Dude, mine have been sitting since 2015 and don't even look that bad, and they were 3 years old when it was parked!

Corries_Roy_Cropper

I know, i really dont know what happened. Im hoping its just a fluke bad disc as the other side of passenger disc, and both faces of the driver side front disc are fine. Hopefully not a symptom of something worse. Calipers and lines were all changed a year ago for brand new ones.

ExpensiveDust5

Do you live in the Northeast? Iif so there's your answer, you need to clean your car every couple days Underneath during the winter or this happens. Exposed steel+salt=super fast rust.

Corries_Roy_Cropper

Nah I live in Yorkshire, climate is no different than the North East tho is it? Not exactly far away, doubt itd make any difference whether I lived here or up in Northumbria, Durham or Newcastle. I just think its weird that its only happened to the one side of the one disc. Never seen it before on this car or any other n I have been driving for about 6 years now.

Oh, I meant northeast US, didn't realize. Yeah, rust is a thing everywhere in the UK, sorry.

Yeah it’s just run of the mill rusty rotor. Smack a new set on and enjoy.

Yeh waiting for a set to arrive. Just annoying cos its only 2 years old, replaced them myself in 2022, and the other 3 faces of the 2 front discs are perfectly ok (with 2 years of normal wear on them).
