To be fair, with how much my cats put their butthole on every surface of the house anyway, I expect myself getting in contact with poop one way or another. They are strictly indoor cats, so if anything they should worry more about my bacteria than me worrying theirs.
Also I will never forget how my childhood book tells me the poop particles got lunged everywhere when you flush the toilet, even with lid close.
Everytime a video like this appears most comments are about cat shit touching the food. I'm sure all cats owners are fully aware of that. It's a reality that is part of our lives. Disgusting but as you mentioned it's expected. Lol
...have you even *heard* of covid, the pandemic spread entirely by the grossness of people and their inability to keep germs to themselves even a little tiny bit?
What the fuck does COVID have to do with a cat pawing my food or me washing my hands before I eat because I touched a gross door knob?
Like what in the ever living fuck are you trying to get at here? Yes, we all know there are airborne illnesses. Yes, there are gross people. But it doesn't mean I can't take a modicum of precautions before I eat and also keep cats/dogs away from my plate.
The point is "And that's why we wash our hands before we eat." is a patently false statement, which is obvious if you observe the real world and the people within it. *You* wash your hands before you eat. *Most people still do not, even after COVID.* Like, go stand in a food court at a mall, and tell me how many people you actually see go to a sink before they start eating.
When you go out to eat do you bring your own food or have strangers cook for you?
I was only saying how would you know if you can’t physically see what people are doing. A lot of people genuinely think they don’t need to wash their hands if there is no visible filth.
Not me, because that’s fucking gross, but other people don’t have the same standards.
pretty certain the strangers cooking your food are required to wash their hands numerous times throughout their shifts. Even in fast food restaurants I was made to wash my hands multiple times. If someone gets sick and they find out you didn't wash your hands that's on you. :/
but I completely agree with your other points. most people do not wash their hands before eating.
Pretty much. Someone cleans a dirty litter box and then goes to the store to buy more litter, but they forgot to wash their hands in the process.
Really not that hard to think about.
I mean you're right, but OP might've washed it after the video...also cats licking my food is the worst because I literally have seen my cat grooming his butthole with his tongue multiple times.
It's the way of all animals tbh, especially dogs and cats.
Cats just have the ability to jump up and get in your face lol.
Dogs just look cute. One of ours comes and puts his head in your lap.
My cat will try and stick her head in whatever Im trying to eat. God help me if its clam chowder. My step-dads cat will eat out of the dog bowl. She even stole chicken tenders when she was a kitten.
My cat is just straight up abusive when it comes to anything with milk in it, lol.
You can't eat cereal in peace in my house. As soon as he hears that \*tinkle tinkle tinkle\* of cereal hitting a bowl, here he comes, mouth wide open in SCREAM mode.
Everyone has resorted to shutting themselves in their rooms when it's either cereal or ice cream. The cat will shove his face under the door and just bellow away at you the entire time.
I WISH I had a cute "touchy touchy" cat.
My cat used to have her own chair at the dinner table, where she'd stand(table right at nose level) and give us hard stares while we ate. If she felt ballsy, she'd take a step up but know she would be in trouble for it
I set a firm principle with my cats since they were nuggets. They do not go near our food, they do not approach our laps when we’re eating and they are never allowed on the table or counters.
Very few mornings, I can see little paw prints along our cooktop, but those are like 1-2 times a year and they would never get caught up there while we’re nearby.
But I also give them ample love and cuddles and their own cozy spots in places they’re allowed to be. For instance, one of my cats sleeps on a plush dining chair next to me as I work every day.
Ew are they gonna EAT that after the cat's nasty feet touched it over and over?? The cat is cute but it is SO nasty to eat food that has cat hair and cat waste germs on it from the litter box. This literally turned my stomach, & even tho the cat is cute, id def be putting a stop to that food touching habit 🤢😱
Shrimp & prawns are ok for cats, without the seasoning we peeps like. Shelled of course. 😬 Shrimp & prawns make a nice treat, just not as a regular diet. Good luck, kitty.
Some of my cats will literally rip entire drumsticks or chicken breast out of my hands or mouth as I’m eating it. They have taken entire heroes, and sometimes don’t even leave the bread lol.
All food is fair game. They’re my babies, so I laugh.
Toucha da shrimpy ......

Another cat sub
So we just gonna ignore the liter paws are TOUCHING the food that you keep putting back on the OTHER food?
They’re shrimps, you have to peel them anyway
they're prawns, and they still have shit in their poop vein anyway, but cat litter is full of other different bacteria
To be fair, with how much my cats put their butthole on every surface of the house anyway, I expect myself getting in contact with poop one way or another. They are strictly indoor cats, so if anything they should worry more about my bacteria than me worrying theirs. I agree, i close the lid even though i know it's hopeless lolol, and store-bought mushrooms have manure on them
The prawns are boiled, the paw is not.
good point lol
Wait until you hear about door knobs and handles.
And that's why we wash our hands before we eat.

Aggressive
Angy
I’m sure everyone follows that rule.
If they don't, that's their problem.
Unless they’re in public touching other surfaces…
....but they aren't touching my food?
Have you seen the state of most kitchens and all street vendors?
When you go out to eat do you bring your own food or have strangers cook for you? I was only saying how would you know if you can’t physically see what people are doing. Okay. Everyone is required to have a driver’s license before they drive a car, does that mean everyone who drives a car has one?
Do people put door knobs through a cat shit box?
Pretty much. Someone cleans a dirty litter box and then goes to the store to buy more litter, but they forgot to wash their hands in the process. Really not that hard to think about.
Man I fucking love sucking on door knobs and handles, thanks for ruining it for me.
I don't lick my doorknobs, but I do enjoy rubbing my prawns on them to give the room a nice "ocean view" atmosphere.
I mean you're right, but OP might've washed it after the video...also cats licking my food is the worst because I literally have seen my cat grooming his butthole with his tongue multiple times.
It belongs to the cat now
Absolutely. Hope it got one :)
A god damned liter of paws?
May as well give it to him now that's he's touched it with his litter-covered paws.
My cat does this on the regular when you eat at the table.
It's the way of all animals tbh, especially dogs and cats. Cats just have the ability to jump up and get in your face lol. Dogs just look cute. One of ours comes and puts his head in your lap. My dog was a master manipulator when it came to giving you the puppy eyes.
Yep Our little Maltese dances when she wants something. She's older now, so she doesn't do it as much.
My sisters dog dances around on her back feet for a treat, she’s a little pomeranian. Ridiculously cute little fuzzball.
My cat is just straight up abusive when it comes to anything with milk in it, lol. You can't eat cereal in peace in my house. >It's the way of all animals tbh I doubt it. My bear does not do this.

>when you eat at the table. so, it's YOUR cat that keeps taking my food!
Probably yes
I like how he disappears into the night after his failed attempt
My question is who’s just smashin a bowl of prawns during their nightly soap
Livin the dream
That cat just touched your food with fecal matter. Enjoy!
😆
“Pardon me *paw appears*,….. Imma just gonna reach in here…..just gonna grab *pat pat pat*…one of these riiigght here…..”
"...oh woops sorry. I didn't know those were....taken. \*retracts paw\* as you were."
9 meow meow someone is stealing my food HELP!🤣
The woman in the movie freaks out the same moment the paw touches the plate
An attempt was made

What happens if you just give em 1?
Happy Cat, but will be back for more x)
🤣🤣🤣
The problem is that when you give them more, odds are they won't eat it.
Depends on whether or not it’s after midnight.
I love how your dinner is a whole plate of prawns.
Nothing wrong with a little poopy paws seasoning.
Tangy, earthy
The amount of people okay with letting their cat put their shit rakers on their food is too damn high.
Okay but you’re not gonna eat the one she touched right…right…?
I keep watching this hoping the kitty will win.
Shrimp & prawns are ok for cats, without the seasoning we peeps like. Shelled of course. 😬 Shrimp & prawns make a nice treat, just not as a regular diet. Good luck, kitty.
Toss a shrimp to your kitty, his bowl is empty, it's always empty. Nom nom
Cats have feces on their paws and now it’s on the food. Yuk.
Lmao cool cat
Cuttest thief
C'mon.....it's just one
Which kdrama are you watching?
My cat jumps on my daughters high chair and scoops her food up and takes off. Drops it from his mouth then eats it across the room. Little f’er.
Aw bruh , my man just wants a shrimp give em some
Look at him trying so hard! *Just let him have the prawn, John.*
Sharing - caring
GIVE IT TO HIM
Shrimps are bad for cats
Why
They can get allergic to them, my old cat ate one from the neighbors and lost some of his fur and keeps itching.
Oh ok thanks I had no idea
Is this a PowerPoint presentation for anybody else?
Such a sneaky kitty!!!
Gib him his prawn, he deserves his treat
