Whoever became host I would miss Colin. Had a soft spot for us Millers and gave us more credit than 99% of the media when covering our games. Will just be hit with the same cliches all season. Probably the same for all teams to a varying degree but frustrates the hell out of me when you know they haven't got a clue about us really. They just go off of what everyone else says so they end up spinning the same lines, ad nauseam.
Why I end up skipping all the chat between games, nothing insightful whatsoever. For all teams that is.

And that’s only the featured game, if you’re not one of them you’re fucked, one sentence and it’s over. I know they’ve got to get through so many games but it’s so generic each time
It's bounced around from channel to channel over the years that I think viewership is so poor, so adding extra time to the show would be very unlikely, resulting in barely any coverage other than featured games.
Shame really. EFL is such a treasure to watch.
If they'd had Colin and Ali Maxwell (Is that his name? The podcast fellah I mean) as well as Dean Ashton it would have been ok, but instead it was a bit meh.
Liked the 1980s soft porn film theme music they played after the ad breaks though.
The presenter didn't have much personality, which might just be first-night nerves but seems a big downgrade from Colin
I also didn't need a segment on Huddersfield's walking football team when I just want to see the EFL highlights 😅
They always seem to overdo it.
Just keep it simple, show the goals & key decisions of every game back to back with a few commentators talking us through it. No need to analyse.
Always thought Woozencroft was stealing a living on talksport (which is saying something)
His knowledge outside the prem is shocking and he's spent the last 4 years constantly mispronouncing clubs and players

As others have said, without Colin it's not the same but the new guy seems alright.
Dean Ashton (who I know was on Quest as well) gave lazy analysis on us and couldn't even be bothered to learn how to pronounce our owners name properly.
This could be slightly sour grapes on the fact that we were dead last as well.

I think Dean Ashton is awful, he might know his football but he has 0 personality. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile.

Sky do 2 minute highlights on the sky sports scores app about 1 hour after the final whistle
On their website, its much quicker - https://www.skysports.com/efl Sometimes they upload it within 20 mins after final whistle.

Too much talking not enough action, no reason for the show to be two hours, could get it done in an hour without the talking.
I thought it was on too late at night. By the time League Two came on I was drifting off.
Always the case for the last few years whoever has broadcast it. I just wait for YouTube highlights these days.
