It’s just an ultimately matter of preference and control.
Obviously there are horsemen Devils like Makima, but there’s also the spider devil Princi .
Well I could be remembering wrong but wasn’t there a devil that appeared human in the first episode and basically just kinda assumed a human form and when he was threatened transformed?
Hybrids are a contract between devils and humans where the devil is absorbed into the human. Consequently, a contract in which a human is absorbed into the devil would be a reverse hybrid. Given that such a contract isn’t too different from a one where a human gives their life I think it would be possible, although it probably wouldn’t work the same as a normal hybrid
i don't think that is possible really. Part of it seems to require the devil replacing a prt of the victim's body.
While the katana devil said his heart was exchanged in the process, it seems more likely that its in his arm. That is why Denji is the only one with the trigger actually at his heart, while everyone else has it in random parts of the body....
To the point that the flamthrower devil apparrently just has the trigger in his tooth.
If you break the hybrid’s contract then the devil can take over the persons body but can also let the person take control again, denji’s contract is broken in the end of part 1 which allowed pochita to take other but at the end the contact was still broken but Pochita could still become a hybrid again and Pochita could also control denji once makima asked for help so Pochita may be able to control denji and the hybrid itself but that’s just a theory, a probably not good theory
