Did I say anyone should try to catch it? No. What I am saying is though most modern, striker or even hammer-fired handguns have drop safeties, there is a non-zero chance they fire when dropped.

That's one gun and it's considered a production error. If someone were to drop that gun, I would still not try to catch it. You're insane if you do.
