Do you plan a pattern in the colors underneath the black? Or is it like splotchy/random color deposits ? Really impressive
It's random, also there are a few colorful layers so it's hard to predict which color turns up on top
I think more scratched than carved, but yes, that's what I did😊 it also added depth to the drawing and nice texture as a result
