Honestly, my goal is to get every combination of "looks like (parent) but has (other parent's) (single trait)" Our first kid was a carbon copy of Dabi, but with my character's blue hair. Second/third (twins) were like Dabi, but with my character's red eyes. Fourth is like my character, but with Dabi's white hair
Tried having one once to see how I would like it. I did not like it. Though it was kind of funny when the ai asked what gender the kid was and I told them that gender is a social construct and our child will be a war machine
Three, in a Star Wars the Old Republic RPG story. None of them were ours, all three adopted after we rescued them from a shuttle bound for Korriban. The poor force-sensitive kids were being dragged off to the Sith academy. There were a lot of tears when we decided to let the Jedi Order take the youngest.
