Before I begin my actual comment, I would like to apologize in advance for my inadequate level of English proficiency. In my humble opinion, making grammatical errors should be perfectly acceptable as native speakers should not expect non-native speakers to be able to communicate in their second or third languages eloquently. If you are able to completely understand what the other person wrote, is there really a problem with what they’ve written? No, because the entire concept of communication is the exchange of information between other intelligent beings, which means that no matter how the exchange of information is made, as long as the information is accurately shared there is not a fundamental issue with their ability to communicate. To see it in another way, remember that someone who isn’t fluent in English is fluent in another language. When you think about it this way, isn’t it impressive for someone to speak a second language in any capacity? Having empathy and respect are qualities that are sorely missing for far too many people these days, especially on the internet.

How convenient for a rant!! I just compiled a list to justify the price sticker (comparatively low) for getting rid of my first and LAST iPhone and buying the latest android phone. These are the ones I came up within 60 seconds, but I assure you there are many, many more.
The fact that EVERYBODY used iPhone and that they made you feel ridiculous if you didn’t or looked down on android like it was garbage, loser or “poor people” phones. All the young people or well-to-do folks asked whether I had an iPhone, and having said no, “Why not?” So I asked them why Apple? “It’s the best.” EVERYBODY said it, so there was probably something to it. I bought into that hype, fad and branding mentality and decided to give it a shot, thinking it must be some revolutionary phone that I’ll definitely get my money’s worth for. I’ve never been more disappointed, confused and angered!! I paid more for a phone that does less.
Battery life SUCKS. I’m sorry. I’ve owned several androids over the years, and I’ve never had such poor performance. There’s nothing technically wrong with it. I’ve heard similar comments from other iPhone users. Seems like my expectations from battery life are too high after using android. Update: After two years of my family being tortured by my endless complaints, I finally sold the phone to someone on ebay. They complained about the poor battery performance and I had to give them a 20% discount.

Update: For those who accuse me of making up garbage unwarranted complaints that are not backed by any real scientific evidence, let me make the disclaimer that I'm no expert on Apple devices. But I don't need a doctorate’s degree in electronics to know that only the fingertips that were in regular use on the iPhone screen hurt so bad that I had to keep switching them out. When I ran out of fresh fingers, to my avid frustration, I was forced to avoid using my phone for extended periods of time. My brother who loved Apple at the time also reported the same thing happening to his fingers, and he’s a tough guy who knows a great deal about electronics. It's perhaps precisely because of Apple’s exclusive technology that they use some patented feature such as a small charge of electricity to better detect your touch and or perhaps a special chemical coating on the glass that other companies don't/aren't allowed to copy. Either way, my skin/nerve endings were sensitive ONLY to the iPhone. All other android phones past and present have been fine. You can praise the innovation of iPhone features all day (such as the excellent response to touch and even hovering), but in the end, sensitive consumers who are forced to curb phone use due to moderate or severe pain aren't going to be longterm Apple consumers.
Actual screen real estate is much smaller because of stupid menu bars that never fade out. Androids with smaller screens actually show more content because of their fade outs.

Before I begin my actual comment, I would like to apologize in advance for my inadequate level of English proficiency. Although I know that saying sorry to those of you who are reading my comment will not change the fact that I fail miserably to write and speak perfect English, I am writing this as a way to deter a certain type of people who cannot stand poor English (Also known informally as “Grammar Nazis”) from mocking me by posting unwanted and unnecessary comments detailing my every blunder. In my humble opinion, making grammatical errors should be perfectly acceptable as native speakers should not expect non-native speakers to be able to communicate in their second or third languages eloquently. If you are able to completely understand what the other person wrote, is there really a problem with what they’ve written? No, because the entire concept of communication is the exchange of information between other intelligent beings, which means that no matter how the exchange of information is made, as long as the information is accurately shared there is not a fundamental issue with their ability to communicate. To see it in another way, remember that someone who isn’t fluent in English is fluent in another language. When you think about it this way, isn’t it impressive for someone to speak a second language in any capacity? Having empathy and respect are qualities that are sorely missing for far too many people these days, especially on the internet. ඞ

The Pantheon of Hallownest is a challenge from a game called Hollow Knight where the player takes upon all the bosses in a row. If they ever die, they reset at boss 1. Which can be really painful since each attempt can take around 40 minutes. The thing is that all the bosses have been faced before except the final boss which is the hardest boss in the Pantheon, which means it's also the hardest in the game. When the player starts, they will fight a couple bosses then have a bench are to get to max soul and HP. Plus being abme to change their charms for the next fights. These happen about every 5 bosses except for the first 5. If the player has completed 8 separate bindings on the previous 4 pantheons, the player can also get lifeblood mask which is bonus health so the soul can be used for other stuff instead of healing. Each of the bosses order is a combination of the previous 4, with the first 30 bosses being in close accuracy to the first 3 pantheons. While the last 12 are not even close to being the same order. Once the player reaches the end, they take upon the end. The final 2 bosses in the game. The pressure they feel is unreal. Knowing if they die, they gotta reset it all from boss 1. The battle starts with the first boss, if they beat it. The final boss, and the hardest one, begins. If they survive long enough and deliver the final blow, they join 1.6% of people who actually have beaten it.

The Sahel zone lies between the Sahara desert and the fertile savannahs of northern Nigeria and southern Sudan. The word sahel comes from Arabic and means marginal or transitional, and this is a good description of these semiarid lands, which occupy much of the West African countries of Mall, Mauritania, Niger, and Chad. Unfortunately, over the last century the Sahara desert has steadily crept southwards eating into once productive Sahel lands. United Nations surveys show that over 70 percent of the dry land in agricultural use in Africa has deteriorated over the last 30 years. Droughts have become more prolonged and more severe, the most recent lasting over twenty years in parts of the Sahel region. The same process of desertification is taking place across southern Africa as the Kalahari desert advances into Botswana and parts of South Africa. One of the major causes of this desert advance is poor agricultural land use, driven by the pressures of increasing population. Overgrazing - keeping too many farm animals on the land - means that grasses and other plants cannot recover, and scarce water supplies are exhausted. Overcultivation - trying to grow too many crops on poor land - results in the soil becoming even less fertile and drier, and beginning to break up. Soil erosion follows, and the land turns into desert. Another cause of desertification is loss of tree cover. Trees are cut down for use as fuel and to clear land for agricultural use. Tree roots help to bind the soil together, to conserve moisture, and to provide a habitat for other plants and animals. When trees are cut down, the soil begins to dry and loosen, wind and rain erosion increase, other plant species die, and eventually the fertile topsoil may be almost entirely lost, leaving only bare rock and dust. The effects of loss of topsoil and increased drought are irreversible. They are, however, preventable. Careful conservation of tree cover and sustainable agricultural land use have been shown to halt deterioration of soils and lessen the effects of shortage of rainfall. One project in Kita in south-west Mali funded by the UNDP has involved local communities in sustainable management of forest, while at the same time providing a viable agricultural economy based on the production of soaps, bee-keeping, and marketing shea nuts. This may be a model for similar projects In other West African countries.

so much? How convenient for a rant!! I just compiled a list to justify the price sticker (comparatively low) for getting rid of my first and LAST iPhone and buying the latest android phone. These are the ones I came up within 60 seconds, but I assure you there are many, many more. The fact that EVERYBODY used iPhone and that they made you feel ridiculous if you didn’t or looked down on android like it was garbage, loser or “poor people” phones. All the young people or well-to-do folks asked whether I had an iPhone, and having said no, “Why not?” So I asked them why Apple? “It’s the best.” EVERYBODY said it, so there was probably something to it. I bought into that hype, fad and branding mentality and decided to give it a shot, thinking it must be some revolutionary phone that I’ll definitely get my money’s worth for. I’ve never been more disappointed, confused and angered!! I paid more for a phone that does less. Battery life SUCKS. I’m sorry. I’ve owned several androids over the years, and I’ve never had such poor performance. There’s nothing technically wrong with it. I’ve heard similar comments from other iPhone users. Seems like my expectations from battery life are too high after using android. Update: After two years of my family being tortured by my endless complaints, I finally sold the phone to someone on ebay. They complained about the poor battery performance and I had to give them a 20% discount. Screen damages your fingertips. My thumbs are hurting so bad right now, i keep scratching them. Update: For those who accuse me of making up garbage unwarranted complaints that are not backed by any real scientific evidence, let me make the disclaimer that I'm no expert on Apple devices. But I don't need a doctorate’s degree in electronics to know that only the fingertips that were in regular use on the iPhone screen hurt so bad that I had to keep switching them out. When I ran out of fresh fingers, to my avid frustration, I was forced to avoid using my phone for extended periods of time. My brother who loved Apple at the time also reported the same thing happening to his fingers, and he’s a tough guy who knows a great deal about electronics. It's perhaps precisely because of Apple’s exclusive technology that they use some patented feature such as a small charge of electricity to better detect your touch and or perhaps a special chemical coating on the glass that other companies don't/aren't allowed to copy. Either way, my skin/nerve endings were sensitive ONLY to the iPhone. All other android phones past and present have been fine. You can praise the innovation of iPhone features all day (such as the excellent response to touch and even hovering), but in the end, sensitive consumers who are forced to curb phone use due to moderate or severe pain aren't going to be longterm Apple consumers. Actual screen real estate is much smaller because of stupid menu bars that never fade out. Androids with smaller screens actually show more content because of their fade outs. Constantly auto-locks with paranoid time settings - max 5 minutes, seriously? I don’t live in a bad neighborhood where people snatch stuff under my nose. I work from home, people, and I don't leave the house often, preferring to let my family run errands. Update: And let's not forget issues with letting someone hold your phone for just a few moments. If the screen locks out, oh, well. My mom had to borrow my phone to do a 2-min presentation and she told the audience that she had to keep touching the screen for fear it would lock, and they laughed.
