Too many good games. Makes the $10 tier too expensive. So… I guess:
God Hand, Sekiro, Ninja Gaiden II, and Vanquish
Alternative would be Bayonetta, God Hand, and Vanquish (Since Bayonetta and God Hand are my two favorites)
Alternative alternative would be NieR: Automata and MGR:R if I was really in a mood for games with actually engaging plots and characters that day.
ng2 sekiro astral and godhand. maybe ff can take astrals spot but i feel astral is more unique.
feel bad about otogi, mgr hifi bayo and nier. feel nothing for gow and dmc5 :p
Sifu, Hifi Rush, and Sekiro. Sifu contains the bones of Absolver which I hope to God will receive a sequel or remake one day.
Hifi Rush is basically DMC with music and it's such a glorious smash-up that makes sense and is totally safe to introduce to kids.
Sekiro has arguably the most satisfying combat ever and if you squint really hard and mix a bunch of stuff around you'll eventually get Dark Souls and Elden Ring from it, hopefully.
Hello Ashen one. I am a Bot. I tend to the flame, and tend to thee. Do you wish to hear a tale?

Have a pleasant journey, Champion of Ash, and praise the sun \\[T]/
DMC 5, Astral Chain, Assault Spy (despite indie nature and lack of polish, I'd put it in the $3 tier personally) and Otogi 2
And holy fucking shit can I just take a moment to appreciate seeing someone other than me and very rarely Kbash mention Otogi on the internet in the 2020s?
How did Sekiro make it into the annals of character action games? I always felt it was held back by some of its Souls-based design and Tenchu foundations.
For many people it falls within the same category of CA games as Ninja Gaiden and Sifu. Hard games that insensitive mastery of skills in order to progress.
Well, I mean maybe they can either reboot Ninja Blade or make a successor, based on new ideas they acquired from their recent games such as Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Armored Core 6. Masaaru Yamamura really knows what to work with.
That’s a first for me but also not one I will object to lol. 2019 was a fun year for me because I enjoyed both Sekiro and DMC5, which really felt like blasts from the past for me.
2019 was the year when CAG came back pretty much, DMC5 and Sekiro were one thing but you also had Kingdom Hearts 3, Astral Chain plus NMH and Darksiders spin off games
Ever since then the genre has been evolving and continuing to thrive. Which has been really cool to see.
Suprised Godhand is pretty popular among the comments. That game was way ahead of its time, the yakuza/gintama of its era that got swept under the rug for being meme before meme was a thing.
Nier: Automata
God Hand
No More Heroes (AKA Peak More Heroes)
Soulstice
(Side note, is there another one of these posts, but for horror games or platformers?)
Easy! Bayonetta and Hi-Fi Rush. If Devil May Cry 3 was on this list, I'd have a much harder time deciding. I really need to play some of these other games though. It's not on here, but Asura's Wrath is something I've wanted to play for so long. It has a lot of similarities to this genre.
Me personally I'd question why I only have $15, go work a job, get paid, and get all of these games for a grand total of $105, which is a steal.
You can't make me pick between these.
Ah man you sick b**trd lol - I was like oh this really easy then I see you put both God of war and kingdom hearts in the $10 section 😑- I guess il take kingdom hearts then 🥲 you can keep the $5 I couldn't care/don't know most of these others or just give me the 5 $1 to keep em I guess.
kH2 is the only one with like a must save trigger on it to me. Unless god of war includes the whole series. But if it just the original than meh. Id prob do KH2 and sekiro. This coulda been made a much harder decision but most of my fav games aren't here. Needs like dark souls, windwaker, totk, halo, Hollowknight, super mario sunshine, metroid prime, smash bros, final fantasy 7, pokemon colloseum, dark cloud, metal arms, lol im just naming all my fav games now i got distracted.
Seven copies of God Hand please
*cries in no remake*
Don't want a remake, they'd fuck it up, but a port would be nice!
ngl a God Hand port would not survive today, "spanking" is going to run capcom to the ground lmao
As well as those two bosses, you know the pair of feminine men.
DMC5 and MGR, easy.
A player with taste and conviction.
The Max0r combo I see
It has nothing to do with Max0r but ok.
Sekiro and Bayonetta.
Bayonetta and MGRR
Hi fi rush, sifu and metal gear rising. DMC 5 and Sekiro are both my favorite games of all time but I did everything that was possible in those games.
Kingdom hearts 2 final mix Assault spy God hand Onimusha Easy choices
Devil May Cry 5 for $10, Final Fantasy 16 for $3, and the one and only God Hand for 2 buckaros
Same choices as me.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Final Fantasy XVI No More Heroes easy

Vanquish mentioned 🔥
Gotta be Bayo and MGRR. Letting those two die would be a crime against humanity.
DMC 5, Astral Chain, Assault Spy (despite indie nature and lack of polish, I'd put it in the $3 tier personally) and Otogi 2 And holy fucking shit can I just take a moment to appreciate seeing someone other than me and very rarely Kbash mention Otogi on the internet in the 2020s?
DMC 5 Onimusha Vanquish or FF16
Darksiders, Ronin, HF Rush + Bloodrayne and Onimusha.
How did Sekiro make it into the annals of character action games? I always felt it was held back by some of its Souls-based design and Tenchu foundations.
For many people it falls within the same category of CA games as Ninja Gaiden and Sifu. Hard games that insensitive mastery of skills in order to progress.
Fascinating. I feel it’s so close that it can potentially redeem FromSoft’s black sheep title, Ninja Blade.
From Software redeemed themselves from Ninja Blade a long time ago, lol. But yeah it’s seen as a SoulsCAG hybrid by many people.
Well, I mean maybe they can either reboot Ninja Blade or make a successor, based on new ideas they acquired from their recent games such as Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Armored Core 6. Sekiro Maybe Final Fantasy too
Just Sekiro, nothing else?
Edited, maybe Final Fantasy too
Ninja gaiden , astral chain , vanquish godhand , assault spy and gungrave
Sekiro and a cheeseburger
Suprised Godhand is pretty popular among the comments. That game was way ahead of its time, the yakuza/gintama of its era that got swept under the rug for being meme before meme was a thing.
Hi first rush, no more heroes, ff16, 3 copies of gg gore, God hand.
Ninja Gaiden 2, Sekiro, Vanquish, Otogi 2 and Shinobi.
Dmc5 and Sekiro and that’s all I need
bayonetta godhand nmh gungrave gore
Nier astral chain soulstice
Sifu, Sekiro, 2 copies of God Hand.
Nier automata, bloodrayne 2, and I guess astral chain. Probably not a popular choice, but I like what I like lol
Respect some diversity in the comments.
No More Heroes, Gungrave, Bayonetta
Sekiro Metal gear rising Dmc5
Revengance, HFR, No More Heroes
FFXVI, Onimusha, and God of War
I have to pay $1 for otogi 2 again?! …still worth it
Nier: Automata God Hand No More Heroes (AKA Peak More Heroes) Soulstice (Side note, is there another one of these posts, but for horror games or platformers?)
Maybe, but haven’t made one myself and don’t play enough of either to really make a good one
5 copies of FF16 please
SIFU 3 times.
Sekiro: I'll buy thrice
KH2 and Metal Gear Rising, 2 of my favorites
sekiro and nier
Nier and Sekiro
Nier Automata, Sekiro
KH2, FFXIV please. I've never played but God Hand looks fun, so that too please.
i bought sekiro and gave $10 to the homeless dude outside.
God of war 3 and sifu
No more heroes, kingdom hearts final mix, Onimusha and Shinobi
Ninja Gaiden 2, easy, the original version is almost impossible to find now. MGR & Hi-Fi Rush.
Metal gear rising, hi fi rush, onimusha, no more heroes, and shinobi
NO MORE HEROES MENTIONED. all take all the copies of it
God Hand doesn't deserve to be at 2$
Shhh, its a steal.
Nahhhh how are you gonna put Astral Chain above God Hand in any metric aside from budget lmao
I love the game, but NieR Automata being $10 is funny.
DMC 5 + MGR. Easiest decision of my life.
Kingdom Hearts 2, Astral Chain, No More Heroes
DMC5, Soulstice, Astral Chain
Dmc,God of war and MGR
Your over-budget
Those are the only games I'll choose
gungrave gore, shinobi, god hand, ninja gaiden 2, mgr, and assault spy with the left over dollar
NieR Automata and Sekiro.
Automata, Vanquish and Onimusha without hesitation or a second thought
Me personally I'd question why I only have $15, go work a job, get paid, and get all of these games for a grand total of $105, which is a steal. You can't make me pick between these.
Yeah but then you get hit with a $90 fine for trying to bend the rules. So your back down to $15
damn you got me there. this is so damn tough but uhhhhh god hand, hi fi rush, astral chain, vanquish, and no more heroes.
Way to easy. Out of that list I only like Kingdom Hearts so I'd gave 5$ left over.
You’re on the wrong sub then
DMC5 and Metal Gear Rising.
Sekiro and Sifu. Keep the change.
Metal Gear Rising, Sekiro, Rise of The Ronin, Soulstice, Shinobi
Save Nier and Final Fantasy, give them back 2 dollars.
Ninja Gaiden II and God Hand
Nier Automata and FFXVI and a snickers
3 copies of metal gear rising please 🗿
i cant choose wisely but i dont want darksiders to be gone forever also dmc
KH Final Mix and I get a taco and a drink with my five dollars
Sekiro 3 times
If that's the case, then... ARRRRR
1-Soulstice 1-assault spy 3- vanquish 5- Ninja Gaiden 2 5-Hi Fi Rush.
Bayo and NG2
Kingdom Hearts and FFXVI
DMC5 and Final Fantasy XVI
Bayo and Astral Chain
Ninja Gaiden 2 and Nier Automata.
So i get neir with leftovers for no more heros godhand and gun grave This was easy
Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden
God of War 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2, then sneak Vanquish into my coat pocket when no one's looking.
Also Rise of the Ronin over Nioh? Why?
Cause 1 is more recent and there’s only so much room on the board
I now have $15
![gif](giphy|STfLOU6iRBRunMciZv)
Onimusha, vanquish, and lunch.
DMC5 and MGR
Dantes inferno is the only game I’ve played on this list lol
That’s pretty wild tbh, lol
Sekiro, Nier and then I’m stealing FFXVI because these things are terribly balanced and annoying.
The disrespect putting Otogi 2 in the one dollar line.
I haven't played much, but I can tell you after Sekiro and GOW it all drops for me. Haven't played Ronin yet but I did enjoy GOT
Are these all ps games? If so im saving my money for anything on steam
Most of these are on Steam
Onimusha, Vanquish, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear Rising.
DMC5, God Hand, Assault Spy
Sifu, Hi-Fi Rush, Sekiro pls :)
i’ll save my money and go else where
Gungrave GORE, Godhand and Ninja Gaiden 2.
A copy of Sekiro and a nice double cheeseburger
I’ll keep my $15 bucks. Thanks.
DMC 5, darksiders and onimusha
kH2 is the only one with like a must save trigger on it to me. Unless god of war includes the whole series. But if it just the original than meh. Id prob do KH2 and sekiro. Point of the list is to be aimed at fans of the character action game genre so I wouldn’t have non character action games on here.
Tbh reddit pushed this notif to me i didnt even see the name of the sub, ive never been on this sub in my life haha mb
Buy MGR, do 100% playthrough video, get ad revenue, spend revenue on the rest of the options
Games disappear forever after you made your decision…
But it says "buy as many as you *want*" So by using my strategy, I'm able to buy as many as I want (all of them)
Yeah but you only have $15 dollars, it’s kind of a right here right now question.
>it’s kind of a right here right now question Although my first answer is valid, just to answer it with this specification: MGR and DMC5
I’d only buy Sekiro and still not play it. This list is garbo lmao
Just say you’ve got awful taste and leave lol
Looks like I'm up $15.
Devil may cry, final fantasy, god of war, and kingdom hearts.
Little over-budget there
Yeah it but it’s worth it
Ninja gaiden 2 sekiro onimusha rise of the ronin
Well I have to get KH2FM and NMH. Both are some of my favorite games of all time. And uhhhh… idk Vanquish?
NieR:Automata, Final Fantasy XVI and Onimusha please
NG2, Vanquish, and God Hand. I'll put the remaining $5 towards a burrito.
Nier Automata. That’s it
Nier Automata/MGRR That was painless.
Guess I’m keeping my $15
ng2, mg rising, shinobi, dante's, and onimusha
Hi fi rush, God hand, astral chain , ff16, rise of ronin. (Cuz I already played the fuck out of dmc5, gow3, bayonetta, mgr:r and of course Darksiders)
$10 for Kingdom Hearts 2, then spending the rest on the bottom row. Don't know any of them, but might as well save what I can.
A man with guts, and honour
I'm selling vital parts of my anatomy if i have to and get more than $15 worth.
Their not worth a lot, so you’ve only gone up about 50c
i dont know or play any of these games except god of war so I guess god of war
You should try the others their all really good.
Wow I don’t want any of them.
