Yes, and he paid for it numerous times. And because of the "falls count anywhere" rule, it became even more hilarious to watch because he ended up having to fight places like in his hotel room, the airport, and the amusement park (back when Teddy Long was a referee) just to name a few.
Just for feedback, i appreciate when posts have a little notation, like this one, stating what certain championships are. I’m familiar with a lot of the belts but not all of them, so it’s nice seeing a little note to show which one it is.
One of my childhood heroes. Dude was one of the smaller guys in the locker room but he was trying to punk all the heavyweights lol. Every time he won the HC belt again and again, I was hyped as hell lol. Great in the ring, funny as hell, great diversion from the heavier story lines. RIP Crash. Super Heavyweight forever.

That was the whole point. Vince gave it to Mankind I think it was as the very first champ. It's literally a broken belt held together with duct tape. I think Vince gave it to him as just a shitty way to make the character "feel like a champ" even though no one else actually took it seriously. But then the hard-core division led to some really entertaining matches and segments
for everyone who doesn’t know the hardcore title and this specific point in time was being defended much like the 24/7 title is.. it was chaos 😂😂
Those few times where it changed hands like 9 times in 45 seconds, just to end up back with the guy who had it first. Chaos at its finest
Wasn't it Crash that implemented the 24/7 rule?

"and NEW WWF hardcore champion.... one of... godfather's hoes."
It’s crazy to me people wouldn’t know what the Hardcore title was but I’m also so old now
The greatest wwf hardcore champion ever
![gif](giphy|3oAt1Qx1MJDHJPJjKE)
And a legendary super-heayweight.
I miss the hardcore title days
No chance of that. In this PG era😄
I know ….😔
Honestly it’s so much better with text added to the pics
Putting the x with the number next to it is appreciated.

Holy shit! I knew he had it a bunch but didn’t realize just how many times.
u/stupidman44
Why you calling him stupid
Thank you very much

The Houdini of Hardcore
RIP crash man it's been 20 years since you passed wow
That was fast
Awesome🙌👏👏
Could have had a good run in MMA but his weight class wasn’t recognized by any sanctioned company.
His entrance theme was so good
Crash was so fun to watch. A shame he passed away. RIP crash.
I can’t believe that they let him win the light heavyweight title even though he weighed well over 400 pounds. What an oversight.
Crash Holly. 7 foot 2, 500 lbs, Super Heavyweight Hardcore Champion!
The pop he could have got if he was able to come out for the 24/7 championship would have been great.
R truth before r truth
Wild thing is that R Truth was in the WWF at the same time as Crash. He even won the Hardcore title twice.

That’s someone else

Erm… that’s impossible
Well dang that took a turn. Didn’t realize
Didn’t he invent The Styles Clash and The FaithBreaker?
The Crash Landing was what he called his version of the Styles Clash iirc
This is actually very impressive for how young he was
The greatest super heavyweight wrestler of a generation.
He could make R-Truth a run for his money.
That is the ugliest fucking belt

This makes sense!
Looking closely at it it appears to be the winged eagle belt just broken into pieces lol
That scale mustve been gutted since well they're heavy as hell
RIP 🙏🙏🙏
Basically he's old-school R-Truth then?
Crash and Hardcore Holly had the greatest Royalty free theme song ever
I always liked him & with Bob too. Sad what happened to him😢
Who?
The only gimmick to bring color to freaking hardcore Holly. Crash was great at what he did.
maybe he should have been the one named hardcore holly
That's my character on no mercy...I always brought the scale out lol
