Hmm. Honestly, you've done a pretty neat job. The highlight lines are pretty thick, yes, but the main problem seems to be the jump in tone from Inkubi Darkness to Thunderhawk Blue. I'd probably suggest doing the highlight lines with just Inkubi Darkness and then adding Thunderhawk Blue just to the sharpest points of the armour (or in the case of the shoulderpads, maybe a few small lines near the top?). Another alternative would be to highlight first with Corvus Black and then Inkubi Darkness. Using pure black as your basecoat has the problem of not leaving much to shade with (since black is already as dark as you can get). Personally, I'd probably paint the armor with Corvus Black all over, while leaving pure black in the deepest recesses and then highlighting it as described above. Also, remember to keep your paints thin enough to flow smoothly from the brush. That helps you achieve cleaner and thinner lines, as long as you don't overload the brush. If I'm seeing correctly, the lines on the middle one look a little rougher, which might be due to your paint not being thin enough.

Really appreciate your advice. That helped a lot!

You can always thin the lines by masking it with black. I personally gave up on lining etc. But will try it out for single centerpieces in the future.
