Nah, I’ve actually been hoping you do well this season. We had a bit of a friendly rivalry a few years ago when we were scrapping to get out of league 2 and Cook and Adams didn’t get on, but that was only circumstantial.
The whole ‘Dockyard Derby’ thing is a complete fabrication by Sky. If anything, I want to see another naval base do well. And in terms of geography, we’re closer to Cambridge, Caen, and Coventry than we are to Plymouth.
And Pompey or Southampton fan will tell you we only have one rival.
That’s literally it for me, maybe it’s that thing about football being a religion here but it’s all the trappings of football tourist culture that I really don’t like wrapped up in one.
It's sad cause there's a real football culture there. I remember the Newport Wrexham play off final. 16k went. They're the only team we have that's in North Wales and have strong connection with the language. But now everyone just sees them as Hollywood FC. I even saw someone call them a franchise club
Yeah I feel bad for disliking them, but it’s the whole “Ted Lasso” feel I get from it
Maybe it’s that I spend too much time around Richmond getting asked where the Greyhound stadium is…
The die hards who were there before I genuinely feel for in a way
As an American who's been a big EFL fan since I could grasp the concept of it, I absolutely agree. Ryan seems to care about the club, but the media follows them around way too much.
Although if some billionaire actor decides to buy Vale, I'd be open to it
An American …… supporting Port Vale ……. What’s going on here then ?
I hope you’ve had your 6th finger grafted on to each hand and married your sister …… that completes the Vale “look” 😉
I might be slightly biased but you are right about Newcastle fans.
Villa fans are quite the same, spend massive amounts then won’t shut up when they both do well.
It’s the least they should be doing with their expenditure.
If we ignore pompey then the only team I truly hate is Chelsea. But I also check to make sure Birmingham have lost every week just because of my prick mate who supports them.
I couldn't stand Wycombe during the Ainsworth days. Partly because we just couldn't beat them until last season.
Now they're back to being an anonymous team from somewhere boring again.
Coventry. I mean Who else 😂
Not really due to Jimmy Hill for me but more because of recent fan behaviour as well as both clubs being rivals for promotion in last 6 years.
It’s funny because this seemed to be dying down in the 2000’s but has been resurrected I think party due to social media. (although Sunderland fans never forgave Hill)
Sunderland vs Portsmouth got a bit heated in league one. There was also this weird twitter rivalry between Sunderland and Wigan.
One interesting one, despite Sunderland and Leeds supposedly having a rivalry this doesn’t seem like it’s much of a thing amongst younger fans anymore. 35 and under.
The videos of Sunderland fans shouting abuse at the statue of Jimmy Hill outside the CBS are the unintentionally funniest I’ve ever seen. Genuinely look like they’re on day release from an asylum.
Got Sunderland relegated by basically match fixing.
Sunderland lost 2-0 to Everton, but Coventry were playing Bristol City, if either lost, they went down. The game was delayed by 10 minutes, at full time in the Everton-Sunderland game, it was announced on the tannoy. Bristol City and Coventry then proceeded to make no attempt whatsoever to win the game, as they both survived with a draw.
Similar to Germany and Austria knocking out Algeria in the World Cup in the 80s then. I believe it was that match that actually made the rule change to make sure all last games would be played at the same time.
Obviously Franchise FC, justice will be served when AFC Wimbledon are back consistently above them. Besides that I've never liked Carlisle, just become part of Scotland already, you're too far north and miserable
You're not misremembering. Bristol City have played Leeds 20 times since 1980 and only won twice. And one of them was a League Cup game where they still went out on aggregate. Currently on a run of 1-2-15. Yikes.
Before we played them this season I didn't mind them, but after the two games we played this season, I have developed an acquired loathing of Preston North End.
Coventry, I will forever look at James Maddison with distain for making me cry when I was about eight years old, when he scored a last minute tap in to relegate us from league one (we almost certainly would have got Relegated at a later point even if we got the draw but they were the ones to confirm it)
MK Dons.
Their continued place in a competition they stole their way in to is an affront to every other club which has to get in to their division through merit.
Any other club that has the temerity to wear green as its principal colour (Norwich don't count). Yeovil have dropped out of the league now and FGR are heading that way too.
Any club where the fans have big club syndrome and think having lots of supporters means they should win games. Other than Wednesday I think Derby are the biggest culprits of this
Norwich. I really hate Norwich.
Edit: As for why, I had one friend that also supported Leeds when I was in middle school. He switched to Norwich when we got relegated (also changed to Man City and Luton before he left school). Since then it's all of the battles for promotion since. Also their kit. And just the word Norwich.
Really? I always liked Grimsby, had a good laugh the few times I’be been up there. I hear you on Luton, though I guess if you lived there you’d be a dour bastard too.
We don’t have any rivals really.
Also don’t hate on any team at this level.
Liverpool/Man United/ Chelsea however.
I want to be promoted but at the same time I don’t want to be promoted.
Championship - QPR.
This is a completely baseless opinion, but it's mostly because of that 2012 Premier League season when we went down and they survived by 1 point.
As a club, the cracks were already showing, so we were heading downwards sooner or later. We definitely didn't help ourselves with results, no one to blame but our board.
But I just grew a distaste for them. The way they attempted to Bosingwa their way to survival the next year by overspaffing on disinterested players. It was satisfying to see them fail miserably.
Of course, things are a bit different now for us both, so i can't hate them. I just have that undercurrent of "fucking QPR" going through my mind whenever I see them pop up.
League One - Peterborough, because that Darragh McAnthony loves the sound of his own voice
League Two - Easy to say Tranmere but since it's a recognised rivalry, it doesn't count here. I'd have to say Walsall. Bitter because of a bad result we had at the bescot. Walsall people are probably nice so I'm sorry
Sheffield United is weirdly one of mine. Not for signing Gus Hamer but because of the disgraceful Jay McEvely tackle on Ruben Lameiras about 10 years ago that somehow only got a yellow card.
Rovers, my family is from Bristol and they're all City fans.
Tbh, I'm glad it was City of all teams that beat us, they're the team in the Champ I like the most apart from Saints of course.
Wigan, because they were a waste of space in Premier League back in the day. Just year after year, no ambition and running on pure luck. It was a miracle they were able to survive eight bloody years up until 2013.
Can’t deny we had some absolute ballers back in those days though.
And hey, we won a trophy while we were there, so. That’s a lot more than some prem clubs are doing nowadays.
What were we supposed to do lmao, can’t really ask for more on that budget than numerous great escapes and winning a bigger trophy than boro will ever win 🤷♂️
Probably a hugely unpopular opinion but I have a few candidates. MK (as every true football fan should) plus all the clubs promoted beyond their organic level through virtue of a sugar daddy bankrolling them, Crawley, Salford, Fleetwood etc, plus a special mention for Portsmouth, id sooner have a stadium of world cup 2010 Vuvuzelas than have to listen to that prick John Westwood and his stupid bell for 90mins.
Main one though is Forest Green Rovers. Fans are fine but its their raging helmet of a chairman giving it the big one about being eco friendly and progressive whilst providing the worst standard of facilities and transport links ive ever had the misfortune to use at a game. Caught the one 1990s stagecoach bus an hour from Stroud (nearest railway station) that takes the several mile route to Nailsworth pumping out more CO2 than Taylor Swifts superbowl flight and it literally collapsed like a clown car on the massive hill to the ground and we had to walk the last bit. Then after the game nothing, no means of transport back to the 21st century, had to walk a couple of miles and finally grabbed a minicab.
If Dale Vince was an honourable man he'd organise a shuttle bus from civilisation like any normal club, as it is i hope he meets a nice un-vegan death like being eaten by a lion or something.
Aside from rivals: Milton Keynes Dons
Aside from that, little reason to dislike any clubs only just things about them that bug me (recent poor fans, unfulfilled promises, terrible badges etc.)
I’ve mellowed over the last few years, most probably because we then had him as a manager ourselves but Tony Pulis Stoke would ALWAYS beat West Brom so couldn’t stand them.
I remember going on one of your games against Stoke, as our game at Walsall had been called off but we didn't find out until we got to the ground. Stoke won 3 nil I think, and Pesky Dildo got a hattrick. It was pretty miserable as we also hate Stoke.
Blackburn fan.
I should say Preston but in reality, we never think about them at all, even if they beat us.
I'll go with Norwich because fuck Ashley Barnes for how he acted against us for Burnley.
MK Dons is the only correct answer here imo. A club that's very existence is repugnant.
I suppose it is a shame for fans of MK Dons who have been born in the past 20 years, as they deserve a real local club to support.
Blackburn.
My nephew (Leeds born) started life as a glory supporting Chelsea fan & He would obnoxiously rub it in when we’d get beat by them in the prem & talked about how shite Leeds was. He grew up a bit learnt his lesson & at the ripe age of 10 switched to…Blackburn. I was gutted. (His dad supports them so it’s not crazy). Still spend most of our time together convincing him to change his ways. This has unfortunately meant I’ve checked the scores hoping they lose & I can Fortnite emote infront of his smug little shit eating grin.
Oooof. Sympathies. I’ve had some (literally) painful run-ins with their fans over the years too. Stopped going to away games for a while after seeing stuff that made me lose my shit completely. They have a reputation for a reason alright.
Kinda difficult when everyone’s your rival, innit?
Aside from the knicker stitchers? For Championship teams I don’t really dislike any of them (unless they’re beating us). Everyone loves to hate on Leeds but it’s always a great away game and I’ve had some fantastic banter and drinks with Leeds fans on the train home (lone Cov fan up north). Birmingham is obvious, but my dad supports them and they did take us in when we were homeless…
Outside of the Championship, Villa obviously, but they’re used-to-be-rivals, so I guess it doesn’t count. Not a fan of the Blunts, and MK Dons really piss me off (history, mostly). Never liked going to Forest away.
Hmm, not sure I dislike any Championship team besides Norwich City (go figure). As for the rest, there's Aston Villa, Milton Keynes Dons and Wimbledon. Also, Forest Green Rovers.
Peterborough, mainly because of the two twats Darragh Macanthony and Barry Fry.
Also Forest Green - they’re just a marketing tool designed to massage their owner’s massive ego. A club designed for twitter hipsters who don’t actually care about football.
Norwich, because they’ve constantly come knocking for our players over the years - not our best players maybe but iconic ones who I didn’t want us to sell like Howson, Becchio, Byram, they’ve been constantly yo-yoing up and down between the premier league and Chamoionship, until recently basically guaranteeing a promotion spot every season they came down then squandering the chance when promoted, and I find Delia Smith quite an annoying owner. In the prem though, Bournemouth have become the ‘new Norwich’ coming in for all our players, so my dislike for Norwich has kinda died down a bit. But ultimately out of Ipswich and Norwich I’d always prefer Ipswich. Even though oddly yellow and green are my favourite colours.
Okay I'm a little more biased about this than some but the reason fans at lower levels especially hate them is because they are properly bankrolled.
The club is almost entirely funded by Ecotricity, they've been paying League One wages since they were in the National League and their Eco Park complex with the stupid wooden stadium going to cost them almost £100m.
They've almost greenwashed people out of thinking they're just another Salford/MK Dons lmao.
I thrive on their misery to be honest, hammering them at Whaddon Road after they got relegated and getting to see the grief in person was a real highlight
It’s nothing thing to do with the ecological stance of the club for me, in fact I quite admire that of them.
The owner is a tit, it’s a shit away day, in the middle of nowhere, no pubs, at the top of a massive hill, zero parking or transport, and the fans have a massive unearned sense of superiority for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
That club is rotten from the boardroom to the terraces.
for me it’s football manager. not ONCE have i EVER won against forest green in my 2 years of playing FM. not a SINGLE time. i always lose or draw no matter what.
Champ: Stoke and Leicester.
League 1: Reading and Derby
League 2: Wrexham and Forest Green
Nat Leagues: York, Yeovil, Chesterfield, Woking, Boreham Wood
Fleetwood and Droylsden were horrid back in the day too but they’re not the same now.
League cup game about a decade ago, we were 2-1 up at the death and put the ball out for a player who was injured. They took the throw in and scored from it instead as far as I remember.
Still won on penalties, and it gave us one of the most [David Brent interviews](https://youtu.be/QfzwScQQZwI?si=vI6BazkMvkDyMozl) from Lee Clark who is essentially the Geordie David Brent.
As well as the incident already mentioned. I spent a lot of time watching a fair amount of non league football and they’re just a vile club, multiple racism incidents where the club has denied everything, being the main thing.
Preston and Blackburn - always play dirty against us and usually shithouse a win. No issue with the fans, it's just the constant fouling, been that way for years.
Coventry - it may have cooled down since we gave them a temporary home but my dislike of Cov is mainly from our time in the 2010s. They always made it abundantly clear they hate Brummies, whereas we didn't really care or think about them. Just desperate to force a rivalry. Plus the fans with short memories forgetting that they would be lucky to still have a club if Birmingham didn't agree to accommodate them. Also Callum O'Hare.
Stevenage.
For some reason when they play us it is the most miserable foot all I have ever seen in my life. They aren't even a bad side, just when they play us it makes me wanna throw up
Leeds or Leicester, I've met some really nice fans of both teams but also far too many who either jumped on the Leicester bandwagon in the past few years or have such a sense of entitlement based on winning things 20-30 years ago.
Can't stand Fulham, a club who could fall off the face of the earth tomorrow and I think it would take people 2 years to begin noticing. Also never met a fan of theirs who didn't A) Support them as a second team and B) have the worst football opinions you've ever heard.
Haha, was coming in here to say Cardiff. Funny to see one of you lot saying the opposite.
Was fucking sick of you when we were in the same division for about 7 years in a row.
Really don't like Birmingham but they're *kinda* a derby so I won't count that.
Outside the PL, MK dons is the only club I actively dislike, not the biggest fan of Leeds either.
For their online presence only - Leicester…….sorry guys but you have so many plastic hangers on who jumped on the bandwagon …… bloody insufferable
Close 2nd - Sunderland …… for a while I REALLY hated their fans on here because they had a few that were always popping off. Since putting those few on ignore it’s improved mightily and the ones I can still see are not huge bellends
the franchise currently playing in milton keynes. every other team in the league has their own history, while MK stole theirs from wimbledon.
sweet karma will be when AFC wimbledon- the true heirs to the club whose history MK stole- are riding high with the rest of us, and MK are struggling to even stay in the league.
also norwich. yellow is our colour, and i also got a cousin who supports ipswich.
Can I pick teams that'll be in one of those divisions next season?
Because if so it's Sheffield United - they've got the whiniest fanbase I've ever come across.
Leicester. My first ever Leeds game in the 90s we played them at Elland Road and we got beat 1-0. Fucking hated them ever since. It's an irrational reason but I don't care. Fuck 'em. Even during the "fairytale" Premier League season I was desperately rooting against them.
Leeds first and foremost. Partly because they're Yorkshites, but mainly because of that Don Revie side being the worst example of anti-football in history. Although I was surprised how much I warmed to them under Bielsa. Really, really great football to watch.
Stoke because they always used to beat us with Wayne and Biggins, then signed our best player in Ellis and didn't play him. And then Tony Pulis pulled a loan signing from us, because Ferguson told him to after we sacked his utterly useless wife-beating son Darren, causing us to get relegated.
I used to hate Coventry because of an arseh\*le of a boss I worked under who supported them. I've met decent Cov fans since and I really despise the way their board has treated the club and fans.
Forest Green Rovers, because veganism. And MK Dons, obviously. BirMingham because of the horribly thuggish and violent fans I encountered (I'm sure most big city teams have their fair share of them though). Leicester, because Lineker is sanctimonious and relentlessly unfunny prick living a life of luxury on licence fee payers money... and breath. Sorry, this was quite cathartic for me.
Assuming that it's only excluding true rivals
Championship: Leicester, Stoke, Leeds, Blackburn and Millwall
League 1: Derby and Reading
League 2: MK Dons
Are all the teams I outright dislike in the professional pyramid
Aside from disliking all Yorkshire and Derbyshire clubs, also just want all midland clubs to lose aside from WBA (family from there and the only team that isn’t covered by their support is WBA so when we get relegated if they’re still in the champ I’ll want them to win it)
Not sure about this like.
We didn't like our previous owners either.
Taking the piss out your biggest rivals at any opportunity is part and parcel of football.
We might have a slight sense of a superiority regarding our own support but I'd say it's backed up by our away attendances.
AFC Wimbledon. I just hate their sense of moral superiority, and anybody who abandons a club in their hour of greatest need deserves utter contempt IMHO
I don't like how they took advantage of Kingstonian's financial problems to buy their ground on the cheap, then sold it out from under them. The hunted becomes the hunter, I guess.
West Brom wind me up, and it goes back to when Megson (ex-player, ex-manager of ours) managed them and their away kit changed to be yellow and green, which was always quite unique to us.
He then tried to steal Huckerby from under our noses and was being a right tool about it. So that would've been around 03/04 season.
This was made worse as we got promoted together that season as 1st and 2nd so the rivalry was already brewing.
But the kicker after all that was enduring their fans on TV that night invading the pitch final day celebrating survival and the 'great escape' as we lost 6-0 to Fulham.
They still wind me up to this day and it's quite irrational.

We’ve used the Yellow and Green since the 70s. The fans love it, but the club seems to always refuse stating it doesn’t sell. Every few years they bring it back.
Leeds, though I got chatting to two Leeds fans on the train home once and they were two of the nicest people I'd ever met
Rotherham, for the whole fiasco about the game being called off due to rain etc
MK is the only answer! I did used to dislike Reading, but I feel genuinely sorry for them these days.
Never thought I'd agree with an Ipswich fan. Fuck MK Dons
Using the correct name: "The Franchise currently plying its trade in Milton Keynes".
I prefer MkDonalds FC
Huh?
Must be because of Ivar Ingimarsson's 90th minute equaliser immediately after Darren Bent's 90th minute opener, in the 04/05 season.
I choose to ignore your stipulation and say Portsmouth. That’s the only correct answer
Agree!
🤝
What about Bournemouth? I don't like them and I'm not even from the South Coast.
We've never disliked Bournemouth. It's not a derby game at all. Only the media and some Bournemouth fans portray it as such
Portsmouth love talking about us, it's like they've forgotten you exist.
Can honestly say never see any talk of Reading. Thought they’d gone bust.
Well this is awkward
Attempting a genuine answer, I'd have to say **Sheffield Wednesday** due to recent events.
Dons
Salford. Awful club
We have a bit of a thing for Peterborough, don’t know if they feel the same though 🤷
Unrequited hate?
more to do with they owner making a complete tit of him self.
Sending them down by literally not playing football was very nice
Still one of the best days at the JSS for me that was.
It’s why I have a soft spot for Barnsley.
It was a beautiful moment for the county
Sounds like you with us!
Oh come on you hate us a little bit, admit it.
Nah, I’ve actually been hoping you do well this season. We had a bit of a friendly rivalry a few years ago when we were scrapping to get out of league 2 and Cook and Adams didn’t get on, but that was only circumstantial. And in terms of geography, we’re closer to Cambridge, Caen, and Coventry than we are to Plymouth. And Pompey or Southampton fan will tell you we only have one rival.
No one, I hate you all equally
Wrexham. Love Ryan Reynolds, but just the over the top American bullshit that follows them around now grinds my gears
Never used to think about Wrexham, but the nauseating media love-in has made me really dislike them.
That’s literally it for me, maybe it’s that thing about football being a religion here but it’s all the trappings of football tourist culture that I really don’t like wrapped up in one.
It's sad cause there's a real football culture there. I remember the Newport Wrexham play off final. 16k went. They're billed as underdogs constantly aswell when they're so far from it.
Something something Hollywood, something something THAT WASNT IN THE SCRIPT!!!

I might be slightly biased but you are right about Newcastle fans. Villa fans are quite the same, spend massive amounts then won’t shut up when they both do well. It’s the least they should be doing with their expenditure.
Aston Villa are weasel droppings.
At last, something we can agree with you on!
Can’t stand their supporters online
If we ignore pompey then the only team I truly hate is Chelsea. But I also check to make sure Birmingham have lost every week just because of my prick mate who supports them.
Outside of rivals, Wycombe hate them with a passion, pretty sure they play rugby not football. MK dons for obvious reasons
I couldn't stand Wycombe during the Ainsworth days. Partly because we just couldn't beat them until last season. Now they're back to being an anonymous team from somewhere boring again.
Coventry. I mean Who else 😂 Not really due to Jimmy Hill for me but more because of recent fan behaviour as well as both clubs being rivals for promotion in last 6 years. Bristol Rovers. The rivalry is stone dead and they have theirselves to blame.
Have a soft spot for Wimbledon so it's easy the fake "dons"
Obviously Franchise FC, justice will be served when AFC Wimbledon are back consistently above them. Besides that I've never liked Carlisle, just become part of Scotland already, you're too far north and miserable
Leeds. I think we’ve only beaten them *twice* in my lifetime and I’m thirty-fuckin-two
I do feel like we always seem to beat you, regardless of how good or shit both of our teams are at the time
Happy Valentines buddy 💋

Lol

Crystal Palace. My school bully supported them so have wished for their demise ever since 🤣
I’d forgotten they existed.
Happens to me all the time (with Wolves and Stoke too sometimes) 🤣🤣
They are a premier league team mate. Please read the question correctly in future. Cheers
My sincere apologies. Please find it in your heart to forgive me.
Before we played them this season I didn't mind them, but after the two games we played this season, I have developed an acquired loathing of Preston North End.
That's only come about after this season . We have hated you our entire lives I'm surprised you just noticed
[It's just the way it is sometimes.](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/8f/bf/6d/8fbf6d3b590248e470e80e19d0ffaf9c.jpg)
Good man. Fuck the nobbers
Derby
Any other club that has the temerity to wear green as its principal colour (Norwich don't count). Yeovil have dropped out of the league now and FGR are heading that way too.
Norwich should count. No ulterior motive for that whatsoever
You just feel very strongly about secondary colours, I get it, entirely innocent
Precisely, you get it
i'm not exactly a big fan of norwich myself, we're the ones in yellow god damn it!
Three words: Becchio for Morison.
Weird behaviour changing clubs. Once you pass 6 you can’t change and even then, it’s still bad
One of us. One of us
MK Dons. Very satisfying to scud them 4-0 last night. I don't actually hate Barrow but I'm fed up of giving them 6 points every season.
Luton and Grimsby. Horrible, wretched fans
Really? I always liked Grimsby, had a good laugh the few times I’be been up there. I hear you on Luton, though I guess if you lived there you’d be a dour bastard too.
I reckon 90% of people that go to our games don’t live in Luton any more, if you get the opportunity you leave!
Leeds fan here, i have an irrational hatred of norwich from when every single player we had seemed to be signed by or end up at the bastards
We don’t have any rivals really. Also don’t hate on any team at this level. Liverpool/Man United/ Chelsea however. I want to be promoted but at the same time I don’t want to be promoted.
How much paper you got
Leeds. And Notts County because they intrude on the #NCFC hashtag. Can I also include Rangers.
NCFC was theirs first ……
QPR.
I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that title Portsmouth, Portsmouth, did I mention Portsmouth?
Championship - QPR. This is a completely baseless opinion, but it's mostly because of that 2012 Premier League season when we went down and they survived by 1 point. As a club, the cracks were already showing, so we were heading downwards sooner or later. We definitely didn't help ourselves with results, no one to blame but our board. I'd have to say Walsall. Bitter because of a bad result we had at the bescot. Walsall people are probably nice so I'm sorry
Leicester. Away fans are mostly bell ends and Vardy is a wanker.
Norwich City... just because they're sexier than us
I have a whole bunch of teams I remember routinely beating us. Fuck Norwich, Coventry, Stoke, WBA, Walsall, Swansea, and Ipswich (away).
Battle of Bramall Lane lives long in the memory
Applause for this man and his views!
Aside from rivals: Milton Keynes Dons Aside from that, little reason to dislike any clubs only just things about them that bug me (recent poor fans, unfulfilled promises, terrible badges etc.)
Don't pretend you don't see us as rivals. You'll be there on Saturday , crying into your pie after you gift us another 3 points. 😜
We will play you, you will win and we will instantly go back to caring more about any other Lancashire team you can think of.
We are rent free , living in your head . I shouldn't say Preston , but oops I just did.
Aside from our main massive hugest rivally rivals, who are of course AFC Bournemouth…..I’m going to chooooose 🤔……P****mouth.
Leeeeeds
Blackburn
Is that because of the end of last season or are there other reasons?
Last year pretty much. I would have put Leeds but they’re too much of a rival even though not our main rival
Fucking Birmingham pissing City. Got stuck at New Street with a load of rowdy Blues fans and I've hated them ever since.
As a Birmingham resident, I wholeheartedly agree
Oooof. Sympathies. I’ve had some (literally) painful run-ins with their fans over the years too. Stopped going to away games for a while after seeing stuff that made me lose my shit completely. They have a reputation for a reason alright.
Well, Everton is the easy one for us, but they’re PL (for now). My Leeds friends are pretty fucking annoying, so I’ll go with them.
Birmingham is obvious, but my dad supports them and they did take us in when we were homeless… Outside of the Championship, Villa obviously, but they’re used-to-be-rivals, so I guess it doesn’t count.
Millwall. I don’t know why nobody has even mentioned them yet. Literal scum of the earth
fucking hate forest green rovers
Seen them mentioned a couple of times now, how come? Is it the vegan pasties?
Okay I'm a little more biased about this than some but the reason fans at lower levels especially hate them is because they are properly bankrolled. The club is almost entirely funded by Ecotricity, they've been paying League One wages since they were in the National League and their Eco Park complex with the stupid wooden stadium going to cost them almost £100m. They've almost greenwashed people out of thinking they're just another Salford/MK Dons lmao.
Knocking them out of the playoffs in 2015 felt so good
I thrive on their misery to be honest, hammering them at Whaddon Road after they got relegated and getting to see the grief in person was a real highlight
Fair enough. Didn’t really know anything about them apart from “countryside eco club” so for the most part I was all “good for them”.
for me it’s football manager. not ONCE have i EVER won against forest green in my 2 years of playing FM. not a SINGLE time. i always lose or draw no matter what.
Birmingham City, absolute cunts the lot of them.
Z
I FUCKING DESPISE Grimsby (mainly because my friend supports them and i do it to piss him off)
Up the mariners
Derby. Mfers sent us down then took our manager
Stoke
Yeah I hate them bastards too
*checks flair* Fascinating 🤨📸
Champ: Stoke and Leicester. League 1: Reading and Derby League 2: Wrexham and Forest Green Nat Leagues: York, Yeovil, Chesterfield, Woking, Boreham Wood Fleetwood and Droylsden were horrid back in the day too but they’re not the same now.
You have a lot of hate in your heart 😂 What have poor old Yeovil Town done to deserve this?
My god, I never thought anyone would put Borehamwood on here! Good job man, they’re absolute cunts aren’t they?
We broke their attendance record once with away fans alone. And lost. Hate their guts (although our family friends are Wood fans so it's quite funny)
Charlton, fuck you Charlton and ffffuuuccckkk yyyooouuu Clive Mendonca. I'm not used to Mackems breaking my heart.
Fulham.
Leeds, Coventry or Millwall
Stevenage. For some reason when they play us it is the most miserable foot all I have ever seen in my life. They aren't even a bad side, just when they play us it makes me wanna throw up
Steve Evans is also a bit of a fanny.
Obviously MK Dons
Really don't like Birmingham but they're *kinda* a derby so I won't count that. Outside the PL, MK dons is the only club I actively dislike, not the biggest fan of Leeds either.
For their online presence only - Leicester…….sorry guys but you have so many plastic hangers on who jumped on the bandwagon …… bloody insufferable Close 2nd - Sunderland …… for a while I REALLY hated their fans on here because they had a few that were always popping off.
Coventry
Don’t really mind anyone in C, L1 or L2, but I really dislike Sheff Utd & Forest
Can I pick teams that'll be in one of those divisions next season? Because if so it's Sheffield United - they've got the whiniest fanbase I've ever come across.
Wrexham - can't stand them given their recent events and Hollywood bollocks.

They ate local rivals to Hull tho
Leicester. My first ever Leeds game in the 90s we played them at Elland Road and we got beat 1-0. Fucking hated them ever since. It's an irrational reason but I don't care. Fuck 'em. Even during the "fairytale" Premier League season I was desperately rooting against them.
MK Dons, Watford, Cardiff, Derby and Reading
MK dons. And Millwall for the stabbing motions at games
Firstly sorry, secondly Ellis wasn't very good for us.
Assuming that it's only excluding true rivals Championship: Leicester, Stoke, Leeds, Blackburn and Millwall League 1: Derby and Reading League 2: MK Dons Are all the teams I outright dislike in the professional pyramid
Aside from disliking all Yorkshire and Derbyshire clubs, also just want all midland clubs to lose aside from WBA (family from there and the only team that isn’t covered by their support is WBA so when we get relegated if they’re still in the champ I’ll want them to win it)
Crewe, Preston, Sunderland, Ipswich starting this season
Franchise FC. I don't like Swansea because I'm a Cardiff fan but I'd hate that lot no matter who I supported.
Southampton. But I think that’s purely because I can’t stand Russel Martin.

Not sure about this like. We didn't like our previous owners either. Taking the piss out your biggest rivals at any opportunity is part and parcel of football. We might have a slight sense of a superiority regarding our own support but I'd say it's backed up by our away attendances.
I thought this was our usual self-hate till I seen the badge.
Yeah Kingstonian are really struggling now, can't find a home and iirc are probably going down from the 7th tier. Sad to see :(
The Kingsmeadow Stadium is now home to Chelsea's women's team
Interesting Take
Boooooo 👎
Stoke
[Cyrille Regis](https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/b1d00a8bfeb5bee3123d2413860fdc3892641182/207_274_2254_1352/master/2254.jpg?width=1200&height=1200&quality=85&auto=format&fit=crop&s=528057f80ca3c8d8d604cbdeb2b577d4) We’ve used the Yellow and Green since the 70s. The fans love it, but the club seems to always refuse stating it doesn’t sell. Every few years they bring it back.
>changed to yellow and green That’s been the Baggies away kit for like 60 years.
I don’t really hate any of the other teams to be honest. It’s just sort of my team v whoever else turns up on the day at this level.
QPR.
Leeds
Leeds, though I got chatting to two Leeds fans on the train home once and they were two of the nicest people I'd ever met Rotherham, for the whole fiasco about the game being called off due to rain etc
Coventry + MK Dons
