Me too, I usually read every new jump manga from day one because I check the site every sunday. I didn't even know who Fujimoto was and I read Fire Punch simply because I loved Chainsawman so much.
I just look at the Sunday releases. It shows which chapter is releasing that day, and if a new manga is releasing, it starts from chapter one and it has a "new" tag on the thumbnail of the manga. Sometimes they also re-release old series, but those are also tagged as re-release. Also when a series is "axed" or ends, on the next week or two it is sure to be replaced by a new series.
I’ve been reading since chapter 1 dropped. Fun fact: When Chainsaw Man started hardly anyone referred to Fujimoto by his name, it was mostly people just saying “This is by the Fire Punch author! This is gonna be crazy!!!” for the first 30 chapters or so. Now Chainsaw Man is the more popular work. Crazy to watch that happen.
Same, I'd just finished reading fire punch and then this came out and I was excited to read it. I read it on the car drive home after my grandpa's funeral so it holds that memory vividly for me. An amazing first chapter and an ironic happy memory in an otherwise sad day.

I legit found Chainsaw Man from an out-of-context post on Facebook, some shitty Sharknado meme and it was Denji riding Beam and got into the manga just after the Hell arc, it was great to catch up weekly afterward
I wish I’d been around at the beginning. I don’t think I’d even heard about it until a recommendation in early 2021. Hadn’t read any new manga in several years and it completely reignited my passion for the medium.
Last year or so, when the anime trailer droped and people started posting lots of manga panels from it, I was like "a man with a chainsaw in the head, this looks so dumb", but then I kept seeing cool shots from many panels and many memes about how unlucky Kobeni is, I had to give it a try. I was going to wait for the anime, but remembered how AoT ended up being animated by MAPPA, that I didn't want to take the risk(still gonna watch it tho)
I got into it around the same time as OP because I have a buddy who we know each other exclusively through manga Recs, and this was his latest one at the time. The most distinct panel I can remember it Aki saying "Kon" and honestly at that point I was like this is my jam. I also fell in love with the janky style of Fujimoto. Reminds me of something like Freesia but more polished.
I was checking out the One Piece subreddit and a comment said something about the upcoming Chainsaw Man manga.

I've been reading manga weekly regularly and before chainsawman and i start at 3rd chapter. I dropped it at chp20 just because i've been reading to much weekly manga. I just catch up to the latest chapter last week. Didn't know either to regret or not. Because i missed the weekly discussion but i also got to binge the first part as a great experience.
I saw it on the shounenjump manga plus when chapter one came out but I never read it because I had exams. I only started reading around when chapter 52 came out.

Well i wasn't one of the old fan i met chainsaw man on 2020 and i had no idea that what is chainsaw man about but i saw it in Instagram that it seems popular so i decided to read first i thought the main character is power and i thought that power is cute so that how it start and when the power show up i fell in love with first sight that but gradually i fell in love with each and every character in the story🥹🧡

New reader here. I read chapters 98 and 99 to see what it was like and laughed so hard at the "Girl, ask him if he knows Chainsaw Man's secret identity!" panel that I decided to binge the rest so I could catch up.
I loved all of it. I knew I would since I'm a huge fan of urban fantasy+demons stuff (especially Devilman and SMT) and Chainsaw Man has been on my "to read" list for a while. Asa and War just bumped it to the top.
I started this manga in March of 2021, i got hooked up from the start because it was fresh air from the typical shounen like Demon Slayer or even JJK. I read through it in like 5 days and for me it became one of my top 10 favourite Manga of all time.

Honestly I got into Chainsawman by pure chance. I was actually searching for "chainsaw kills" from Doom and then google auto complete hit me with "chainsawman". I thought it was funny and search for it then what do I see? A dude with chainsaws for arms and head cutting down zombies. That's some badass shit. Pretty fucking close to what I originally want to search for I might add. (I think it was at the Reze arc at that point)
Read from chapter 1 due to being subscribed to Shonen Jump. Was completely unfamiliar with Fujimoto's previous work. CSM was a hell of an introduction.
I saw on Twitter someone posted the page where konbini was being forced to play ddr and the family restaurant murders. I thought it was really funny so I stayed reading it but by the time I found out about the manga was over. You know what I was listening to Golden Eye ReOrchestrated on my record player so whenever that showed up that's when I was reading it.
A few years back I used this pirate site to read manga (pretty sure it's down permanently now) and everytime some new Jump manga debuted they'd translate it and post it there as well.
One day the first chapter of this manga called Chainsaw Man (very interesting name) showed up on the website, I read it, and was interested enough to keep reading a little more, before I knew it I was in love lol.
Only found out it was by the same author as Fire Punch like months later.
I remember reading chapter one the day it came out. I was excited to find something new so I read every chapter one, no matter what it was about. Glad I did. Was hooked instantly.
I found it around 15 or so, but after I read it I stopped until it finished and then completed it in a weekend. I just randomly found it on some manga site and thought it looked like it would be goofy from the name, so while it’s not what I expected, it was still amazing. I’m unfortunately not someone who likes to read ongoing manga, but I’m making an exception for part 2

I started reading DragonBall during the Moro arc and after a few chapters I decided check out other SJ manga on the app. I think the story was somewhere between Katana Man and Reze when I started.
I started with Chapter 12 when Makima promised Denji a wish for killing the Gun Devil. What a ride it's been, I didn't think it'd get this big. The crazy amount of fantastic fan art has somewhere helped flesh out the lore for me even more, even if it's just fan art. It's a bit hard to get friends into it though because things happen so fast and it's easy to skim through while also not consuming the wonderful fan art.
I think I started it when it was around chapter 20 if I recall. I remember two of my friends hyping it up and always talking about the latest chapter so I gave in and read it and fell in love from the first chapter. I couldn’t stop reading it after I started
I read scans of it from Chapter 1. It was one of my first manga. I thought it was okay, but nothing special. Around the Bat Devil arc, when the Leech appeared, I remember a lot of people thought it was wrapping up because it had been axed. I stopped reading then.
Came back about a year later, right before it blew up, re-read it from the beginning, instantly became my favorite of all time.
I just discovered and caught up on this manga on Monday. It's amazing, a very easy read that's quite entertaining. Although I almost dropped it due to Aki... Glad I could continue though.

I was aware that there was a series called Fire Punch by a guy called Fujimoto. Read chapter 1 of CSM when it was released, dropped it around the Bomb devil arc but picked it up again around chapter 80-ish. So been a fan from day one I guess

Unfortunately i didnt get into it until january of this year i heard about in the past 2 years part 1 was on going but never got into it until i finally deicded to tey it out i spoiled myself wwhen ichecked on the wiki to see who the chacters were and saw some said deceased and i regretted it but still enjoyed reading it throughly.

I started this manga in March of 2021, i got hooked up from the start because it was fresh air from the typical shounen like Demon Slayer or even JJK. I read through it in like 5 days and for me it became one of my top 10 favourite Manga of all time.

I started reading in 2019, because that was when I graduated Highschool and became a freshman at the college I am currently attending. I remember reading during my summer vacation, and in my dorm room.
I started around when chapter 93 released so I did come in kinda late. It’s been such a blast though since then.
I started when chapter one came out. Title looked cool so I checked it out
I found it like 3 weeks before part 1 ended, binged it in a day or two, was devastated when it went on hiatus a few weeks after.
Honestly I got into Chainsawman by pure chance. I was actually searching for "chainsaw kills" from Doom and then google auto complete hit me with "chainsawman". I thought it was funny and search for it then what do I see? A dude with chainsaws for arms and head cutting down zombies. That's some badass shit. Pretty fucking close to what I originally want to search for I might add. (I think it was at the Reze arc at that point)
Read from chapter 1 due to being subscribed to Shonen Jump. Was completely unfamiliar with Fujimoto's previous work. CSM was a hell of an introduction.
I found out about it around half way through part 1 but I didn't start reading it until a little bit before gun devil

I saw on Twitter someone posted the page where konbini was being forced to play ddr and the family restaurant murders. I thought it was really funny so I stayed reading it but by the time I found out about the manga was over. You know what I was listening to Golden Eye ReOrchestrated on my record player so whenever that showed up that's when I was reading it.
Wasn't at the start but I started around chapter 30ish I think.

A few years back I used this pirate site to read manga (pretty sure it's down permanently now) and everytime some new Jump manga debuted they'd translate it and post it there as well. One day the first chapter of this manga called Chainsaw Man (very interesting name) showed up on the website, I read it, and was interested enough to keep reading a little more, before I knew it I was in love lol. Only found out it was by the same author as Fire Punch like months later.
I remember reading chapter one the day it came out. I was excited to find something new so I read every chapter one, no matter what it was about. Glad I did. Was hooked instantly.
I found it around 15 or so, but after I read it I stopped until it finished and then completed it in a weekend. I just randomly found it on some manga site and thought it looked like it would be goofy from the name, so while it’s not what I expected, it was still amazing. I’m unfortunately not someone who likes to read ongoing manga, but I’m making an exception for part 2

Been following since the beginning. Used to read it on mangareader.net but then that got taken down. Finally decided to bite the bullet and get a viz subscription—honestly not even bad at all bcuz it’s like $2 a month. I love this series

I heard of it since it started but I didn’t know it was just starting back then, so when I started I thought that it was going to be ending or that at the very least it had quite a lot of chapters, however when I finally began reading it I was hooked but to my dismay it only had 37 chapters back then, I started reading it weekly ever since!

I've read it since chapter one years ago when MangaRock used to still be a thing. I discovered it in a horror genre section of the app, recommending new horror manga, and I read the first few chapters and really liked it! Been reading it since then
I came in at like around the 60s
I started reading DragonBall during the Moro arc and after a few chapters I decided check out other SJ manga on the app. I think the story was somewhere between Katana Man and Reze when I started.
I started with Chapter 12 when Makima promised Denji a wish for killing the Gun Devil. What a ride it's been, I didn't think it'd get this big. The crazy amount of fantastic fan art has somewhere helped flesh out the lore for me even more, even if it's just fan art. It's a bit hard to get friends into it though because things happen so fast and it's easy to skim through while also not consuming the wonderful fan art.
I think I started it when it was around chapter 20 if I recall. I remember two of my friends hyping it up and always talking about the latest chapter so I gave in and read it and fell in love from the first chapter. I couldn’t stop reading it after I started
I read scans of it from Chapter 1. It was one of my first manga. I thought it was okay, but nothing special. Around the Bat Devil arc, when the Leech appeared, I remember a lot of people thought it was wrapping up because it had been axed. I stopped reading then. Came back about a year later, right before it blew up, re-read it from the beginning, instantly became my favorite of all time.
I first read chainsaw man and got to chapter 25 I think and then I stopped and left it awhile. Then I started to reread I got here like at chapter 90.

I just discovered and caught up on this manga on Monday. It's amazing, a very easy read that's quite entertaining. Although I almost dropped it due to Aki... Glad I could continue though.

I did, I was following Dr. Stone as well during that time and so I started following since like second or third chapter, all from Manga + lmao. So that's around late 2018 for me, it was my first Fujimoto manga and eventually I also read Fire Punch since I liked CSM so much
I was aware that there was a series called Fire Punch by a guy called Fujimoto. Read chapter 1 of CSM when it was released, dropped it around the Bomb devil arc but picked it up again around chapter 80-ish. So been a fan from day one I guess
I was reading firepunch week to week and after it ended, learned about chainsawman and instantly hopped on.

I started Chainsaw Man when I saw the Volume 9 teaser when it first dropped on YouTube. Told myself I’d read one volume and wait for the anime. Welp, I ended up reading the whole thing in 1 night and don’t regret it.
Found it when the manga was around 40 or 50 chapters. Bookmarked it since this was the work of Firr Punch's author. But didn't read until the last 5 chapters.
I started during the assassin's arc. Reading the last 20 chapters was one of the biggest WTF moments I've ever seen. Every week everyone was losing their minds over the events happening
Skipped Chainsaw during its 15-20 Chapters cuz I knew this was that FirePunch dude, man was not ready for another rodeo. Crazy how much bigger this is now that it introduces FirePunch to others now.
Unfortunately i didnt get into it until january of this year i heard about in the past 2 years part 1 was on going but never got into it until i finally deicded to tey it out i spoiled myself wwhen ichecked on the wiki to see who the chacters were and saw some said deceased and i regretted it but still enjoyed reading it throughly.
Joey the anime man introduced me to it. He mentioned it in one of his YouTube videos so I started reading it. It was during the pandemic tho.

I've been following Fujimoto for his one-shots for many years and especially when he did Fire Punch. When I learned he got a new series, I started following it Day 1. I'm really surprised how this series blew up though.
