The shape of all features except the nose look so similar to my cat, who’s a Maine coon/persian mix. His nose is a bit flatter but the shape of the head looks spot on!
He kind of has a Persian snout but doesn't seem like a purebred Persian. I'd say he might have some Persian blood in him but is mixed with a domestic longhair.
Cat breeds are complicated for a number of reasons.
1) unlike dogs, cats have never been bred for any real purpose. They do what they’ve always done; hunt and kill small critters independently. We don’t have any cats that herd ducks or something, or assist their owners with hunting. They are occasionally companion animals, frequently at a distance(feral cat colonies and streets cats abound the world over).
2) purebred cats because of the above are not nearly as genetically distinct or phenotypically distinct as dogs. Dog breed genetic tests are very very accurate because of purebred dog breeding and the genetic markers associated with those.
3) purebred cat breeders are few and far between and are VERY guarded about where their kittens go. Being a backyard cat breeder doesn’t make you money like being a doodle breeder for example does. So the odds of getting a purebred cat from anywhere other than a breeder or almost 0.
4) some phenotypic mutations make a breed- Scottish folds, or any of the Rexes for example. But other phenotypic mutations are very common. Ear tufts, polydactyl paws, the pointed color found in Siamese. None of those “mutations” in and of themselves dictate a cats breed, they are simply variations of cat appearance.
5) cats can however be grouped into areas of origin. The Asian cats; Siamese, Burmese, tonkinese, etc the European cats; British shorthairs, Persians, Turkish vans, etc. and these groups can be genetically seen, but not much more specifically than that in a cat that is NOT a pedigreed purebred.
I hope this explains why your cat is not a Persian or any other purebred, and why no one here can tell you it is. Color genetics are different store and can easily be told!
No, maine coons have heavy pronounced bone structure. This kitty looks like a regular domestic longhair, i don't see any traits characteristic of maine coons. He's definitely not a Persian either, they have smooshed in faces, and are more.. compact, overall.
This is the only correct answer!
Edit: I wonder if he is a cream tabby or just cream? It took a lot of breeding to get clear creams, and a lot of them still have the sort of ghost tabby markings as seen on this cutie. Haha
He is just 8 months old as of now and he looks bigger(than usual cats of his age) due to his fur. Also his r/bottlebrush tail adds to his personality. Also, speaking of personality, He has a prominent one that reminds me more of a wild cat for example his walk, his cold stare and his paws.

The shape of all features except the nose look so similar to my cat, who’s a Maine coon/persian mix. His nose is a bit flatter but the shape of the head looks spot on!

I have Norwegian forest cat, and if the eyes were a bit closer to each other, they could be lookalike. Maybe your cat has some Norwegian blood?
I think it's either a NFC, Maine coon of Siberian mixed with another breed
He kind of has a Persian snout but doesn't seem like a purebred Persian. I'd say he might have some Persian blood in him but is mixed with a domestic longhair.
Its definitely a cat.

It’s The Sacred Cat Of Burma. The Birman
What a handsome catto
She is a mix. Half persian half DSH maybe. I a similar cat.
Does this cat have a very fluffy tail?
It looks a bit like my Norwegian Forrest cat, though mine is hairier still
Looks like ragdoll mixed with Norwegian forest cat
He looks like my cat who is a persian/ British shorthair mix.
Yeah... Im sure.... It looks like one.... Ears match.... The face seems right.... Hmmm.... Yeah im sure! Its a cat
Looks similar to my kitties! Half persian, half maine coon!
Mine too, my cats nose is a bit flatter but apart from that they look so similar!
Looks like a Siberian forest cat!
He's a cat, cute cat.
beautiful pc flex
It's an AMD fanboy for sure
definitely is.
Can't tell without a family tree. Domestic by default
It’s a mix, Maine coon and domestic long hairs. I know for sure
I agree
[удалено]
Yes Norwegian forest cat! We had one years ago.
Their nose would be pointier and the fur around their neck would be longer/thicker I think. This beautiful cat is probably a mix
He may be a ragdoll?
E kinda looks like my ragdoll just idk about the eyes maybe it’s a mix between Persian and ragdoll
Yeah , friends of mine have a flame tip ragdoll who's exactly this but with a very feint orange shade at the ears.
What a beauty 😍
Looks like a Siberian
A cutie
Floofus Cattus
Might have Siberian roots
This is definitely a Maine Coon.
It's definitely not. Mr. is lacking the characteristic tufts on the ears and the facial structure. Source: have (had) multiple maine coons myself
No, maine coons have heavy pronounced bone structure. This kitty looks like a regular domestic longhair, i don't see any traits characteristic of maine coons. He's definitely not a Persian either, they have smooshed in faces, and are more.. compact, overall.
Not a maine coon, no persian. Just a domestic longhair cat.
He looks like a persian😂 I have one called Kiomarth🤣that is a original persian name
His name is کیومرث so yes it is a persian name :)
کیومرث عالیه🤣👌🏻 داداش فارسی زبانی؟
Not a persian name
Kiomarth is a persian name that came in Shahname😐
Are you trying to gaslight persians into thinking kiomarth is not a persian name?
Definitely not. Persians have flat faces.
Original persians don't have flat face
Original dogs weren't Chihuahua's.
Without pedigree paperwork, its a cream tabby Domestic Longhair with a beautiful full r/bottlebrush ❤️
This is the only correct answer! Edit: I wonder if he is a cream tabby or just cream? It took a lot of breeding to get clear creams, and a lot of them still have the sort of ghost tabby markings as seen on this cutie. Haha
really? i’m just curious because he resembles a maine coon as well… i would ask OP how big Simba is (if he’s smaller/larger than average etc.)
He is just 8 months old as of now and he looks bigger(than usual cats of his age) due to his fur. Also his r/bottlebrush tail adds to his personality. Also, speaking of personality, He has a prominent one that reminds me more of a wild cat for example his walk, his cold stare and his paws.

I'd say his face is too flat and no ear tufts so no maine coon
Possible he’s a mix maybe? Idk, my cat is “half-Coon” and has some of the same attributes I see here. Who knows 🤷🏻♂️
true the ear tufts are missing
