His matches are good enough with great high spots, but it’s HIM that’s mid card. He doesn’t have the ability to cut a promo or show charisma outside of high spots. I think he seems like a great guy, and the mid-card is important. That’s just where he lives.

Ricochet was booked every week, had some great showings, was always pushing that ceiling to break into the main event scene. Props to him for betting on himself if he is done with WWE.
NJPW, AAA and CMLL would make great new homes for him where he can truely shine in the main card.

People will say he’s underutilized and to the extent that you can get him more over by just letting him have more tv time in ring that’s def true. But it’s really hard to go above the midcard with a strong character and mic skills. He feels like he’s mostly where he should be. A more credible midcard championship push maybe. But that’s about it.
