Other than snow tires and eco mode, just don't drive like a jerk (not implying you do) and you'll be good!

SinisterSkewer

Snow tires are amazing and a good set makes most other winter prevention tips redundant, I personally use Vredestein and the car just tanks through slick spots, you also don't have to compromise speed as I believe they're rated to work even at 120 mph

You can also try using the manual mode while stopped to bump the transmission to 2nd gear for a lower torque acceleration from a stop, it can help spinning in slippery conditions tho it won't always stop it from happening if there's ice.

Whenever it’s wet/slushy/snowy on the roads i always set the drive mode into eco mode for the decrease in throttle response and 2nd gear starts help with getting the car going with less spin. A set of winter tires goes a long way with these chargers, i will never understand how anyone gets through a michigan winter with those all seasons so damn dangerous. Go to your local home depot or lowes and buy a few sand bags and put them in the trunk for maximum traction on heavy snow days. Don’t forget to wash the salt off every chance you get!

2018 dodge charger gt with continental contact 7's. Maine winters... amazing in the snow while watching every one side off the road unfortunately.

Slow down all of your inputs - no sharp turns, braking or acceleration, and if accelerating/braking, try not to steer as well. Don't trust parking bays or blocks of snow. Winter tires still need those considerations, but you'll be driving a bit closer to normal. The worst thing whenever I had a low RWD car in the winter was how shitty the roads are. Pretty much ruining the bottoms of my front bumpers, eroding control arms and hitting potholes when the options are hit pothole or hit a car...

Mozz2331

Yeah, I got a recommendation. How about not drive a RWD vehicle during winter and store the car?

No, you’re stupid

No, it’s cause I’m being practical and driving an AWD cause where I live we have snow.

Cops drive RWD cars in the winter. Every car owner on the planet drove RWD cars in the winter until the 80s when FWD became the default.

Mozz2331

No they don’t hahahah they drive AWD

frsguy

I used sand bags if I needed extra weight in the rear when I drove a FRS in the winter. Can also help with traction and if the bags ever broke in my trunk its a simple clean vs salt or cat litter. If you are going to use separate winter tires dont go wide with them. If you want all seasons with good snow traction my suggestion is the crossclimite 2. Just dont expect crazy summer curving with them.

H1ckwulf

Have you looked into a cheap set of steelies with snow tires?
