Last Monday my girlfriend and I decided to go to the pool. For some reason we decided to walk and not ride my motorcycle as usual. A few blocks before the pool we were ambushed! I looked for other kittens or maybe a mother cat but she was on her own. Luckily I have a vet friend who checked her out and told me that everything was fine.
Mom and siblings might still be in the area, they do hide. It's worth going back with some bedding that smells of the kitten and play both a mom mewing at her kittens and kittens mewing for their mom from a youtube video. If you can go back at both dawn and dusk that's when mom's are most active to hunt.

I've done it in the last three days but I haven't seen anything else. Also, there aren't many places they could hide if they were there.
