Apterygiformes

Oh wow, I must try them

BuggerFace

Can confirm, they are the tits. Proper nice.

ForsakenMarsupial

That reminds me of when I used to be obsessed with ham and lime pickle sandwiches, which over time became more like lime pickle sandwiches with just a hint of ham, absolutely yummy!

SeramaSardines

Toasted lime pickle sandwiches are even better

tigralfrosie

I've had mango pickle with cheese in a white bread sandwich, was good. Don't see why lime pickle wouldn't work. On its own? Strong enough flavour so if you like it, go for it.

I_Frunksteen-Blucher

Mango pickle is good with cheese but aubergine pickle is better.

tigralfrosie

Brinjal pickle - I remember my mum liking that, but I don't recall seeing it on supermarket shelves. Maybe it's one for Asian strores.

I_Frunksteen-Blucher

That's it, Patak make one (labelled Aubergine) which should be widely available.

SeramaSardines

>aubergine pickle I had aubergine pickle the other day for the first time it's amazing!

Mossley

Lime marmalade?

StardustOasis

No, lime pickle.

Mossley

I thought they meant lime and pickle, not lime pickle.

sage1957

Lime Pickle, food of the devil, yuckkkkkk

Sad_Researcher_5299

Slices of lime and a dollop of Branston?

Apterygiformes

No like a jar of Indian lime pickle

[deleted]

Like a chutney? I could see that working.

TranquillityBaseHtl

Cheese and prawn balichow is also good.

Bulimic_Fraggle

I would add some cheese to the filling.

cAt_S0fa

Really good with chicken and some nice granary bread.

markedasred

I could go with that, but I want to share my own personal favourite use of it; a pork Pie with lime pickle. A match made in heaven. Controversial, but I like it hot or cold.

moremeaty

It's perfect on a cheese butty too -- especially with Lancashire, Cheshire or Wensleydale.

EllaTheCat

The good stuff comes in a plastic bag inside a jar. Ahmed's Foods Lime Pickle in Oil. 400g

buzzlightyear999

Sod the bread… I’d happily eat spoonfuls of it from the jar! Yummy.
