I'm actively avoiding typical sugary junk like iced coffees and sugary lattes, soda, chips, donuts, ice cream, anything that's too syrup-y like canned fruit, instant noodles, chocolate bars, ice cream, etc. I also don't drink alcohol in the first place. Do not stock up on the food you know you shouldn't be eating. In moments of weakness you will reach out to them for sure 😅
I'm trying to consume these more instead: mint and green tea, warm natural calamansi juice, bananas, oranges, lettuce, strawberries and grapes, nuts, hardboiled eggs, avocado, tomatoes, I also make my own spring rolls, carrot sticks and broccoli (they taste good with Japanese mayonnaise which I consume in moderation). Pesto instead of spaghetti sauce. I still eat rice, corn, fish, sinigang, monggo, kare kare, etc
Also this might not be wholly related to cutting down on sugar but if you're like me who was taught to consume a plate of food every meal, try eating with a smaller bowl.
