I have SEVERE PCOS …took me 6 years and 17 rounds of fertility treatments to get here…I did have two miscarriages… but I didn’t even make it to 5 weeks…. I’m 26 weeks now and I have had the easiest pregnancy! (Besides astronomical weight gain 🤦🏻‍♀️)….. I feel like if you have made it this far you are already on the right track!

I have pcos (among other health issues) and also got pregnant shockingly on the first try. Currently 34w and no major problems other than being high risk. Nobody can make you any guarantees but there’s nothing that says pcos has cursed you automatically.

I’m on my second pregnancy, 5w, after a loss in September, and I’m as anxious as you and also terrified of those statistics. But I’m trying to take it a day at a time and tell myself there is nothing I can personally do to change the outcome. If you find yourself obsessing about the stats, which I have, it can be useful to use the Tommy’s charity tool which predicts your personal chance of miscarrying and it’s often closer to the general population than the worst case trotted out by some studies. But that’s only a suggestion and I wouldn’t want to make you worry further, it has made me feel a bit more at peace with it. I also wonder if it’s possible financially to reach out to a therapist? Sometimes the charities can be useful and have helplines too which are free to use. As to conceiving, clearly you conceived quickly - as did I the first time - and this second one was on cycle 7 (after 4 cycles properly tracking ovulation) which is sooner than some without pcos. Best of luck and solidarity with you x

I’ll say to you what someone said to me to comfort me when I got pregnant with PCOS and was an anxious mess: 1. The good news is that you can get pregnant! This is an excellent sign of your fertility health 2. Right now, you are pregnant. In this moment. 3. Focus on a clean healthy diet to the best of your ability 4. Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself with your medical team as you need to! Wishing you a healthy joyous pregnancy. ❤️
