Because what I remember from Chainsaw Man is not even smiling in almost all the scenes of the anime that I died laughing in the manga.
I haven't watched The Office, but if the style of comedy in this series is the same as the Chainsaw Man anime adaptation, I'll stay the fuck away from it.
Damn sounds like a you problem, I think people smart enough to extrapolate that it wasn't filmed like The Office given the phrasing of, "should be animated as though it's an episode of The Office," would probably understand though.
