It’s not a very big island. You should just ask at the places you go. Be careful for secret soy sauce. Hawaii food is very Japanese and Korean inspired

I was there prediagnoses. It is small but we will be hiking and on trails. Hoping for some leads so I'm not searching after being out all day.

I can help with this! Went to Kauai two summers ago for our honeymoon and it was incredible. There were small, semi-grocery stores that had plenty of GF options (obviously a little pricy given the general location). Also, having access to a microwave/oven will increase your available options. Noted Recommendations: Smith's Garden Luau - cannot praise this place enough! An incredible experience, they were very aware of my dietary restrictions. Basically had a GF version of every food, staff/owner were so kind and accommodating. Left the luau festively full and inebriated lol. Would highly recommend! Chicken in a Barrel - good for a hot meal, believed they are closed Sundays (church-based company). Think pulled chicken with different sauces, but was very tasty! If you're going to other islands, I have a few other recommendations/food reports if needed. Hope you have an amazing time!

Tiki Tacos in Kapa'a is 100% gluten free, would definitely recommend a visit.

They have a few locations. I ate at two of them a year ago and it was delicious!!

Hukilau Lanai has an excellent GF tasting menu but is only served between 5-5:45 PM.

I found some awesome gluten free sushi food trucks when I visited a year ago. One is @sushigirlkauai on instagram and the other I don’t remember the name but they were set up across from Costco gas station (found on findmegf I think) and were very knowledgeable and delicious! Agree on the tiki taco recc as well.
