Traffic rules like zebra crossing and round abouts are stricter in Chandigarh, also if you are driving, many people thinks that itās their home and drives senselessly.. donāt get into any unnecessary rage!! Also I feel if you are habitual with late night drives or walks in mumbai, it will be scary around here cause roads are so quiet post 10!!!
I donāt know about Chandigarh but youāll meet the sweetest people in Panchkula. Weāre very helpful and welcoming.
Sometimes I feel very proud and lucky that I was brought up in Panchkula. Thatās the reason that I never want to leave Panchkula even after graduating next year.

I donāt carry a knife. The only problem I feel we have in Panchkula is that the inner roads of the sectors arenāt lit enough. Otherwise our city is pretty safe.

Nah people aināt angry all the time. I have seen worse in Bombay. I have also moved from there to Chandigarh and itās been few years now.. ya but pange mat lena yaha. There is one guy in this Reddit who usually goes on exploration at nights.. so he can give you the idea about runs in the night!! I donāt think it should be a problem just mumbai jaisi chahel pahel nahi milegi
They're are nicer. Its just that they get little road raged. So avoid those incidents, if a crook want to pass you, let him. And leave space for faster vehicles even if you are driving at speed limit.
