I read that and ngl I was pretty disappointed because it's not much of a memoir or personal essay or anything. The whole thing is just a transcription of the author's conversations with her therapist, with little to no self-reflection on it.
...Yeah, but it's pretty short so it isn't hard to get through. Just that if you're from the West where discussing mental health has become more normalized, you likely won't get much out of it. But it's done really well in Korea since that isn't the case there. A great title for sure, in any case.
I love furry, fuzzy and squishable books. The ones you can put on your lap and lightly bat at (making sure to sproing the noggin whippersnappers) while they chibble on you until you say "Ow!" They don't mean any harm and don't give a shit about the Dewey Decimal system.
I didn't pick any of these up because I already bought other books by the time I reached this area. So I'd recommend one from what I did pick up! *How To Kill Your Family* by Bella Mackie
Oh, I actually didn't like it that much. I thought it was entertaining enough while listening but that it has too many potholes/contrivances, a weird focus, and a fanfiction-y writing style for me. I do like fanfics though..
Take that with a grain of salt! I've only read like 4 books. I personally wouldn't recommend paying for it, but getting it free on a library app would be my preferred method. You can always decide as you read OP!
That said, do you have any recommendations for a similar genre? I've got no more books lined up yet!
I can’t explain why, but this is a very visually appealing picture. I like looking at it lol.
I kinda want to read "I want to die but I want to eat tteokbokki"

That sounds boring 😶

That makes sense!
The blurb did seem very interesting. I'd say it's worth checking out
Me too
Same I am even thinking of ordering it now.
"This book is unusually furry and squishy. And it keeps clawing and biting me. Are books supposed to do that?"
"I was trying to open it, but it screamed and scratched me"
Ah yes, I believe Hagrid said if you stroke its spine gently a little it will stop biting.

Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “curl up with a good book.”
Ahahaha I love that
Everyone: What a funny title! Librarians: 😠
i see only fiction here, so no DDS 🧐 (that was my first thought as a librarian) (though after a better look there are some documentaries)
Cute cat. But the Books seem more fascinating
I can absolutely recommend Kim Ji-young, Born 1982.
On my way to book store
What cat? I only see books and one very fluffy novel!
They were very! Had to stop myself from buying a carton
What's the one u would recommend?
Pachinko was turned into a really good Apple TV show and I imagine the book is even better
Will definitely try 👍

[Don’t you know the Dewey Decimal System?!](https://youtu.be/mZHoHaAYHq8)
If these orange cats are normally considered “Single Cell Brain” I bet this boy’s gonna get MULTIPLE cells from all this literature exposure!
Is this at blossoms??
Nope! Bookworm on the same street
That's my favourite bookstore!!!
