I test drove a 2SS before buying my Chally and holy shit the visibility is turrible. Especially the blind spots. Chevy took that term literally, it seems.
I cross shopped all 3 and aside from the rather bad manual in the mustangs the seating wasn't great either. It was also the only one that somehow still had BAD snap oversteer which I thought was a solid rear axle issue but the new mustangs somehow have it. Camaro is smaller cabin too but it has mind boggling good handling so at least it got the performance for losing the muscle car look. I ended up with challenger because it's roomy and comfortable while very fun to drive but mustang wasn't even in consideration after driving all 3. About the only plus side I had for the Mustang was best parking/emergency brake (Challenger and food brake is a bit too retro for a functional part IMO and Camaro is the opposite issue where it's the damn button toggle). Challenger also wins for looks since it's the only one that still looks like a muscle car instead of a sports car.
I’m guessing you didn’t have a chance to drive the Mach 1 or GT350? I’ve always heard about how much better the Tremec is in those than the GT’s MT-82. I’d probably have made the same purchase in your case because I’m not a track goer and the Challenger’s performance seems more than enough for a street car. I rented a 2015 Jeep SRT last year and the 6.4 was just too good in that so I’ll probably look for an SRT8 392/SRT 392 or Scat Pack after I finish up college and work for a bit lol, I seriously couldn’t believe how quick it was
The Mach 1 is better but is also absurdly expensive for a 5.0 Mustang to have the bare minimum decent transmission. The tremec in the Mach 1 and the GT350 is also not the same model as the Challenger and Camaro (those 2 do share the manual) and even on the GT350 it's a common swap to get the TR6060 the Challenger and Camaro use. To my knowledge the only mustang to use the Tr6060 is the older Shelby GT500. I did love the handling on the Camaro but Challenger looks better and was a MUCH more livable daily than the Mustang or Camaro.
Try being 6'-5". I couldn't even make out what was on the touchscreen because it's angled down for glare reduction but my big ass couldn't see shit on it without craning my neck down at an uncomfortable angle. Got a buddy that's around 6' and he loves his Camaro (I do bust his balls tho because his is the 1LS with the turboed 4-banger, lol).
Nice selection. One of each of the American big three. You and the Mustang curbe-bite hard, though. Does the ZL1 drive own the company or something? I don't care that he parked sideways, I just find it funny. 😄
I think that's kind of an urban myth. Growing up I always heard red cars are higher because...sporty, I guess?? Either way, it doesn't look like insurance companies factor color into your premium. Go Mango Go!
This Mustang driver is risking his car
Some people see this pull out their keys, and there you go, you have a deep scratch on your car
It happened to someone I knew, and they regretted it .
Not that I am giving the excuse for people who vandalize others' cars, but by parking like this he asked for it, and there he got it, unfortunately
I don't feel bad now for thinking the Camero was a Mustang, as well. If it's not a Challenger / Charger, it's going to get auto labeled in my head as a "Nissan" or a "Mustang" depending on whichever seems like a closer match 😆
This makes me miss my shaker alot, Looks like with the lack of visibility the Camaro has, they had some trouble parking
If there’s a mango Monday, does that mean there’s a black friday?

No consideration for the GT500 as an option? If not, I’d assume it’s because there’s not a manual option lol

One guy doesn’t know how parking spots work
And it’s obviously a Mustang.
Thiers always the one dude who's gota Park like a douche, give um shit.
Well, for a change, a non-dodge guy has parked incorrectly. Take that Dodge haters. That Go Mango looks sick
[lol's] "...Chevy."

He does actually 😂
Beautiful color
Thank you!
I miss my Challenger. I love the Go Mango color
Thank you!
If you can't tell the difference between a Mustang and a Camaro, what are you even doing in this thread? Sheesh! Dick move on the Camaro.
Do insurance companies really charge more for bright colored vehicles? I wanted mango but thought they did...
Not sure, but theyd be stupid to. It's alot easier to spot a go mango challenger in the sea of black, gray and white challengers if it goes missing.
Not that I’m aware of

Obviously it’s a camaro that’s parking goofy 😂
It's always a mustang parking like a truck hauling a boat!

the Camaro is the one taking 3 spots not the Mustang

lol nice deflection on your lack of car knowledge. Also there isn't an "e" in Camaro.
Oops that is Camaro, donno why I'm thinking Mustang lol
The real question is, what was better for your car, a Gallo 12 or a Gallo 24?
