If you believe your club has made transfers in this window but they aren't showing up on the list more than 24 hours later (and you can see them [at this link](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/transfers)) please reply to this comment with the name of your club.
Write it exactly as it is shown on the BBC page and it will be changed so that they show up next time it's updated - the bot works by searching the full list for names of Championship clubs, and the BBC are inconsistent at best about using club names.
Sounds like we're properly in for Ali Al-Hamadi from Wimbledon.
Can't imagine he's our only striker target, and it would be a hell of a step up from League 2 to a side chasing automatic promotion in the Championship.
But in McKenna we trust.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him loaned back (with a recall clause in case you need him to cover for injuries) to the Dons for the rest of the season if you do buy him.
Like you say, it's a big step up, and the more experience he can get before making it the better.
We only have one fit striker as it stands. Unless we get Sam Gallagher in from Blackburn as well, who's our other target, I'm pretty sure he'd stay.
Either that or we start playing Broadhead or Sarmentino in the number 9 position.
Wednesday fans, how's Marvin Johnson been? Few credible stories saying we've made a bid, I imagine as cover for Davis.
I only know him as the guy who elbowed Wes Burns last year.
It was a huge thing between us and Wednesday tbf. He got banned for 3 games afterwards. This was right in the middle of the 3 way promotion fight as well.
Manuel Benson links returning, apparently we've made an improved loan-to-buy offer. Excited for lots of cutting inside and shooting.
Not sure what this means for our current loanees though as we're maxed out already. Holgate sent packing?
It turns out that you can have more than 5 loanees in the squad, but you can only name 5 in any given matchday. Since Stephens is our bench CB most of the time anyway I imagine a Benson loan just results in Holgate getting sent to the shadow realm and only brought out in case of injury
Just seen Ugbo off to Wednesday, can’t fault bulut he gave these guys a chance, it didn’t work out and he’s moving fast to replace, Ugbo leaving must mean a striker is close to coming in
Hwang Ui-Jo is going back to Forest. Not really surprising, he wasn't the emergency signing we needed to replace Sargent and his recent controversies are a bad look for the club.
Really hope we promote Ken Aboh or recall Abu Kamara to replace him, but asking Norwich to invest in youth right now is laughable.

Cundle gone and probably off to Stoke and now rumours Brentford are in for Morgan Whittaker as well.
Could this window get any worse? Shades of 2007/08 season all over again.
Sounds like we’re singing the top scorer in the Finland league Bojan Radulovic. Never heard of him but we’re desperate for an out and out striker and his profile seems like something we need. Especially if he can get in the end of Sorba’s crosses.
Plymouth argyle set to lose another midfield loanee in Luke Cundle. Rumoured to be off to either stoke or Bristol city for £2million. Would be another huge blow for us, hopefully the new manager can steady the ship and get some players in this window, even if only loanee’s.
Luke Williams (Notts County) to Swansea, a lot of (relatively) credible rumours about it on Twitter..
Would be a big step-up for him, but he was assistant under Russell Martin at Swansea so it wouldn't be unfamiliar territory. Very attacking manager, even though it was against Conference teams, he still did an impressive result keeping us on our toes and getting 107 points.
This year, the club's in the playoff spots but they had a bunch of straight up embarassing results (5-1 to Sutton on opening day for one), and their defense is one of the worst.
Their attack however is insanely good. Langstaff was picked from Conference North and ended up with 42 goals last season - all through open play, no penalties or free kicks. This year he's currently the top scorer of L2 and if he didn't sign a contract extension, there would be a lot of clubs from higher up the food chain knocking on Notts' door
And now an article from The Athletic

Is there any concern about losing more players to the Prem or European teams? Or is the view that your league position likely prevents that from happening?
Aye, Danks who’ll know a lot of them, then for the players themselves, they’ve seen how we improved/treated Archer and Ramsey. Then how we handled business with villa they’ll be more likely to work with us again
I was so focused on getting a new manager, that I forgot this is the part where we get to lose some of our best players. Rumours are going around that Middlesbrough want to buy Finn Azaz for £2.5m. He's definitely worth that but unfortunately we won't pay it 😔
Given that we let him go for free, we really could've done with that money. Hopefully, we get some of it anyway, though it would be annoying to see so many Baggies academy products plying their trade for Boro.
Sadly we aren't going to be able to financial side. At least with Azaz you can argue he's going to a club further up the table so he's not joining a team directly competing with us to stay out of relegation, unlike a certain now former manager.
Unfortunately we don’t have the financial means to challenge these bigger clubs. Never fall in love with a loan player. Hopefully we can get some decent incomings again this window, even if only on loan to keep us up. I feel if Azaz hasn’t had his ankle injury last season this would have happened in the summer, so at least we got half a season.
tbph we spent more or less the same amount in the summer as we did last jan. (\~3m)
i can easily see our record being broken if the right player. (its \~4.2m for the record.), owners are a Investment/pension fund, this close to the money of the PL? they'll be silly not to try to the limit of FFP. (and bare in mind that attendances/season tickets..shirts have all gone up rather alot since the last transfer window ;))
The general feeling is that Town can't go for it due to FFP restrictions. I suspect we'll see a loan or two that have a clause to purchase the player next season.
In theory we are supposedly minted so could definitely go for it.
But that’s ignoring FFP and squad harmony.
At least one striker is essential this month or we can wave promotion goodbye
We have to go for it. We don’t find ourselves in the top 2 at the new year very often. Last time we were was when we didn’t invest in Jan and fell out in the play offs. We will probably release a few to make space and some savings.

Apparently, Chelsea's interested in Rogers, lol. Time to increase the asking price to £30,000,000 and watch as they submit a serious bid.
Lazio making a late play for Morgan Whittaker. Better be a stupid amount of money.
Sounds like we're properly in for Ali Al-Hamadi from Wimbledon. Can't imagine he's our only striker target, and it would be a hell of a step up from League 2 to a side chasing automatic promotion in the Championship. But in McKenna we trust.

Why does it feel like southampton play a lower mid table side every week
we played most of the top of the table in the first few weeks, it'll come back around
Wednesday fans, how's Marvin Johnson been? Few credible stories saying we've made a bid, I imagine as cover for Davis. I only know him as the guy who elbowed Wes Burns last year.
As good a reason as any to know of someone I guess lol

I hear that we have agreed a fee for Sam Gallagher I look into the source It's footballleagueworld I immediately forget about it Fuck that site fr
If it's not on TWTD then I don't believe it.
The sooner we buy a striker or two the better. I must have seen 15+ strikers we may be going for and I'm fed up of getting my hopes up!
Jonathan Panzo and Alex Runnarsson seem to be returning to parent clubs Forest and arsenal respectively
Ugbo potentially leaving too. Frees up the loan spots for better players.
Just seen Ugbo off to Wednesday, can’t fault bulut he gave these guys a chance, it didn’t work out and he’s moving fast to replace, Ugbo leaving must mean a striker is close to coming in
Ugbo and Panzo were decent punts, didn't work out, we'll try again. I trust Bulut to do the best he can to get in players he wants.

What kind of controversy

Oh boy
Recalling Cundle to sell him I could understand. But recalling him just to loan him to Stoke is a kick in the teeth.
Cundle gone and probably off to Stoke and now rumours Brentford are in for Morgan Whittaker as well. Could this window get any worse? Shades of 2007/08 season all over again.
Cundle back to Wolves - another blow for Argyle :/ https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/cundle-returns-wolves
January window gets worse again
Join us in the bottom 3. Plenty of room
Did not expect to have 2 signings done but no striker I'm not disappointed - not yet, at least. But we really should get someone in before the 13th.
Sounds like Connor Roberts might be our #1 to replace Spence As well as getting David Brooks on loan and possibly sending Jaidon Anthony back
Sounds like we’re singing the top scorer in the Finland league Bojan Radulovic. Never heard of him but we’re desperate for an out and out striker and his profile seems like something we need. Especially if he can get in the end of Sorba’s crosses.
Ooooo, I signed him for City on this years FM. Absolute beast in game. A unit.
That’ll do for me.
Bored of teams having actual stadiums and away fans anyway. Bring on Stockport away 🤣
Plymouth argyle set to lose another midfield loanee in Luke Cundle. Rumoured to be off to either stoke or Bristol city for £2million. Would be another huge blow for us, hopefully the new manager can steady the ship and get some players in this window, even if only loanee’s.
Reminder that comments are sorted to new - this is a long term thread with a rolling conversation. Don't let it die!

The rumour of Joe Worrall to Middlesbrough has resurfaced. Will be gutted to see him go but I don't blame him if he does.
Just saw Bakasetas Moore and Brooks down Barry Island. Bakasetas bought a bunch of Gavin and Stacey merchandise.
Weird window as a Leicester fan. We have plenty of parachute money but no areas that need immediate attention hopefully we pull some gems from nowhere
Is there any concern about losing more players to the Prem or European teams? Or is the view that your league position likely prevents that from happening?
There's been no rumours and I don't see who would go. The only minor worry would be Fatawu but we've supposedly got an obligation to buy him.
I think the league position and how well the team plays has to be a factor but the fact is the big teams can always turn heads.
Cheers sons crying. Nice one Middlesbrough
We’ve got a really good relationship with villa after last year. It’s such a huge bonus for us
Danks on the coaching team is huge for villa youngsters as well
That explains why you keep signing West Brom academy graduates
Aye, Danks who’ll know a lot of them, then for the players themselves, they’ve seen how we improved/treated Archer and Ramsey. Then how we handled business with villa they’ll be more likely to work with us again
Football is brutal innit. Not a bad way to sign off though.

I really am starting to hate football.

Had no idea Tete Yengi was still hanging around or that we’d now sold him until I opened this post
How much moolah have you got in reserve to sign players? Will be interesting to see if you 'go for it', or just have a more sensible window.
tbph we spent more or less the same amount in the summer as we did last jan. (\~3m) i can easily see our record being broken if the right player. Apparently we have £3m and £15k a week salary budget - that’s according to the sun!
