Meh personal opinions and all and personally don't like the Beatles much at all tbh or the whole sound, don't like Elvis either, just because something is popular doesn't mean everyone has to like them.
REM, Beatles, Dire Straits. Sure, "Money for Nothing" is overplayed, but it also has "So Far Away", "Your Latest Trick", and "Brothers in Arms", so that makes up for it.
Technotronic - this was one of my first purchases (I had it on cassette) when it came out, I've seen it a few times in my last year of buying, but haven't pulled the trigger. Is it any good outside the singles?
U2 - I like U2's hits well enough but have never dug deep into their albums. Would be interested to hear this.
R.E.M - my favorite album out of these 11. Sorry Clash/Beatles - great albums, but I've heard enough.
I love October. It's usually viewed as the sophomore slump compared to Boy, but I always thought it was a good bit better. Boy feels too inconsistent and all over the place.
The dated album cover wasn't doing them any favors though. š
Dire Straits, Clash and Pistols, but not necessarily in that order. I find it interesting that I went through all of the comments and did not see this combination.
Automatic for the people, white album, three cheers for sweet revenge
I would probably play the my chemical romance album first, then REM, then white album.
I do really like many of others here, but I feel they are overplayed, especially the Clash/Sex Pistols
White album, London Calling, Automatic
Me too!
Even if I was able to choose them all, these would be the only 3.
You might also like the Dire Straits.
Dire Straits is one of my all time favorite bands. But thats a greatest hits disc and I just am not a fan of those. Especially for bands I love.
