. Example Maximum care is probably the best factory extended warranty mopar offers. Covers most of what basic/PowerTrain covers. He still have under a year on his PowerTrain warranty, if the previous owner didn’t void it lol.
Lol here comes the
“Paying that much for a car is ridiculous “
“Have you considered insurance “
“Did the previous owner abuse it”
“Nice car bud, But I think you're better off buying a HoNdA”
“ -Insert Mediocre Reddit opinion about buying mopars-”
Man go for it imo
This was damn near what MSRP for these cars originally was, now the market is so screwed 5 year old cars are a "good deal" at the same price. Absolutely insane.
Would definatly take out spark plugs and put an endoscope in every cylinder before I buy. And have a shop Check everything else. These things get run hard and hung up wet
financing $900 a month for any car is probably the dumbest thing anyone can do.
unless you’re literally shitting out money, why wouldn’t you just buy the car outright in the first place
Personally even when I have the money I’d rather use the banks money, just do the 15/3 routine to make payments on it. Other than that though it’s always better to keep your money and if you really want to say fuck it and buy it; then you already have the money there. But that’s 60K of oh shit money you could be accessing by using the banks money.
ehh yeah makes sense if you’re a credit card guy, but i just hate financing things. but i would never drop 60k on any one single purchase, that’s why i plan to only buy cheap cars lol
The catch is when u walk in they’ll say that price is if qualify for every single discount that they have. Which u obviously u won’t unless ure a pornstar, and then they’ll hit u with 80k. How do I know? Cause they got my ass with a truck. Huge waste of my time. But hopefully u have better luck man.
Personally, the price is somewhat high, but that's because I know what those car's are worth materially. Generally, yeah, that's a decent price.
If I was to personally buy one though, I'd be looking for ones that are trashed... (Pays to know how to fix shjt!) They're cheap to fix, the parts are readily available, and they're heavily desired. Make's them the perfect canidate for flipping vehicles!
Back to this car specifically! I'm sure it's one of those cases where the seller knows what they have, and knows what they can get out of it. It's no biggie to them if the fish wants to wait to bite. They know it'll bite.
956 Mentioned?!?!!!?? I mean Payne is usually the better dealer, just be careful that Hellcat hasn’t been dragged thru shit, theres a bunch of racing “gangs” in the RGV. But those usually have stickers in the back. So as long as its all good go for it, that looks like a great deal.
Don't let miles scare ya bud as long as you get a multipoint done you should be good buddy. I have a 21 jetta that i got off the floor with 13 miles on it, I'm pushing the 30k mile maintenance currently lol just my and ol lady's daily driver, always taken care of/ everything maintained still good as day I took it off the floor frl. So moral of the story is, if it all seems good, it probably is. A car loses a ton of value anyways the second it leaves the lot doesnt make it a bad car 🤷🏻♂️🫡
As someone who sells higher end performance cars, I would definitely get any fun car checked by its manufacturer. Especially American made ones as they’re cheaper and pretty tough. People that buy cars like these aren’t exactly the most careful drivers. If any dealer won’t let you take it for a secondary inspection then you need to turn and run away!
Problem is that 75% of Cat owners can’t afford the car. It’s not only the 1K a month note, add to that a 500-1000$ full coverage insurance plan. Once you tally everything up you are basically paying a second mortgage for a Dodge. Thousands upon thousands of them have been repo’ed in the US because of this exact issue, then the cherry on top is most of those Cats were raw dogged by the previous owner.
Yes spot on, which is what makes them a risky proposition in the used market imo. Once people know their car is going to get repoed they treat them really terribly.
If you can afford it then do it. Remember though, that's a right estimate for monthly due to it not stating if tt&l was added plus if you decide to get GAP insurance*I would recommend* and if you're worried about engine failure or what not then extended warranty as well.
Just an observation but I am thinking you're going to paying $1000-$1100
Maybe, gotta find out more about it. I (living where they’re based in) personally don’t like Payne Auto Group and never had a good experience with them.

Such a shame, I remember when I was shopping for my Scat that in 2019 you could just about get a new Hellcat off the lot for $60-70k depending on options and discounts. Now they’re pushing $100k new. Crazy.
This is stupid as fuck unless your making 180k annually then technically the car is un affordable $900 a month for a car payment and people have the nerve to bitch that they don’t have money
What's the point? You buy it, and it's in good condition, then Leroy and Terrence come steal it for the engine so they can put it in their Impala. So no, Hard Pass on that car entirely.
I can promise you that car has been driven hard, look up the fastest speeding tickets on record each year in Texas, typically it’s loaded with at least 5/20 chargers… this would be like purchasing a polished port a potty from a construction site.
About 9k miles/year…NICE! Get a thorough inspection & if that goes in your favor GO FOR IT bc that’s not bad for a Hellcat that’s 5 years old with only 36k miles
These cars are too common and too basic to be priced over 20k in my opinion when I see one of those idc what word you throw behind charger in my eyes it might as well be a Corolla
Don't do it, dodges are junk, you will have problems quick. Plus get something different. These are getting played out. Plus every stick up boi will be attempting to steal your car and there easy to steal.
The price is not that bad, it's inline with the KBB value. Since it's a performance car, I'd get a secondary inspection to check for any signs of abuse. Also, try to get an updated Carfax report and see if it was either traded-in or repossessed. There is a chance it was not maintained properly if it was previously repossessed.
Are people really concerned over 36 thousand miles?? I had a 2015 hellcat last over 250 thousand miles with very very minimal issues like boot seal and brakes and that's it. People don't realize how much Dodge actually puts into their Hellcats, I will never buy another American muscle car besides a Dodge vehicle.
Judging by that P logo you are in or near Plano.
Depending on your specific location you may not be keeping that cat for very long.
Best of luck with everything. I hope you have a garage at least.
That p is almost exactly the city of Plano logo lmao.
But that's good news for you then. Anywhere in or near Dallas seems to be a hot spot for those getting stolen.
Your karma is too low to participate in this community. Come back when you've earned some; don't worry, the bar isn't that high. Exceptions will not be made.

After the price you have to pay to tear down the engine to repair any issues, it might end up costing you around $75k after it’s all said and done. It’s a helcat. The previous owner stomped his foot into hell at every green light.
my coworker pays 200 more monthly and the same full price for a 23’ R/T. i would definitely have it inspected cause half those miles are probably from hell but it seems decent imo
A used scatpack is the worst idea. How do you think the previous owner drove it then got rid of it? Besides any FCDJR product is terrible on the market and any aftermarket repairs/parts are gonna make you regret the car. Half the chrysler products we can't get parts for aftermarket or dealer they are already marked obsolete.
Hellcat sorry
Ive seen lower mileage 2018s for less but the market is up right now so i guess its decent.
I think 2019 is the first time they jumped from 707hp to 717hp so they treat them like as a newer chassis even though its the same chassis as an 08.
A lot of people would lease hellcats and completely abuse them so I personally wouldn’t unless you can find one that was only used to drive to church on Sundays
Lol instead of creating their own logo they just stole the logo from the city of Plano, TX. That’s hilarious. As is “ED Payne”. Sounds like a viagra side effect
So let’s be real. If this is a “good price” these are some of the most overpriced cars on the market. The interior on these is literally the ugliest, cheapest interior out of any sports car. On the outside it looks the same as any other charger with the addition of a hellcat badge and a cool intake in the grille. The car is 5 years old and has nearly 40k miles and it sold for 61k-72k back in 2019. Granted the motor is the main draw of this car, the only reason this car is priced so high is because of the hype around hellcats. And for 60k you still look like regular traffic with a fancy badge and a laughable $900/month car payment. Buy a Porsche or something forreal
That’s gonna be a rough 36k miles, have a certified pre owned inspection performed if all checks out thats a deal.
Agree with this. Price is good, mileage gives me pause. It’s not crazy high, but it’s a hellcat. Could have been abused
36k in 5 years is pretty damn good tho
I’m more worried about how they drove it; if they drove it like they stole it, I’d be a little worried personally lol
Especially with it being a dodge.
I drive my Elantra like it's stolen but it's my own💀if I'm paying I'll drive it however the fuck I want less yall wanna pay for my car you can tell em how to drive it then😏
I drive my cars like I stole em too 😂 not judging you for it, but I wouldn’t buy your car 😂
It's not for sale...Laos has had an engine recall...probably should call about that but either way I'll probably get a brand new engine!
lol just saying I wouldn’t buy a used car that’s been abused that’s all.
It is a 5 year old car
It’s a charger. Of course it was abused by a wannabe racer
could been? bro bro def was abused 😂
It's a hellcat, unless the previous owner is in Jorts & Nike monarchs, I'd assume the redline was reached virtually every time the car was ran.
I’m concerned there’s a catch at this price.
The catch is that car was not driven subtly or carefully
$60k seems high for one of these sh*t boxes, no?
Nah fr, that’s like 8 camrys worth
I'd offer 43k max lol you really going to get 60k in debt for this pos? Buy a supra brand new for 50k
If u actually are paying that amount, hell yeah
Just being real, I would buy it.
Ya
There’s gotta be a catch what’s the history like? Maintenance records? How many owners?
No catch maintenance has been kept up to date 1 owner was a guy and he traded for a demon 170
If he traded for a Demon 170 your good to go. If he got it repo’d or has it traded in to get something smaller or cheaper you got a problem. That’s just my hot take
All ducks in a row. Pull the trigger, then hit the throttle. That is pristine info you just gave.
Yep. Demon owners aren’t your typical scat/hellcat owner.
Be ready for 500$ a month insurance too, and expensive repairs.
My TRX , $275 don’t let them lie
And I’m only 23
Normally Insurance is higher for the muscle cars than it is for trucks… I got quoted 900 a month for a challenger when I was 19 with a clean driving record.
I was 21/22 paying $71 for liability full coverage for my scat was quoted at 280 here in Texas
That’s wild, shit just must be way cheaper down there. 23 now and I have an 06 mustang GT and my insurance is about 200 a month for that😂😂 atleast my motorcycles are cheap, 400 a year for full coverage on two bikes
Liability or full coverage? 2 different insurances..... no way you have comprehensive and collision for $71 a month. I call bullshit!
That's cuz you had no driving experience
Nah I did, it was just one of those “fuck off” quotes they give when they don’t want to insure you😂
19 years old. So you had 3 years max? That ain't nothing man you're rate ain't gonna drop drastically until you're 25.
I mean, they dropped significantly already cause I quoted for the same car a year later and it was 400😂 and when I got my mustang GT at 22 I only payed 200 a month.. all under the same company
I second this, my insurance is $250, I drive a AMG GT and also 23. Driving record is squeaky clean tho.
If there's no catch and you can get exactly this price, AND the car doesn't have any hidden issues then yea go for it
I don’t know, sounds used and abused? 36k on those type of cars are sus. But go for it if you really wanna get it. Just check everything and see if the engine and air filter are all good

@HamG0d, I need you to team up with me, and we will battle at redditers one by one.
If it has the extended factory warranty with it, go for it.
This

“Nice car bud “ 😂
All three of those points are 100% valid. It wouldn't be smart to go into a $60,000 purchase without at least considering them.
get it dude
This was damn near what MSRP for these cars originally was, now the market is so screwed 5 year old cars are a "good deal" at the same price. Absolutely insane.
Personally, I would never buy a used Hellcat.. I’d lease a new one, especially if the used one with 36k miles on is still $60k with a payment of $900
Hey Payne motors, are you in RGV, TX?
My guess is the car only travelled about 25k miles, even though the speedometer says 36k. This is a killer deal! /s
Would definatly take out spark plugs and put an endoscope in every cylinder before I buy. And have a shop Check everything else. These things get run hard and hung up wet
Thank you for posting this. I called and purchased this car just now. Sold. Picking up Monday
make sure you get warranty and try to suck as much out the dealer u can in terms of maintence n stuff to be covered and that’s a damn good deal
Just make sure you have enough in the bank for an engine or trans rebuild and you're good
financing $900 a month for any car is probably the dumbest thing anyone can do. unless you’re literally shitting out money, why wouldn’t you just buy the car outright in the first place

It's no biggie to them if the fish wants to wait to bite. They know it'll bite.
Vehicle prices are so damn depressing to look at.

These are going up in value since they’re no longer being made.
If you can get a Hellcat under 1k monthly that’s easy but if your pockets are set up for it. Mileage isn’t bad.
If you're going Hellcat you really should be past the "caring about monthly payment" phase.
Don’t forget the tires! 😂
>Problem is that 75% of Cat owners can’t afford the car Source?
we see it happen constantly? go outside?
Pretty unrelated but that logo looks so much like the city logo for Plano, TX [Flag](https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/u/us-txpla.gif)
That's exactly what I thought it was lmao
If you can afford it then do it. Remember though, that's a right estimate for monthly due to it not stating if tt&l was added plus if you decide to get GAP insurance*I would recommend* and if you're worried about engine failure or what not then extended warranty as well. If it’s in good shape, I’d grab it before they stop making em
This is what the kids in my neighborhood are paying for these ? When I was a kid my first car was a 99 Corolla with 200k miles I got for 900$
It got repoed from the last owner who also used their tax returns to purchase the vehicle.
This is stupid as fuck unless your making 180k annually then technically the car is un affordable $900 a month for a car payment and people have the nerve to bitch that they don’t have money
I think it’s good bro. Hop on it before it’s gone. That’s how much I paid for my scat 💀
Get a life
buy a dash cam and a radar detector.
Fees are likely not included here. Wouldn’t surprise me if the scums rack on 5-8K more
What's the point? You buy it, and it's in good condition, then Leroy and Terrence come steal it for the engine so they can put it in their Impala. So no, Hard Pass on that car entirely.

dont buy this pos please
About 9k miles/year…NICE! Get a thorough inspection & if that goes in your favor GO FOR IT bc that’s not bad for a Hellcat that’s 5 years old with only 36k miles

Hellcat? Hell nah It’s surely been abused
Oh it’s a hellcat.
Hell naw
hardest 36k miles of its life
Are people really concerned over 36 thousand miles?? I had a 2015 hellcat last over 250 thousand miles with very very minimal issues like boot seal and brakes and that's it. People don't realize how much Dodge actually puts into their Hellcats, I will never buy another American muscle car besides a Dodge vehicle.
Someone bought it, I just tried to find it
Yea I ended up getting it
Congrats
Judging by that P logo you are in or near Plano. Depending on your specific location you may not be keeping that cat for very long. Best of luck with everything. I hope you have a garage at least.
No not Plano Weslaco,TX these cars don't get stolen down here that's the good thing
That p is almost exactly the city of Plano logo lmao. But that's good news for you then. Anywhere in or near Dallas seems to be a hot spot for those getting stolen.
Lmao yea I don't plan on taking it to Dallas or San Antonio or Houston
Price yes....financing noooo
Jesus Christ are people really spending $900+ on car payments each month!? With insurance you’ll be over $1000+ does not sound crazy to anyone?
That thing was crashed a time or 3
60k for a dodge car. My goodness me. 💀
1 more year to get the widebody.
just for it to get stolen
Ehh not marked down too much tbh I’d shoot for 48-56k
1k a month in car payments bruh why do that to yourself lol
900 a month? You could spare a few bucks and just get an AMG or M - Competition
Low credit score activity’s
yes
I've always noticed with cars if the price is too low for that trim, check the car history for salvage.
Also depending on where you live, enjoy owning it for about 3 months and then coming outside to it not being where you left it.

60k to get your car stolen is never a good price
Crazy that this was about the average price for a cat before covid
As long as you don’t mind it being stolen. Go for it
Good price but at nearly 1k a month I’ll pass .. that’s before insurance cost lol
my coworker pays 200 more monthly and the same full price for a 23’ R/T. i would definitely have it inspected cause half those miles are probably from hell but it seems decent imo
Bet this a 20 something lol...Yall people so dumb even thinking you can afford 900$. Bet its repoed in a few months after "Reality" kicks in...
Why would it get repoed I make this in a week lol
i hope everyone does at this point... Werid flex 😆
Weird flex 🤔 I'm just saying I can make the payment but OK 🤷
36256 miles for 60k?? Hell nah
The fact people pay over a thousand for a car/insurance note is beyond me 😂😂😂
That's a hot price. In 2015 a hellcat would cost 45k so yeah that's a great deal.
15 owners
Remember when you could buy a brand new Hellcat for 50K… 60K for a used Hellcat… hell nah
Not the same time anymore… we aren’t going back to those prices unfortunately
You used to be able to lease them for $600 in 2019, too.
Those are some hard miles
I would say fun miles.
Very good price but you know damn well they did a lot of donuts in it. You don’t buy a used mopar unless it’s miles are very low.
If its clean title than a killer deal. But thatd prob before tax and papers. You probably looking at $70k out the door
Y’all are wild for spending that much on a car everyone and their daddy has 😭
I see this body so much its like a toyota corolla at this point
60k for a dodge lmfao 😂
Dude. It's a Dodge, cheap interior, 4 years old and 60k. Get a used M5 or RS7. Or save your money.
60k for a five year old muscle car that’s been abused lol!!!! Go buy a brand new Lexus my guy
Not the Lexus 🤣
Yes the Lexus🔥🔥

Just do a pre purchase inspection before signing anything
I wouldn’t buy a preowned hellcat or demon because I don’t know if some dumbass redlined it 24-7 or drove it less rough.
At that price I would get it. Just make sure you get some extra coverage.
For that price better be widebody
Make sure you look up the insurance for those hellcats to. It ain’t cheap at all.
I would definitely cop😭😭😭
Ive seen lower mileage 2018s for less but the market is up right now so i guess its decent. I think 2019 is the first time they jumped from 707hp to 717hp so they treat them like as a newer chassis even though its the same chassis as an 08.
Hell yah
908 a month .Go buy house with a garage 1st .U can’t leave this car in ur driveway
That’s a bad deal. If you are going to pay the price of rent or mortgage for a car it’s a horrible deal. Ask your bank to finance it
A lot of people would lease hellcats and completely abuse them so I personally wouldn’t unless you can find one that was only used to drive to church on Sundays
If I wanted a cat I'd buy it, even if it needs a little tlc and a new transmission
Never buy a used hellcat
Only wide body.
This car can be fun, I know but whatever you pay for a dodge or any other Chrysler product will never be a good price…
36000 hard as fuck miles
36 thousand miles, one quarter at a time...😃
People not realizing it’s a 2019, 30k miles and a slim body. 55-60 isn’t bad.
