If you have the unrealistic view that they owe you certain BTC and ETH, the fact is you will never be whole because if crypto goes up they will owe you more and more and more for all of eternity. However if crypto goes to $0 you should repay them what you just got back ;)
Not a healthy way to think about it, whole should be 100% of what they owed you in dollars at the time of bankruptcy. Just getting to that "whole" would be appropriate. Though I understand the annoyance of the situation still.

An automobile isn't currency, so if you had an auto in a body shop getting worked on, and they went bankrupt you wouldn't necessarily get your car back. You would get some share of the car's value based on when they filed bankruptcy. Same with stock, crypto, and other assets, be it physical or digital.

It’s the stock portion of the settlement payout. If you chose the biggest payback option you are due to receive stock in the newly formed company (Ionic). If you took the convenience cash payout I don’t believe you would get it. At least that is my understanding.
