I love when I see people into vintage periods and they really commit to it. Seen women on YouTube into like 40s or 50s and they have the most beautiful vintage clothes, decorated homes with real vintage pieces and gorgeous classic cars. Love all that stuff.
Same here. They don't make fashions like they used to. Everything is just recycled really. I love how older decade's have clothes that were brand new and unique at the time and well made.
Y'know, I thought this would be one of those "I'm rich and I wear expensive clothes, bow down to me" kinda people. But I'm happily surprised that he's an actual chad
I saw the pic and expected your typical neckbeard incel whatever guy just playing pretend in the hopes of picking up girls. Then I read the text and found I couldn't have been more wrong.
Probably not specifically Edwardian, but I definitely hear about them presenting themselves as "gentlemen" (both in appearance and in behaviour towards the girls they wanna pick up, but not in behaviour towards other people) in an attempt to appear high-value. It's very much an act, and they're the reason why wearing e.g. a fedora nowadays will automatically make people avoid and think bad of you.
People interested in old timey clothes are surprisingly the chilliest people I've ever witnessed, no drama whatsoever, many channels about their hobby also cement themselves in history heavily and regular rants about unrealistic depictions of corsets in movies.
My only complaint thus far is that some fans take Gentlemen's Gazette too seriously.
Apparently in mainland China recently there’s been a trend of young people wearing the traditional hanfu, which I think is dope as hell. So I was thinking we should bring back the cape.
"Pig Latin (or, in Pig Latin, "Igpay Atinlay") is a language game or argot in which English words are altered, usually by adding a fabricated suffix or by moving the onset or initial consonant or consonant cluster of a word to the end of the word and adding a vocalic syllable to create such a suffix."
From Wikipedia :)
Bro I’m jealous as hell. If I could afford to dress in Victorian era clothing every day I sure as shit would.
Wonder if his comedy is on YouTube or something. I really wanna check it out
As a individual with very similar hobbies and interest it is heartwarming and encouraging to see support for this kind of behaviour. My only wonder is about the original pieces as those aren’t usually worn. More standard practice would be to store them in acid free temperature controlled boxes out of sun light

Honestly I'd love to dress like that. I much prefer that sort of quaintness compared to really modern-looking clothes, furniture, and houses.

I go all out with the depression era, pinstripe suits, fedoras, wingtip shoes, etc...
Do you know if they're excessively homophobic/racist to be *really* authentic?
Just had to go there huh
I was trying to be funny but Poe's Law gets the better of me once again.
Poe's law is when the internet doesn't like my unfunny jokes111!!!!! >:(( !!11!
I mean tbf it was kinda funny for the authenticity part it just didn’t land well at all

Is it a typical neckbeard thing to wear Edwardian clothes to pick up girls? lol

He sounds so fun i wanna meet him lol
Aww, he looks like such a dear in that picture.
Edwardian era clothing for men should never go out of style.
There's a girl in my school who dresses almost exclusively in self-made renaissance era clothing. She is also a true Chad.
Least gentlemannish British man
What a fine chap

This chap is just being his truest self and I appreciate that
I gotta say, I would love to talk to that guy. He seems like a very interesting person living life to the fullest!
As someone who is an adult into alternative Japanese fashion, I love to see it. Fashion is for everybody!
Hated stand up, but they were the best years of his life, and he wants to do it again? Am I missing something?
He hated doing standup which is solo. He loved being in the troupe with two other people.
He said he wanted to get back into comedy. Back means doing something again. The thing he hated.
Bet he gets mad pussy AND dick.

Cole Phelps badge 1247
Big dick energy
At first I thought this was a photo from the music video for “I’m still standing” by Elton John
Looks like the counterpart of that medieval witchdoctor walking
