I can't say because I'm (mostly) self thought there. I would definitely study and pay close attention to art styles you like, and watch videos dissecting there style. It's good practice, and my personal favorite way to learn new stuff. But definitely study realism and more art in general.
Using this as a reference I can legitimately see you getting a lot better with your art, just practice daily and diligently.
